Thanks San Francisco! More of their sanctuary-seeking illegal-alien drug dealers abscond
You might be getting sick of that neon-sign graphic on the front page, but the story of San Fran’s municipal illegal-alien-crack-dealer shuttle service just keeps on rolling on:
Three more juvenile illegal immigrant drug dealers sent by San Francisco to group homes hundreds of miles from the city have escaped, prompting juvenile probation officials to seek to bring back the only youth remaining at such a center….
The three were among the offenders previously protected from possible deportation under a long-standing city policy against handing over illegal immigrant juveniles to federal authorities, even those convicted of felonies.
Chronicle stories about the policy prompted a national outcry, and Mayor Gavin Newsom rescinded it earlier this month. The city has since referred at least 10 juvenile offenders to the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency for possible deportation.
I think San Francisco Mayor (and gubernatorial candidate) Gavin Newsom is a little bit tired of this story too:
“In many respects, this is a consequence of the policy change,” Newom said. “It goes without saying, there is an arrest warrant out.
“Enough is enough,” Newsom said.
Indeed it is, Mr. Mayor. Indeed it is.
By the way, just to point out the obvious, the policy change didn’t make those guys take it on the lam from the honor farm. They’re running free today because they were given sanctuary, and sheltered from ICE, by the City of San Francisco.

This is like an illegal alien shell game. Newsom and SF are the ones running it and the Federal Government/US taxpayers are the “marks”.
Who is the likely Republican candidate for governor running against this weasel? Whoever it is, I hope they hammer him with these idiotic examples of really bad judgment and leadership.
Salt Lake City, the liberal Mecca of Utah, isn’t much better than San Francisco. On July 6th, a 7-year-old girl, Maria Del Carmen Menchaca, was shot and killed while she played on a sidewalk in her Salt Lake City neighborhood. Frank Benavidez, 20, was arrested and booked into the Salt Lake County jail on suspicion of first-degree homicide.
I had to dig to find any details about this case because the local MSM have reported very little about it. This guy, Benavidez, was convicted of three felony counts in June of 2006 and was ordered deported. “However, Benavidez never left Salt Lake City, and fell through the cracks.”
Benavidez was charged again in October 2006 with aggravated kidnapping, robbery and assault. He attacked a woman and stole her purse after she arrived at the parking lot of her apartment complex, according to court documents. The woman fought free after Benavidez grabbed her, but he knocked her down, punched her in the face, and grabbed her purse. He escaped with the help of Jesus. (Jesus Jimenez drove the getaway car.)
That case was dismissed two months later because prosecutors were unable to locate the victim. They cut him loose even though a Judge had ordered him deported and had issued a $25,000 bench warrant in case he did return. Doesn’t it make you glad their looking out for you?
His buddy, Jesus, was convicted in June 2008 of murder for driving the getaway car following the August 2007 shooting death of Glendale hairdresser Faviola Hernandez. And now Frank Benavidez has killed a 7-year-old who was just playing in front of her house.
Sanctuary mentality has grave consequences.
Perhaps we’re the ones deserving of sanctuary from the liberally expanding government mess?
ALL Federal $$$$ (My taxes and yours) must be withheld from the traitor city of San Fran.-now!!!

Can’t these politicians who provide aid and sanctuary to the illegal alien invaders be arrested? What they are doing IS contrary to federal law, isn’t it?

THere is hope… since the exposure by the SF Chronicle it appears that most public support for this long time SF policy is shifting. I hope Gavin Newsome does the right thing and ends these policies.
San Francisco is doig about as much for the U.S. legal system as Al Capone, great job San Fran. While you are at it why don’t you set Charles Manson free?

Why the outcry? This is what America Voted For [!!!] when they placed the democrats in power, and they will vote for more of the same in a few short months. Whining about it will produce not – a – thing.

How many dead bodies have to pile up before the laws get enforced? Why bother to collect taxes to pay for police if they only are there to catch speeders? WHY ARE ILLEGALS SO DARN IMPORTANT TO THIS NATION THAT THE REST OF US HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THIS NONSENCE HAPPENING DAY AFTER DAY? Maybe if elected officials were being shot instead of 7 year olds, our laws would be enforced.
Why all the illegals and congressional opposition to removing them. Look around, any construction site, meat packing plant, fast food resturant, or hotel/motel. The hispanic immigrants are everywhere. This relates to money in small and large businesses, which is money in the congressional coffers, which is the oil of congressional decision making.
Why pick on San Francisco? After all, it gave us Pelosi and Fienstien.

Congress is in for a rude awakening. How much time did congress waste on investigating steroid use in baseball? These morons are as useless as the UN. The only difference is that the UN can’t increase our taxes. This economy is going to drive out many illegals. The santuary city next to me has fewer latinos walking around and more for rent signs on apartments. Any business who catered to spanish speakers drove out the rest of us and I don’t plan on going back when the illegals are gone!
Everyone should contact their respective state reps and call on them to implement the laws that Oklahoma and Arizona implemented if the feds do not want to do their jobs, then it up to the states to do it for them. States should also revoke any state or federal funding to any cities that want to be a sancturary for illegal aliens.
It’s amazing that if this kids were born and raised here (citizens), they would be in jail until age 21, maybe then transfered to an adult prison. But, being they are illegal, they get a “pass” to a “group home”(!?!). The politicians we have are terrible. I think, for the 1st time, I am not voting for either major party, and will vote for the Constitution Party. May not be worth anything, but my conscience will be clear.

New topic – I’m in Southeast Texas (Texas City, to be exacty) and I’m noticing more and more signs in Spanish first, English second around here. I really think we’ve lost.
Chances are, the Republican running against Newsom or whoever (Moonbeam wants his old job back, and don’t count out Villaraigosa) will be too timid to say something that might offend Hispanic voters. Remember, the party now is in the hands of Ahnuld “Flip-Flopping is Great!” Schwarzenkennedy.
It appears Newsom has reversed course and SF is now submitting teen criminals to ICE… no news yet on adult criminals.
BTW It appears the the SF Sheriff reported the criminal sheltered in the SF Juvenile system to ICE but they said let him go so lets put the SAME amount of pressure to fix the this issue on the FEDERAL side as well.
