Unhinged in Arizona: Open-borders mob, led by public official, ravages Joe Arpaio effigy

Reader Tim C. in Tucscon sent me an e-mail about some completely unhinged open-borders activists who mobbed a book event for Sheriff Joe Arpaio. A group of young pro-illegal alien protesters repeatedly beats an effigy of Arpaio as Isabel Garcia–local reconquistadora and an official from the Pima County legal defender’s office–eggs them on. She then parades around with the effigy’s head as onlookers cheer and hoist up the rest of the battered body.

And they call us uncivil?

Unbelievable.

Watch the video for yourselves:

Tim writes:

“Last week, we had an interesting situation here in Tucson that our local media, with the exception of one local talk radio host, seems to be afraid to cover.

Maricopa county sheriff Joe Arpaio has recently released a book and was in town for a signing at a Barnes and Noble store. Sheriff Arpaio is well know for his strict adherence for enforcing the laws and has some unique ways of dealing with offenders – county prisoners live in tents, work on chain gangs, etc. I would be surprised if you haven’t at least heard of him. Anyway, a local “civil rights” group, Derechos Humanos (http://www.derechoshumanosaz.net/) was on hand to protest his visit to Tucson. Isabel Garcia, is a member of the group’s board and holds a position with the Pima County Legal Defender’s office, was at this protest. I believe, and many others in Tucson agree, that Ms Garcia’s actions were way beyond what would be considered as an acceptable form of free speech from a member of the Bar association and as a county employee.

I’m hearing from many other upset Tucson residents. Reader Tyler writes:

For some reason (most likely a sympathic view/common ideology), her superiors, other city employees, and news agencies refuse to report on the situation, and those who are questioned see nothing wrong with her actions.

This is obviously in conflict with the ethical code of conduct she is expected to follow, and is clearly spelled out by the Arizona Bar Association: she is expected to behave in a respectable manner, in or out of office, and is not to show disresepct to fellow members of the legal institution.

Please give this story the attention in deserves.

What they do not tell you, is that many of these “protestors” have probably been guests of Sheriff Arpaio in the past, and are all PO’d that they had to…*GASP*…be treated like criminals and not hotel guests while in his custody.

It makes you wonder just how few Liberal protestors there would be in this country had the laws not been changed years ago for allowing the mentally insane and disturbed to be allowed to stay free from mental health care and housing unless they pose a threat to themselves or others?

All anyone has to do is attend a rally or look at pictures/videos of said events to see just how many of them are just plain whack-a-doos and just this side of “criminally insane”.

Oh doing the right thing has become the taboo of this era. You shatter people’s bubble and call them a bad person or even worse *gasp* a sinner and they will jump all over you like flies to sugar. Any man willing stand up to the corruption in government and society that ignore the laws that make this nation sovereign is a hero in my book.

You get em Joe, the sane parts of society have your back as you round up these law breakers and send them packing back across the border.

At what point does “free speech” and the right to peacefully assemble, become “hate speech” and the encouragement to commit violence against law enforcement?

The only difference I see here, between Islamo-terrorists, and Azlano-terrorists is the language.

Unfortunately, to our demise, the liberals not only tolerate this type of action, they openly encourage it.

What we need is a law enforcement, Rapid Deployment Force, that would descend on this type of illegal alien love-fest, round up all participants/lookers-on, identify them, and if here illegally, deport them.

What would you suppose would happen, if someone created an effigy of a Latino “Illegal Jose,” and began beating it with a bat (to the cheering and encouragement of a pro-American crowd, of, oh I don’t know, say white people?) You got it! It would not be tolerated…but this is?

We must be very careful what we label as “hate speech,” lest we sound too much like the liberals; I have to agree, however, that Garcia’s actions are way beyond what should be allowed from a public official and violence should NEVER be endorsed against anyone (unless, of course, you’re talking about al Qaeda).

La Raza’s declaration of racial war against the hated “Anglos” (white or European Americans) is contained in its “Aztlan Plan.”

“The goal is La Reconquista, the Reconquest: to force by whatever means necessary – from population swamping via illegal immigration to Palestinian-style terrorism – the return of the entire American Southwest to Mexico. La Raza calls this region Aztlan, the mythic land of Aztec origin.”

La Raza will use “whatever means necessary” to take over our lands.

Juan McAmnesty panders to the “The Race” and promises them amnesty.

Therefore, McAmnesty is tacitly supporting the beating of Sheriff Joe in effigy!

Any interest in addressing the rest of my comment? You know,

McCain would most likely condemn this behavior. However, he did seem… empathetic… to the La Raza questioner’s position about the “inhumane” ICE raids.

And if you seriously think that John McCain has any interest in

deporting any and all to be found to be illegal.

What I don’t understand is the debased society that we’ve become that we could glory in even the artificial death of a man merely doing the job he is sworn to do. Nor do I understand the incredible horrific posts some liberals have written and allowed to stay on web sites about Tony Snow, again, just a man doing his job.

Beam me up Scotty. I don’t recognize this world anymore.

I can not wait until November. It’s can’t come soon enough. If McCain wins the presidency, I’ll really celebrate. On one hand, there will be all of the democrats taking medication and scheduling therapy for their depression,*1 or they might visit the Canada immigration website*2 and plan their exodus. In addition to them, disgusting, lying sacks of excrement like John Ansell here will also have to endure the pain of at least 4 years of McInsane tormenting him.

    It’s a win-win situation.

    *1
In Boca Raton, Fla., for instance, more than a dozen Kerry supporters have sought professional therapy in the wake of the election. A trauma specialist there, Douglas Schooler, says he has treated at least 15 clients with “intense hypnotherapy” since Kerry’s concession last week. Some patients were “emotionally paralyzed, shocked and devastated”, according to Schooler. “I observed patients threatening to leave the country or staring listlessly into space.” Perhaps he was describing John Kerry himself.

*2 Canada is starting to look like a pretty good place to live for thousands of Americans who are unhappy about George W. Bush winning the presidential election. There were about 179,000 visitors to the site Wednesday, almost twice the previous one-day record set last year. About 64 per cent of those visitors were Americans.

And no a prosecutor won’t take the case because the corruption in this country has become so entrenched we are arguing about whether illegal invaders should decide who will rule this country. Ironic isn’t it? As a result many Americans mourn the loss of their country for their children and grandchildren.I suspect veterans feel the loss more keenly than anyone. You want that for America? McInsane does. Sheriff Joe is cleaning up the mess. He is following the law, not helping 3rd world citizens turn America into a third world country.

Call me all the childish names you wish. The fact remains that McInsane’s amensty and reforms are a joke. A great many people that are not supporting McAmnesty is over that very reason, he wants Amnesty. He should listen to the base if he wants voters like me to support him. So, if he wins, I’m not going to go crazy nor move, nor change my feelings toward the old crump. It just means I’ll have to work harder on the Congress and Senate to block him on the amnesty.

    You are a liar.

Recognize the importance of assimilation of our immigrant population, which includes learning English, American history and civics, and respecting the values of a democratic society.
