Then, when you’re done digesting all that, wipe your nose, grow a pair, do your little Jay-Z dance move, and take your own advice to your daughters:

The Left certainly knows about “tasteless and offensive”. They’re experts at it.
All this talk of growing a pair is like asking john kerry for an origial thought- is just ain’t in the jeans.
You simply don’t understand. Obama is the Chosen One. He simply cannot be besmirched the way us mere mortals are, lest we face eternal damnation in the flames of California.
Both Obama and the Left in this country intend to catagorize any criticism, any caricature of him as ‘racist’. To force across their wild, socialist agenda on the people by putting everyone on a guilt trip.
Such a lame attempt, hiding that neither has real solutions to America’s threats or problems.
Oh, Barry- at least they hid your big ears.
President Bush has endured slander of the worst kind without a sound. Senator McCain got the living snot beat out of him for 6 years at the Hanoi Hilton. I’m sure either of them could call the wah-mbulence for you, Senator.
Obama is whining if he calls ugly rumors and stereotypes of himself and his wife tasteless and offensive? just because idiots outside with stupid signs and tshirt makers in their basement create the same garbage doesnt balance it out and make it right.

It never ceases to amaze me how vicious the left can be. If Obama wants to step into the arena, he really does need to grow a pair.

as for the other kind, they just don’t grow on trees you either have em or you don’t. Just on his non voting to not show his hand on anything it’s obvious he does not have a pair.
Bush keeps moving on because he is focused on results. He doesn’t sweat the small stuff. Obama and the Moonbats focus on grievance and display because that is all they have. The cornering of the term Move On by the left was brilliant because that was the one thing they can not do. Results are meaningless to them. All they can do is attack those who create and build and solve problems. If Obama didn’t have non-issues to agonize over, like someone insulting him, then he would have to talk about the substance of an issue. Now Obama gets to talk about the appearance of substance. The hate filled thugs that attack Condi Rice are not an aberration, they are Obama’s core constituency.
Note to Obama: don’t go near Jesse (the race baiter) when he’s holding a pair of scissors.
If Barry grows a pair & that is a BIG IF, didn’t Jesse call dibs on them with scalpel in hand.
To the liberal mind, an individual’s personal character is solely defined by his/her racial or gender identity. This is the reason that they don’t cry foul when similar attacks are launched against conservates who happen to belong to a racial minority. Afterall, if conservatives remained “true to their identity” then they would not be conservatives. Therefore, it’s only racist if you attack a liberal in this manner because such an attack is a personal attack upon character.
This is truly the most backward thinking movement that I have ever witnessed – and they call themselves “progressive”. Quite mindless if you ask me!
I like it. I think it shows excatly who these people are.
This cover’s biting criticism of The Obamboozler reminded me of the fabulous film by Billy Wilder, “One, Two, Three.” I highly recommend it as good inspiration in describing Obama and his “people’s vision” (see Buchholz in film).
But…but…but…it’s just all a distration from change.
My young college Obamamaniac has a big sticker on her laptop that says, “God hates George Bush’. She works at a public school and the laptop and sticker are visable in the classroom everyday and no one has ever told her to remove it. But I will bet this cover would sure be yanked pretty damn fast.

The irony is that long before the campaign is over, the left will be pointing to this particular attack and others like it as evidence of right wing hate mongering.
Now if Obama would just show us he can walk on water, then we would know he is the chosen one. Racism and being insensitive comes in all colors and it doesn’t matter if you are a Dem or Rep. But only a Dem can get away with it.
Barry Obama the media phenomena have thee no stones? Smooth talking when reading from cards, but without look-out, he’s a one-hit wonder with nothing to show for it…but a media fixation that is what he is and nothing else.
The cover was intended as a satire on how the Right views the Messiah. For heaven’s sake, it is impossible to conceive of the New Yorker doing anything else. The Obamas being the urban sophisticates that they claim to be certainly should know that, or does irony completely escape them?
As for McCain, he thinks irony is something the laundry does to his shirts. If he does win, I can well am imagine him spending election night repeatedly apologizing. Like Bush he appears to have two modes: placating the left and attacking the right. Why didn’t these men switch parties decades ago? They could have spared us so much.
George Bush’s answer to the satire and caracatures of him was that they were exibiting the right to free speech. Senator Hussein has a list of things we aren’t supposed to talk about, meaning anything derogatory or concieved as negative by him. Unbelievable.

With due respect, this is one of the most oblivious blog posts I have ever seen. First, the issue isn’t Barack Obama. The issue is Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh and all the other demagogues who have taken the opportunity at every chance they get to play on Americans’ bigotry by calling him Barack Hussein Obama (what’s John McCain’s middle name? I don’t know either because it’s not important unless you have roots in an unpopular ethnic group).
And the issue is Michelle Malkin for taking on Mrs. Obama for being a strong black woman — dare I say a typical strong black woman — who has the nerve to say what she feels is wrong with this country.
For once, it’s the Republican who has left his cripple wife for a young, beautiful, rich heiress — and then lying about the adultery. This time, it’s the Democrat who is the pillar of family values, but it doesn’t matter. It’s always something, and it’s always personal.
Moreover, either condemn all bigotry or excuse all bigotry. You can’t spend your whole life whining about the Ted Ralls of the world, and then say “get over it” when liberals are exposed to equally offensive hatred. Condemn the Curious George shirts. Condemn the Obama “assassination chic.” Don’t play the conservative grievance card and then tell Obama to “grow a pair” when his camp (not really Obama, who just shrugged and had no comment when told of the story) takes offense.
Obama is a mix of rube and urban, that’s a Ruban. When a candidate for POTUS lacks the ability to understand why much of the world speaks English rather than Ghetto he’s a relic of the far, far left. Obama is often compared to JFK, and for many good reasons. They are (were) both young and charismatic senators. It has been pointed out several times that Kennedy was a terrible president for many reasons, not the least of which is that he was nowhere near bright or experienced enough to handle the job.
But, although he was a cretin, there’s no denying that JFK had a pair. Aside from his psychotic womanizing, he was a man’s man. That was actually his aura – much of it faked, given the reality of his frail health, but his “pitch” was “here’s a man’s man.”
Obama has JFK’s look, but beyond that he’s 100% Phil Donahue.
The press will make a meal of Oboohoo for 4 years. It will make the Carter years look like a love-fest.
This will be the one high-point in what will otherwise be a miserable 4 years…

The irony of this statement, of course, is that the cartoon is meant to make fun of how absurd these right wing slurs are (as well as the people who make and believe them. In other words, The New Yorker isn’t laughing with you, it’s laughing at you). The artist is quoted as saying the cover was created to “show it as the fear-mongering ridiculousness that it is.”
Really? I kinda think it’s par for the course around here.

I don’t know if Newt has weighed in yet, but if he does be sure he’ll mention the 1994 Time (with Newt as Scrooge taking away Tiny Tim’s crutch) and Newsweek (with Newt as Dr. Seuss’s Grinch) covers in 1994 after the Repubs took over the House. And the sick thing is, they were SERIOUS. The most popular weeklies out there, not some crappy little New Yorker mag. Gingrich is still steaming about those covers, 14 years later.

I think it’s a great cover for the magazine. The american white voter should not be forced to vote for Obama because he or she is guilty of being born white. They should not vote for that clown and his angry wife because they are bad for our country.
The Obamas spent 25 years or however many going to all black anti white church ceremenonies. I’d say that is out of touch with most Americans. If McCain went to an all white church which spewed out anti black sermons every week he’d be on a grill for it. But he’s white so the rules are different…

The cartoon shows the prejudiced, twisted mind of a left-wing cartoonist and what he thinks of the mind of the right-winger. Even those on the left should be able to see the joke is on the cartoonist, not on conservatives. The truth is, the mind of a conservative is generally more flexible and lacking in prejudice than those on the left. There are so many things a left-winger won’t consider rationally because his emotions get in the way.

Their behavior over the past 20 years, plus some of their campaign commentary, would say the picture painted by the New Yorker isn’t too far off the mark – regardless of where it comes from.
But, then agin, who am I to blaspheme the son of god, right?

But, see, the media does report some of this stuff, but it’s never a big deal. It’s not important to the media, nor deal-breaking news to those who believe in liberal candidates. The only things that matter to liberals is if we go to church, how we teach our children to salute a flag, if I want to smoke a cigarette in a bar, if I don’t want to put on my seatbelt, or if we want to search suspicious-looking people at the airport.
