I'm also a PMS conservative -- I'm Postponing McCain Support until he proves himself as a conservative.

So far, it seems he's proven he wants to be a power broker for most any group that has a camera focused on them. Good luck with that... I can vote for him, but not send him money.

McCain-Feingold biting the Errant Senator on the butt? He has spent twenty years bad mouthing his fellow Republicans and is at a lost to understand why they don't support him. Is this man smart enough to be President? And his election staff is no brighter. They have no way of tracting their mailings. When I get a McCain 08 letter I send them a 10 centavo coin. That would not pay for the postage! And yet the next month I get a new mailing.

I am sending money to quite a few conservatives around the country. I will vote for McCain out of fear of Obama and MamaObama. But just about the time I almost broke down and sent something he goes and speaks to LaRaza. Let them support his campaign. The Senator can take up a collection at the Maricopa County Jail and Arizona State Prison. Quite a few of his "God's Children" are there at the moment. Does the Senator realize he is fuera de La Raza? That means he gets nothing/nada.
But with all that reaching across the isle maybe the Democrats will stand up and help. Nada?

I work with a very conservative mexican lady. She gave me a one peso coin to send to McAmnesty!

Bet she was laughing at you for screwing with the only candidate who has vowed to control the border. "Here's your peso, thanks helping to elect someone who is truly open borders."

#37- You missed the point. Obama will not fight liberal policies but Republicans will, not out of conservative principles, but because they want power. McCain will finish the job Bush started of forever emasculating the GOP from ever fighting the conservative fight again.

Your sets of points are self-contradictory. If, God forbid, Obama is elected he will have a democrat House and a democrat Senate who be sending him criminally insane legislation and any threat of republican filibustering or obstruction in any way will be useless because Barack will gleefully sign whatever they send; including gigantic entitlement programs which will become like social security, you will not be able to take them away. These nanny-state programs will get people addicted to a huge government which will take away more and more freedom by virtue of its growth.

If McCain gets in he will have no incentive to cooperate with a democrat congress and the few republicans left (hopefully there will be enough) can exert a measure of control over the budget which hasn't been balanced in years and which McCain has promised to do.

In so far as "forever emasculating the GOP from ever fighting the conservative fight again" you do not gain influence by losing elections. Simply hoping for the democrats to make a mess so you can blame it on them isn't good for the country and wont work anyway. (The democratic congress has record low approval ratings and obama has proven himself to be an inveterate liar and dangerous incompetent and guess what: the press and the democratic base do not care. They are going to lie for/vote for them anyway.)

Indeed, I believe it is imperative for conservatives for McCain to win this. It will demonstrate that despite the democratic advantages of a <strike>education</strike> indoctrination system, complete control of the media, lavish funding by evil Hungarian billionaires, Bush screwing the pooch, etc, that the country does not want to take the path that they are cramming down our throat. If they win, It will set back conservatism for decades because of the changes they will make to solidify their power.

#38- I'm not sure what the "lie" is. Wasting a vote on McCain on the prayer that he will act like a conservative? Or that conservatism stands a better chance without a reach-across-the-aisle RINO at the helm?

Frank,

Of course, we dont want to count the logical conclusion that people who dont give to mccain and likewise for obama has nothing to do with them being cheap, but maybe that they dont really support either candidate and see them both equally as a problem.

I look at it this way. There are 2 places on my way home in the afternoon that serve a particular type of soda concoction i prefer. I dislike both because they hire illegals and one of them has less than perfect customer service.

As a result, i do one of 2 things. I either come home and drink something else, or go out of my way a couple of miles to another location. The moral of the story is, I dont support or patronize places that I don't like. It would be like going a few times a week to a restaurant you absolutely hate, but go and eat there for no reason anyway. Same principle at play here.

If McCain wins, there will be no opposition to liberal policies. At least with Obama, there will be a fight.
McCain = Game Over
Do not waste your vote.
That is, of course, a lie.

If Obama wins he will simply sign every crazy, dishonorable, destructive, socialist piece of legislation that Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Ted Kennedy send him. Opposition? The only opposition from Obama will be that they are not crazy, dishonorable, destructive, and socialist enough.

"Looks like House Republicans are doing what a lot of grass-roots conservatives are doing–or rather not doing: Not giving John McCain cash. "

Translation:

See kids, don't give Mc Shamnasty(TM) cash, 'kuz you is "conservatives" and somehow not "Americans" therefore it's OK of Obama runs the country in to the ground and surrenders to the islamists who want us destroyed.

Meanwhile:

"The presidential campaign for Democrat Barack Obama reported Thursday it raised 52 million dollars in June"

Thats right kids, we are "conservatives" and that's why it is somehow OK to sit back and elect the most <strike>liberal</strike> socialist senator in US history.

And I will not respond to McCain's request for cash or a vote. He has burned all his bridges with conservatives and the House members know it.
