Reader Tim C. in Tucscon sent me an e-mail about some completely unhinged open-borders activists who mobbed a book event for Sheriff Joe Arpaio. A group of young pro-illegal alien protesters repeatedly beats an effigy of Arpaio as Isabel Garcia–local reconquistadora and an official from the Pima County legal defender’s office–eggs them on. She then parades around with the effigy’s head as onlookers cheer and hoist up the rest of the battered body.
And they call us uncivil?
Unbelievable.

“Last week, we had an interesting situation here in Tucson that our local media, with the exception of one local talk radio host, seems to be afraid to cover.
Maricopa county sheriff Joe Arpaio has recently released a book and was in town for a signing at a Barnes and Noble store. Sheriff Arpaio is well know for his strict adherence for enforcing the laws and has some unique ways of dealing with offenders – county prisoners live in tents, work on chain gangs, etc. I would be surprised if you haven’t at least heard of him. Anyway, a local “civil rights” group, Derechos Humanos (http://www.derechoshumanosaz.net/) was on hand to protest his visit to Tucson. Isabel Garcia, is a member of the group’s board and holds a position with the Pima County Legal Defender’s office, was at this protest. I believe, and many others in Tucson agree, that Ms Garcia’s actions were way beyond what would be considered as an acceptable form of free speech from a member of the Bar association and as a county employee.
I’m hearing from many other upset Tucson residents. Reader Tyler writes:
For some reason (most likely a sympathic view/common ideology), her superiors, other city employees, and news agencies refuse to report on the situation, and those who are questioned see nothing wrong with her actions.
This is obviously in conflict with the ethical code of conduct she is expected to follow, and is clearly spelled out by the Arizona Bar Association: she is expected to behave in a respectable manner, in or out of office, and is not to show disresepct to fellow members of the legal institution.
Please give this story the attention in deserves.

Does this disqualify us from having to do anything humane when we ship these illegals back home?
What they do not tell you, is that many of these “protestors” have probably been guests of Sheriff Arpaio in the past, and are all PO’d that they had to…*GASP*…be treated like criminals and not hotel guests while in his custody.
It makes you wonder just how few Liberal protestors there would be in this country had the laws not been changed years ago for allowing the mentally insane and disturbed to be allowed to stay free from mental health care and housing unless they pose a threat to themselves or others?
All anyone has to do is attend a rally or look at pictures/videos of said events to see just how many of them are just plain whack-a-doos and just this side of “criminally insane”.
I have no doubt…that America is going to have some level of a civil war in the next 5-10 years.
May not be a full blown, war..but I can see real Americans at some point, in some areas of the country, getting fed up with being forced to accept this disgusting gov’t incompetence & self fulfilling attitude, that they decide that since they have no voice in the current gov’t…they create their own.

At what point does “free speech” and the right to peacefully assemble, become “hate speech” and the encouragement to commit violence against law enforcement?

What we need is a law enforcement, Rapid Deployment Force, that would descend on this type of illegal alien love-fest, round up all participants/lookers-on, identify them, and if here illegally, deport them.

If our US citizens and [some] public officals don’t see anything wrong with proudly strutting around with an effigeal head of another public official(outrageous conduct previously reserved to the neanderthal Islamofascists), we are closer to a complete takeover than I’d feared.
If only all the Sheriff’s across this great land acted like Sheriff Joe, we wouldn’t have all these illegals demanding rights they don’t deserve.
Other than being able to read a few signs was anything in English? I say we start monitoring all of these events & start deporting (on the spot) anyone without VALID ID or ANY NON-ENGLISH SPEAKING protester. I am sick of these clowns & the sham congress, governors & future presidential hopeless boneheads. My son is returning from Germany in September after a stint in Iraq & living abroad for 6 years, He married a very talented woman (German National) with a Masters degree . You can not believe the hoops she has had to jump through to get a VISA and Green card, it has been a 24 month process to finally get approved. If enough of us change our witholding exemptions to 20 or more and put what we would normally pay in taxes into a savings account, it would keep the clown politicians from being able to pay for the care and welfare of thier pet illegals. Thier only income would be from sales tax and should not be enough to keep the benefits rolling. Then come April, if a vast majority of us do this, with a huge number of us, we could get together and decide if we want to follow tax laws or not…you know the way so many people get to pick and choose whether or not they want to follow immigration laws. Just a thought.

On the other hand, while I have seen firsthand just how incompetent he and his chief, Hendershott the Hutt, really are, I must also agree that there is a point at which detracting goes too far. We must be very careful what we label as “hate speech,” lest we sound too much like the liberals; I have to agree, however, that Garcia’s actions are way beyond what should be allowed from a public official and violence should NEVER be endorsed against anyone (unless, of course, you’re talking about al Qaeda).
And while I don’t agree with McCain on illegal immigration, either, I can’t say that he really endorsed this sort of behavior. Simply speaking out against a person’s actions does not constitute that leap.

Isabel Garcia sj=hould be fired and her law licence removed. She is suppose to be an officer of the court and is held to a higher standard for having this position. Her position does not give her the right to disrepect the law she took an oathe to up hold. I will be writing asking for her to be removed. I ask others to do so also.
