Michelle Obama is absolutely right. If Senator McCain is elected, he promises to stay in Iraq for as long as it takes to protect “American honor.” This despite elected Iraqi Prime Minister al-Maliki endorsing Senator Obama’s plan to withdraw from Iraq by 2010 (a huge story conspicuously absent from this website).
Staying in Iraq longer than necessary and longer than Iraqis want us there is very dangerous to a 13 year old right now who may end up dying in a war that we shouldn’t be involved in.
I think she was talking about my grown children, they have good jobs right now, but after a few years (4, 8 or 10) of ‘he who must not be named cause he hates criticism’ that prolly won’t be true anymore. My grandson will starve.

Please, al-Maliki’s role is to ask how high when we say jump! No one took his fumbled attempt at playing both sides seriously – except desperate liberals who are craving international acceptance, from any source, of BHO’s laughable resume on international policy and experience.
Obama is also an opponent of school choice. Knowing what I know about the Milwaukee Public School system, and the fact that most recipients of school choice benefits are minorities, I totally see the danger. Bad education, violent schools – but liberals don’t care so long as the teachers’ unions are protected and they keep the kids in a cycle of ignorance and liberal indoctrination.
And if that’s only 2010? Then what? And what if that 13 year old grows up and volunteers to join the military – as is his right and choice as an adult? I recall that the alarmist draft bill was reintroduced by Democrats and Republicans have no intention of reinstituting the draft.
My kids are in danger if Obama’s elected because there isn’t a doubt he’ll strip down our military defenses and make us vulnerable to terrorist attacks.
In the grand scheme of things, I’ll vote for the guy who protects life in the womb (Obama doesn’t), who gives children an opportunity to break the cycle of poverty through education (Obama doesn’t) and who will fight terrorists (Obama won’t).
Just a question – how do you think your beliefs would fair under shari’a law? Specifically gay marriage and abortion. I’m betting it’ll be a whole lot harder to get gay marriage passed under an imam, and Planned Parenthood won’t be opening any new clinics.
How do you justify what’s happen to women, non-Muslims, children and Jews under Islamic treatment as being acceptable in any way, shape or form? Obama will turn a blind eye to their plight – and you’re okay with that?

Children under age 5 are the most likely to die from malaria infection and no other chemical is as effective as DDT in keeping mosquitos out of the dwellings of the people of this zone and thus preventing infection. They can have condoms if they live long enough though.

Qualifying that these 13 year olds actually enlist in the US Military, (probability decreasing) are dispatched to a war zone in a combat capability (probability decreasing further) and actually see action. (probability decreasing even further)
As long as we’re being slightly unscientific here, 4124 total US Military casualties since 3/19/03 divided by average annual rotations over five years (150,000 x 5) comes out to something like: a .005% casualty rate amongst US Military who serve in Iraq.
I haven’t parsed the math, but in relation to a .005% probability: might it not be safer for a 13 year old to grow up to be a combat veteran in Iraq, than to be a black male in Philadelphia or D.C., or a sexually active homosexual in SanFran or NYC?

I assume you have an issue with “mainstream media bias,” but I recommend you read some objective analysis of Obama and McCain’s tax plans.
If you are in the top 2% of earners in America, your taxes will go up. But something tells me that if you’re worried about affording to stay at home, that that’s not the case.
If you’re in the “bottom” 80th percentile…then you will save money.
