If you want to stir the pot, ask Bob Barr why he favored the prosecution of COL Alan West.
If you want to stir the pot ask Odumbo if he’s still smoking it.
Good morning, Michelle. I haven’t posted in quite a long time but I read your posts everyday. Thanks for all that you do in exposing the looney left. Have a great time in Austin!
Seriously, Only The Left Would Think Any Differently! — US Has Highest Cancer Survival Rates — Money Made The Difference!

Morning Michelle. Just sipping my coffee and perusing articles about illegal immigration, modern day indentured servitude, and H1 and L1 visas. Have a good day.
Bob Barr is going to be there?
A question I would ask him is why does he want to be the republican Ralph Nader and draw votes away from the the republican candidate that benefits the democrat.
Helping Barack Obama is hardly what I would categorize as being part of ‘Defending the American Dream.’
Die Hippie, Die:
Is this true? Dammit, I am just going to stay home on election day. This really sucks.
Good morning Michelle, and everyone else. I’m getting ready to teach the kids violin and viola, and deal with a cranky sleep-deprived teething baby. Hope you have a nice time down there!
Feel your pain for the H.O.T.
But look on the bright side road kill in Austin is BBQ’ed and ready to eat 15 minutes after its been clobbered.
It looks like Obama just miracled himself over to Kabul. Reports have him sighted there in the company of two other Senators.
Now, if he is also spotted in the US at the same time, the Dems just might make him a saint…
To paraphrase Mark Twain: The hottest summer I ever spent was the week I spent in Texas!
And the humidity when I was there… wow.
Michelle, I’m looking forward to hearing you speak in Austin today!
Here’s a post everyone might like to read…then be sure to check out the comments on th linked WSJ article.
Hey, Michelle. Why are you only listed as “Michelle Malkin, Author and Blogger?”
You’re just as much as “Syndicated Columnist” as Robert Novak.
Rob A Subway…Get Shot in the Head and Die…oops. Marines, no better friend, no worse enemy!
Good morning Michelle …
Well this is just fine. They have completed the E-10 everywhere all the time in my neck of the woods. My mileage dropped from a nice comfy of 30.5 mpg constant speed flat highway, to 27.5 same road same speed. In city average also went down from 18.4 to 17.2 mpg.
Sure helps when premium gas sells for about $4.50 a gallon here.
Don’t you just love it when Congress, and the regulations they hoist on the unsuspecting populace, are just trying to help you out.
Last year the introduction of ultra low sulphur diesel dropped my mileage by about the same, 7% on average. Diesel which used to be 5% less than regular unleaded, is now about 18-20% more costly.
And you wonder why food is going up.
If, as the MSM claims, people are having to cut-back on essentials like food and medicine to pay for gas, then how are so many movie-goers able to afford non-essentials like tickets to see the new “Batman” film?
I understand it’s setting box office records for an opening night, which doesn’t jive with the MSM’s exaggerated portrayal of our so-called economic “recession.”
zeroangel:
WND has the story here.
Wrongful death suit filed in fatal crash involving illegal immigrant. This will be interesting to see what happens. And, they are going after the employer. I hope they get every penny.
It appears that the illegal’s employer had been indicted March 19 for transporting illegal immigrants. That was two months before the fatal accident that claimed two people. They should have examined every employee at that company and shipped them back to their country of origin that very day. Had that happened, those two people would be alive today.
I have an uplifting story for everyone.
My 13 year old nephew and godson was in the Little Sioux Boy Scout Ranch Tornado. He was in the tornado shelter that was not damaged at all so he was fine. Shortly before he went to the camp I sent him the paperback version of Marcus Luttrell’s Lone Survivor.
He might have been a little bit young for the book, but he’s a pretty mature 13 yr old and his parents said it was okay. He took it to the camp with him to read that week. A few days after the Tornado my sister emailed me asking where she could get another one as she didn’t think they would get anything back from the camp and likely all is ruined. When they got to go look through the things from the camp and claim anything salvageable, there was the book, in PERFECT condition she said!
Also, President Bush is a big fan of the boy scouts and he is hosting the Boy Scouts from the Little Sioux disaster and the families of the 4 that died, at the White House in the Rose Garden later this month.
What’s a Conservative to do this election? We have a left of center Democrat and a True Socialist ™ running for the Presidency. What to do?
What’s a Conservative to do this election? We have a left of center Democrat and a True Socialist ™ running for the Presidency. What to do?
Am no fan of McCain but describing him as a left of center democrat is not really fair. Furthermore it is likely to get the real trouble elected. Given a Democrat controlled house and senate and a marxist President…well if Obama wins we will not come back from it.
Anyone who thinks that Obama won’t dramatically change the rules of the poltics in this country is delusional. And those rules will guarantee that Conservatives will never see another majority.
I agree. As HORRIBLE as McAmnesty is, he is better than the Obamasiah.
well, I was tempted to write in Bozo the Clown until he died.
McCain 08 for me, Odumbo would be a disaster of monumental proportions.
What to do?
How about you start by not lying about who John McCain is.
That is what the left is doing right now, and we should be better than this.
Michelle, thanks for being you. You are the wind in the sails of this forum.
Die Hippie, Die:
Par for the course I suppose.
On the one hand I have McCain who shares my views on the war and very little else.
On the other hand I have Barr, whom I agree with on many things except the one glaring example of the war.
Tough choice, but then, since I live in NJ, I’m not sure it’ll matter anyways. I might just stay home and play video games.
This is not the year for trivial morality plays by conservatives who feel slighted. If Obama wins we won’t need to worry about coming back because it will be impossible. It would not be inconcievable that much of what we believe in would be labeled hate speech.
Obama is the most dangerous politicians to run for office since FDR.
Vote for the open-borders, keep ANWR pristine, global-warming’s-gonna-get-your-mamma, arrogant, loath the Republican base, hate the free market, fumble-mouth of your choice.
But vote.
With the image of Ronald Reagan at top left of the Defending the American Dream summit webpage and the theme…
I am reminded of President Reagan’s words “America is too great for small dreams.”
Can’t wait to hear all about the summit Michelle, dream great dreams.
Many like to throw around the fact they are tired of voting for the LOTE … I can completely understand their feeling that way … the choices have not been especially good for a number of years …
In truth … most of the time the range of differences in the candidates was relatively minimal overall …
however … this time the range of differences in candidates is truly monumental …
The choice this time isn’t LOTE …
The choice is America or NO America …
What is the latest on Obama’s Global poverty act? I know it’s up for vote in the senate, but I’ve heard nothing new. I really hate the fact that they’re trying to use a voice vote as they did in the House
http://www.capmag.com/article.asp?ID=5152
Vote for the open-borders, keep ANWR pristine, global-warming’s-gonna-get-your-mamma, arrogant, loath the Republican base, hate the free market, fumble-mouth of your choice.
Yes absolutely, get pounded drunk and vote for McCain. Then if he wins get right to work insuring that this doesn’t happen again. But at least you will have the chance to fight again.
Obama win means the end. I truly believe Obama means to totally transform the politican scene into one where the left cannot lose again. Watch the left’s tactics as a minority…we are in truly dangerous days.
ABSOLUTELY! And with nbc news and the rest of the chumps in the MSM, clearing the way.
Much as I am not a fan of Austin, I’d certainly like to be there today. Kind of. 54 degrees here in Salinas, Ca. Which beats what it was in the Mojave yesterday. Please Lord, let me get loaded and get me out of the Peoples Republik of Kalifornia.
Die Hippy, Die that is one of the most outrageous things I have ever heard. Too bad Barr’s family was not the ones he saved by ‘torture’, Barr might feel differently about the whole thing. I am so proud of our military, great men and women doing a thankless task. I am one who thanks them.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE. Either you want to win or you don’t, war isn’t a game of rules anymore, play to win or don’t play.
Howdy! and welcome to Austin! Be sure to go to Chuy’s for some TexMex and then go over to Zilker Park and the hillside theater this evening for a nice performance of “Beauty And The Beast.” Its free. Nice musical and a night out on a blanket. Starts at 8:30 but get there early.
mngirl, so glad to hear your nephew survived that disaster. Boy Scouts are a great group of kids and need to be supported by the folks. Give him a hug from me.
I wish I could believe that. I certainly hope it is true. But I think people need to understand and evaluate the next four years from several perspectives. This situation will be appalling whoever wins. But who will get the blame, come 2012? That is the crucial question for the future.
Presuming a McCain administration, every disaster over the next four years, and there will be a lot of them, will be blamed on the Right or more properly Right-wing positions: capitalism, strong defense of America, rule of law, etc. Come 2012, there won’t be a republican left. We are almost at that point now.
There is no question in my mind, in the mind of any rational human being, that Obama will be a catastrophe. But it will fall on the heads of the Democrats. That is the only hope I have for the future.
Global poverty is NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY.PERIOD.
Throwing money down a rat hole is foolish.Third World nations are
Third World from their actions,
not OURS. Social engineering should
not be a part of US Foreign or Domestic Policy.
Obama is a Marxist and redistribution of wealth is not to be found within the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution. Just a reminder, Vladimir Lenin was a Community Organizer too.
Nobama, thank you!
Barr’s just a tunnel-visioned lawyer with a slightly skewed perspective.
What do you mean hot? It’s only supposed to get up to 97 – not even into the triple digits!!
Wish I would have known about this event sooner, but alas I’ll be out mowing the lawn on this nice, balmy day.
Presuming a McCain administration, every disaster over the next four years, and there will be a lot of them, will be blamed on the Right or more properly Right-wing positions: capitalism, strong defense of America, rule of law, etc. Come 2012, there won’t be a republican left. Sorry but your imagining that all the disasters that will occur during Obamamessiahs reign will not be blamed on the Right Wing. You might want to review the history of the Communist party to see who they blamed for all the crop failures.
Furthermore imagining that there will be less disasters under Obama is just a little worrisome to me. There will be many more disasters and all of them will be blamed on the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy…except we will have someone in power with the desire and morals to do something about it…Obama and the left will take care to make sure right wing can never hurt the country again.
Folks need to stop imagining that the left means them no harm.
Good Morning! Today I’m going to go help spur the Michigan economy and do some shopping
I am suffering in a Nation run primarily by lawyers. And run very badly I might add.
About 60% of our senators and roughly 36% of the house have law degrees. Lawyers make up about 1% of our population. I’d say we are not being adequately represented.
The biggest reason for term limits folks.
I don’t know who would be doing that imagining. It won’t be me. The disasters under Obama will be so bad and so many that the democrats usual routine of “It’s not our fault! Look under the bed for those evil rightwingers!” will break down. Sure the Dems will try to do that. With every trick and weapon at their disposal. But I am mostly confident they won’t succeed. Which is to say come 2012 under an Obama administration things will be really bad. Hyperinflation? Nuked cities? Your horrible guess is as good as mine.
But that is the choice we face. I’m desperate to be proved wrong.
Don’t stay home. Write someone in if you have to. Fred Thompson? Ron Paul? Michelle Malkin? But don’t stay home.
Lordy, what a year for me to cast my first-ever vote for President.
Lefty
And don’t forget a Barbecue Lunch at “Iron Works” …
OT: Myth of Consensus Explodes: APS opens debate on gorebull warming
….Just returned to NJ(boohoo) from a great two week trip to Utah. It was a working/pleasure trip as the second group from my family has relocated there. Spent alot of time unloading furniture and boxes, hanging pictures etc. Pleasure; Timpanogos Cave National Monument and Bryce Canyon…..awesome!
My plans are full speed ahead on escaping the “Socialist Republic of NJ” and relocating my piece of the family to UT….. I love it out there, hot days 90s but very low humidity, cool nights, nice friendly people(Mormon and Non-Mormom alike), great service people in stores(H. Depot, Sears, restaurants, etc), some of the best skiing in the world, likewise hiking, booming area(10 pages of classified jobs) in Sunday paper, low property taxes(around $1500.00 on a $300K house). Republican dominated town and state governments.
I kinda tuned out the internet, newspapers and TV while out there and felt very refreshed.
For 54 degrees it might be worth taking a trip to CA. Today in San Antonio it should be 99. Wish I had known about Austin.
Only going to be 107 here in Phoenix today …
…says “DesertLover” with a maniacal laugh.
111* here, send water ….stat.
I agree. In addition, here is a link to watch.

This just In!
EPA is alarmed by “enteric fermentation in domestic livestock”. In other words, Cow Farts. A farm with over 25 cows would exceed the EPA’s proposed carbon limits.
Your Lawnmower may be an enemy of the state.

Why settle for the lesser of two evils?
http://www.theelderparty.com/
I have energy on my mind. Al Gore’s hatred of fossil fuels. Pelosi et al’s refusal to drill. Just read T Boone Picken’s interview on energy policy — not a mention of the word “nuclear” anywhere.
We MUST make good use of nuclear, oil, coal, and gas, here in the US. It may take years to develop some new oil fields, but it will take decades to develop alternatives to the good old 4 mentioned above. I’ll stake our future to nuclear energy, not to a bunch of windmills dotting the landscape in a perverted Christo-esque Broadway extravaganza.
Why is Bob Barr getting so much attention among conservatives. Perhaps conservatives should look at the Libertarian Party’s platform. Pro abortion, pro same-sex marriage, pro open borders, etc, etc. Libertarians try to spin this fact, but go to their web site and see the policies that they support.
Is this conservatism?
Chuck Baldwin, running on the Constitution Party platform, supports conservative values. No spin.
The guys mowing my lawn are probably illegal, so I feel safe in knowing the law won’t come near my house.
find legal ones you say, ahahahahahahha
good freaking luck in the coachella valley.
Let’s try this again:
Regarding the opposition’s quest for absolute control and power, here is a link to watch:
http://www.nationalpopularvote.com/index.php
tc2011:
Fred Thompson sounds good, or if I am going to do a write-in, hell I’ll just vote for myself.
cactusjoe:
Well, because many registered “moderate” Republicans who are fiercely conservative on many issues are also socially liberal on many others.
Also, McCain sucks.
That was uplifting, the finding of the book AND another example of how President Bush continues to show his respect and admiration of his fellow citizens.
Your nephew’s parents are to be commended for encouraging their son to be involved in such a great org. as the Scouts.
I will miss this blog and all on it in a terrible way.If BHO is elected with a Dem congress,it will be gone. You can bet on it.Mc Cain is what we have and I am sticking by him, good or bad.You can’t tell anyone anything or what to do so I don’t even try, but I can suggest.
Most liberal (sorry…progressive) power is in the big cities. Here in Utah our congressman has his power base in downtown Salt Lake City, but he also represents many rural counties. It is the same in Nevada with Harry Reid and Las Vegas.
Going to the popular vote would allow liberals (sorry…socialists) to keep their power base and rule the lives of the fly-over states.
Go to Col. Ralph Peters’ column in the opinion section of today’s New York Post. He describes our victory over Al-Qaeda. Yes, victory. Osama and company are now pretty much confined to Pakistan, with just about every other Muslim country having yanked the welcome mat from them. The fighting in Afghanistan is their last struggle for survival, according to Col. Peters.
Here’s my thinking. McCain is not my choice to be a GOP canidate for Pres., however, he had to get the votes from somewhere. Since the powers to be knew that he was not liked or wasn’t a conservative, then how did he make it as a candidate? Since the so called majority brought it on themselves, I do not feel guilty at all if he loses, even if I stay at home. Those that want McCain should not blame those that do not want McCain if they decide to stay at home because that should have been thought of before McCain became a candidate. Does the GOP really think that true conservatives would fall in lock step with their way of thinking and vote for the worst of two evils. So I say, since the gamble was taken with McCain then let the chips fall where they may come election day. No matter who wins the U.S. will still be here. It may not be the same but it has been changing for the worse since I was born. I do not have the freedoms that I once had as a child. Most of my freedoms have been taken away by unconstitutional laws, criminals in Congress, voter fraud and taxes, and if voters keep on voting for the worst of two evils all the time then they will end up at the same place except it will just take a little longer. I say start voting everyone out and try and start over in some form. Get involved in changing what is taught in schools, get rid of the connection between the U.S. schools and the U.N. telling U.S. schools what to and how to teach. Get involved with watching out for voter fraud and reporting all irregularies. Maybe in this way the U.S. can be turned around and be the true U.S. that it is suppose to be. One thing that can be done and should be done is to recall or somehow get that woman that falls to sleep all the time at the bench while listening at the Supreme Court off the bench.
Don’t stay home. Write someone in if you have to. Fred Thompson? Ron Paul? Michelle Malkin? But don’t stay home.
No don’t stay home write in someone that will insure that Obama gets into office. Write in someone that insures that a party which is completely irresponsible has complete control of the government. Write in someone that guarantees Obama and the Democrats can kill this dream we call the United States of America because that is exactly what they intend to do. FDR and his ilk transformed the country, Obama and his ilk will be just as tranformative…and they don’t have any good plans for us.
It is really flabbergasting to me that folks are so out of touch with politics they imagine that there isn’t much difference between Obama and McCain.
On the central issue of our time, our war with Islam, there is a gulf as wide as can be. One will surrender and the other will not…one has no guts and the other has proved his toughness and courage in circumstances beyond our imagining. On the issue of strengthing our military, one will cut spending the other has been for vastly increased spending for a while. Even on the issue of Immigration there is a gulf. On the issue of taxes one will vastly increase taxes the other will not. My goodness folks…I have been as petulant as any regarding McCain winning the nomination…but I understand the stakes if he fails in November.
I do not plan on staging any little petty protest votes this November, my country is more dear to me than my petulance. And I have a lot of petulance…see here for a sample.
While the Base is Fighting an Existential Battle to Protect Civilization from Murderous Islamic Maniacs and the Moonbat Left, the Republican Party is handing out stuffed animals to Raise Money…okey dokey.
Spent my ride home from getting a haircut thinking about the advantages of moving my family to Australia. It would be hard, but if by some miracle McCain wins the blacks in this country will riot. The majority of blacks are racists and if Obama loses fair and square they will go crazy. The majority of them thought OJ was not guilty, and even if he was, he deserved to get away with it. If all the whites voted for one candidate the way the blacks are going to do in this election you would certainly think Hitler were coming to power.
And then if Obama wins, everything we love about this country changes. Australia looks better and better.
Iraqi PM al-Maliki favors Obama’s 16-month withdrawal plan. Smooth move Ex-Lax. Talk about a slap in the face to the administration, and all others who favored (ie McCain) protecting Iraq.
I’ve thought about the rioting too. New Zealand was my dream.
But, we’ll worry about rioting every time a black runs for President or goes to court or whatever. We’re not hostages.
It would be hard, but if by some miracle McCain wins the blacks in this country will riot. The majority of blacks are racists and if Obama loses fair and square they will go crazy
Yup…agree completely but I ain’t going nowhere. This is MY country. Am willing to fight for it.
mytake, Is not Australia is in the same situation as the United States? There are many, many places in the U.S. where people who share conservative values live.
I do not believe that most blacks are racists. I kinda think that most “folks just want to get along and be left along to live and raise their families in their own traditions. And, as C.S. Lewis pointed out, most traditions tend to follow conservative principles.
But, I could be wrong.
If Obama secures the Presidency the U.S.A will be in great peril in 2012, we will have a Dimocrap Pres. and a Dimocrap Congress. If I’m not mistaken from last count 72 members of Congress are members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus which is associated with the Democratic Socialist of America which took their members list down to those who were not members and is associated with the International Socialist Orginazation and that’s not all, many of the members of the Congressional Black Caucus are members of the above also. Since 1917, the begining of the U.S.S.R and Lenins iron hand rule the socialist have been in America attempting to infiltrate and assault the U.S. Republic in all walks of Politics, Hollywood etc…. that is 91 years out of 232 years, Joe McCarthy saw the danger and attempted to do something about it, although I believe he went at it in the wrong way, Ronald Reagan also saw the danger when he was the President of the Screen Actor’s Guild in 1947 and later as the POTUS. The fact is the U.S.A. has been under assault for almost half of it’s existence and has up until now, thwarted the attempt’s of forming a socialist state, whom ever made the statement “A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.” was talking about socialism and if we look today that is exactly where we are headed. I have written about this before and put endless links up to no avail but now I hear many of you talking of the very thing I have been warning people about for many years, now some of them who disagreed at the time are now seeing the light, the American Way of life has been slowly chipped away at for 91 years, the middle class has been and is slowly being manipulated into becoming the lower class, it won’t be long until the final blow is struck to make it all crumble before our very eyes, I believe we are at that crucial moment in history that we may see our Republic crumble into oblivion. Make your choices carefully, Our Republic depends on it.
I just saw the Dark Night last night. It’s lives up to the hype, and is easily the best Super Hero movie I’ve ever seen. 4 Stars.
The late, great Heath Ledger also lives up to the hype. He created an iconic villain for the ages, right up there with Harry Lime and Hannibal Lecter. Hell, it may be the greatest movie villain ever.
Heath Ledger really caught my eye in a small role in Monster’s Ball. He did brilliant work in Brokeback Mountain, where he created one of the most complex and amazing characters I’ve ever seen. Heath was in his mid 20’s when he made Brokeback. The young man had a certain genius inside of him. His Joker character will forever stay with you.
It’s a shame that Heath’s self-destructive tendencies went overboard in real life. He left friends, and family, including a daughter. Thank goodness for recorded images, so that we can enjoy this man’s art whenever we feel compelled to see true greatness at work.
I guess I will have to contribute to Colonel West’s campaign. He did exactly what an officer is suppose to do: Complete the mission and protect his people.
We are paying a terrible price to be “liked” by people who never will. The Viet Nam syndrom seems to be affecting a large number of people who were not there.
Bob Barr could have and should have kept his mouth shut.
Lawyer? That explains a lot.
Cthulhu/Hastur ‘08!
The US is the last country on earth with free speech and gun rights – tenuous as they may be. Stay here and keep on fighting. A move to Australia is a step backwards. You have no free speech (they have hate speech crimes) and no gun rights.
mytake#70@12:42PM
Australia and New Zealand are having their own problems with muslims, caving in one inch at a time on sharia law. Besides, we need all the patriots we have and can influence. There are still parts of our country you don’t have to worry about riots or high crime, with clean water/air, great schools and reasonable living expenses.
Michelle, I love Texas but decided some time ago I couldn’t endure another summer there. That said, it’s all I talk about when not there….to the point people roll their eyes. Have a great time. “How ya’ll doin” and “fixin to” will forever be a part of your vocabulary.
It’s been so hot here that many homeowners can’t water enough to keep the grass growing. Dormant lawns mean no need to cut it. Landscapers along with their illegals are not seen as much. The roads are less crowded so when I do go out I have better gas mileage. Just doing our part to conserve and cut those carbon emmissions. Gore would be proud.
I’m going to finish watching John Adams tonight. Man, do we ever need the Spirit of 76…
I’d love to get one of those flags designed by Benjamin Franklin…
“Join or Die”…
KFC now open for business in Fallujah!!
Thank you – our troops!
Thank you for the reminder of Barr ie;- Allen West…
West is on my list of honorable people to support – nation-wide…
Barr-because of his quick mouth concerning West- is not….
atheling–you are soo ooo right-we must stay and fight!
“Join or Die”…perhaps one of the graphic artists on this blog could design one for us.
No need to design it. B. Franklin already did.
what’s on my mind?…PAAAH-LEEENTY:
gay marriage: seeing as I reside in the once great state of California, let me toss this out there, how is this issue not the State meddling with the Church?
Furthermore, if marriage is representative of the Church (and I agree it is), then isn’t it odd to the nth degree that the gay community is clamouring to be part of it? Wouldn’t getting married be a way that the gays are conforming to family values and all that Christianity represents? After all, California already has laws in place allowing for the same rights to “partners” as husbands and wives…
While I amm probably the first person in my neighborhood to admit that California needs some serious changes, it was easy to feel blessed this morning while I was running on the singletrack along the ridge with only the small rabbits, deer and the occasional coyote for company. The trail head is a 10 minute run from my front door. Finishing my run, I gave thanks to God for his blessings.
Hey y’all!
I have not posted in a while but I wanted to say “HEY” to all of you. I do read Michelle’s posts every day to get the real story rather than rely on MSM.
It is a hot day here in Cincinnati, I am trying to get some things done around the house and staying cool.
Have a great Saturday!
This is the only place I could find to buy that flag I gotta get one too.
Join Or Die Flag
I am reading the Declaration of Independence again, and am struck by the list of grievances against the British king that are listed therein:
Does not our Congress and President refuse to comply with our laws regarding the border and illegals?
Does not our Congress play this game?
Congress is guilty of this as well.
Welfare state, tax burdens…
Supreme Court tyranny.
‘Nuff said.
No need to elaborate here.
Illegals.
Dems dirty games during elections…
Do we not see the tyranny here?
Thanks, Blind Mule. I’m getting one too.
No thank you I get a different flag every year since I put my pole in my front yard.
Your post on the Declaration, is a perfect example of why another revolution is in order.
Good afternoon from Virginia!
Not sure if anyone has commented on this today, soooo…
San Francisco is balloting the new sewage plant to be named after President Bush, and doing it certainly to ridicule and humiliate him.
However, I have a suggestion for the President…that he attend the ceremony naming and opening the new plant. He can give a short speech thanking the people of San Francisco for the honor being bestowed on him as the namesake for such a fine utility and then stand tall for the follow-on photo op with city officials and the plant’s employees.
What could San Fran Nan and her city say then?
Nothing. Not a damned thing!
This is the Flag I fly next to the Stars and Stripes.I have a print of the Continental Army marching with this flag so I thought I would join the parade.
I like that one too. I also would like the Liberty or Death flag.
Add this to our troop’s win in Fallujah:
http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2008/07/finger-licking-victory-kfc-opens-in.html
Thank you atheling and Blind_Mule for the links to purchase the “freedom” flags.
The simple (yet will require a serious uprising to acheive) answer is TERM LIMITS
ArizonaNeanderthal, I knew West when he was a Captain. He earned my respect then and has it now!
I have not seen him over the last 5 years as I retired from the Army but a vote for him is the right thing for the Nation.
He served well and he is needed to serve again in Congress. We have too few of men of his character. He is an honest man and he can be trusted. I will personally vouch for him.
LTC West is a man that deserves our help in getting him the exposure he needs to become a household name. I pulled his YouTube video some time ago and sent it out to everyone in my address book. McCain could do much worse (and I’m afraid he will) in choosing a VP. His broader views and insight into what this country needs would garner far more votes than people realize. Besides, wouldn’t it be comforting to know he would be next in line for the presidency should something happen down the road?
