I bet the over on both. You bet the under on both. If one or the other of us wins both that person can pick the handle of the other for an entire month (using the nickname feature). Obviously no name that would get either of us banned. If one wins one and one wins the other, neither wins. If one wins one and the other falls on the line, the winner of one wins and gets to choose the other’s handle for a month.

I expect the Senate and Congress to make a few puny gains this election cycle then it’s all down hill from there.

I think you are pretty much alone in that regard, according to every current poll of voter preference and pretty much every ranking republican and democrat. If you have some particular insight on this I would love to hear it.

And just out of curiosity to MM, where was the post when Bush’s disapproval rating hit an all time low with Gallup?

With the current Congress’s approval rating at rock bottom 14% approval rating for Congress, one would think that the Republicans would be in a great position to take back a significant number of seats.
