Cliff Notes version of Obama press conference in Jordan

By Michelle Malkin  •  July 22, 2008 11:10 AM

1. “Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh.”

2. As commander-in-chief, er, rather, when I’m commander-in-chief…

3. The surge I opposed is working.

4. The architect of the surge, Gen. David Petraeus, is going to waste money on electricity projects, so I must be there to stop him.

5. “Ummmmmm.”

6. Now, stop asking me questions and take pictures.

And 7. “Israel is a strong friend of Israel.” (I missed this one, but commenter Jim M. and other readers report that Obama actually said this. Gaffe-tastic!)

The Tour de Farce continues…

Even though they are absolutely the worst Congress evah they still have Bush to blame for all their failings. With Obama in the WH they will have to take responsibility for their lack of…well, lack of everything.

Take responsibility? What was I thinking? We are talking about Democrats here. I think they can still get away with blaming Bush for another 4 years or so because the MSM and the American Idol watching public will let them.

I also have to wonder… how did this guy, who confuses the number of states in the union with a Heinz steak sauce and can’t figure out whether a presidential term is 4 or 5 years, even get into Harvard Law? And how did he get out with a J.D.?

His law school background reeks of “diversity” over “qualifications.”

Also, has anyone else noticed how nobody has been tracking down Hopenchange’s former law school classmates and professors to ask them about his days there?

Has anyone else noticed the utter lack of media curiosity in his law school GPA or his class rank?

Has anyone ever wondered why somebody with a law degree from Harvard ended up doing “community organizing?”

At my law school, I saw firsthand the effects of academia’s worship of “diversity” (a.k.a., “We need more black people”). Otherwise unqualified racial minority students were not only admitted, but were shepherded through the system with special tutoring programs that white guys like me were ineligible for. It was a sick joke that most everyone tried hard to pretend not to notice.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Senator Hopenchange isn’t the Manchurian Candidate, but the Potemkin Candidate. His entire campaign is based on deceiving the electorate, coupled with the efforts of a partisan media determined not to look behind the false front.

    And so far, it’s working.

Well, looks like the McCain campaign is attempting to muster some fight against Obama in the domestic drilling issue:

Republican presidential nominee John McCain launched a new television ad Monday throwing blame on Democratic rival Barack Obama for high gasoline prices.

The McCain ad points to Obama’s opposition to domestic offshore drilling.

The Arizona Republican wants to make it easier for companies to drill offshore in the face of gasoline prices above the $4 per gallon mark.

Obama has voted against the lifting of offshore restrictions and wants to impose new taxes on oil company profits. That revenue would be given to consumers to help deal with the high prices.

Unfortunately, McCain has been doddering like a senile goat to the great amusement of the Treason Media who will splash his gaffes as proof he’s too old and clueless for the job. This will require Obama’s stumbles and bumbles to be tossed down the Memory Hole in favor of his scripted speeches in front of stadiums for of worshipers, but they’re perfectly willing to do so for the cause.

The images on the evening news will tell the approved tale:

    * Obama is a messianic figure who inspires legions of voters with his articulate words of hope and change.

    * McCain is a old dude who is confused about basic things like borders and countries.

Toss in his unwillingness to stop stabbing conservatives in the back with his enthusiasm for amnesty, curtailing free speech and “freaking out” over mythical global warming hysteria and McCain is a candidate who will only garner votes from two groups: blindly loyal Republicans and those terrified what horrors an Obama regime would visit upon the nation and world.

Combined with his beliefs on “global warming,” futures trading and CEO compensation, BO (that’s Bill O‘Reilly)is rapidly losing credibility with this listener.

I can’t make it through 30 seconds of an Obama presser after he starts dropping “Uuuuuuuuuuuuu” twice into every thought.

Obama ‘08 vs. GW ‘00 “articulation” comparisons are like night and day (racist enough for ya?) A split screen would be very illuminating. If you remember, Gore’s ‘00 hurrumphing-style alone made GW seem like Aristotle.

Someone with the technical skills should make a YouTube video of an older white man giving a speech and put the name Barack Obama with a (R) next to his name in that video clip. Then take Obama’s floundering speeches like this one today and voice them over the video of the older white man talking.

That way you remove all the racist people who are just looking at the color of his skin and take away their party line voting tendencies and force them to see someone they despise visually with the very words of Obama. Would be comedy gold seeing the candidate for what he really is, an empty suit who couldn’t give you anything more than a few talking points and a whole lot of ummmmmmmmmmm without a teleprompter telling him what to say.

Yes, the media and the fawining libtards are all over Obama. Yes, we see that they have already crowned him as the leader.

But believe me, there will be a backlash.

He graduated with honors, both at college and law school. The current President was a C student near the bottom of his class (a C is not average these days).

Without a teleprompter, the guy is a babbling idiot.

His news conference shows actual leadership ability. He gets a question. Rather than giving a moronic stock answer (Bush speciality), he thinks it over and produces something thoughtful. I would rather have a good answer slowly than what Bush produces.

Obama is no leader. He has 300 foreign policy advisors! Can you imagine all the time spent on meetings he would have to go through to get every one’s input? That’s not leadership. That’s polling. And Obama has demonstrated that he does not stand for anything without licking his finger and checking which way the wind is blowing.

    Leadership, my a**.

The urban myth is that Obama has foreign policy experience, or domestic policy experience, or leadership experience, or that he is anything other than a ‘typical Chicago’ politician.
