He’s Nas. She’s Kelis. They are race-baiting rappers wit’ attitude. And now he’s leading the charge against Fox News Channel’s alleged “racism.”
Rich. Just rich:
New York rapper Nas has joined a protest against FOX News.
Citing what he calls “race baiting” and “Obama smears” by FOX, Nas will join ColorOfChange.org and MoveOn.org to deliver more than 620,000 petition signatures demanding that the network end its “pattern of racist attacks against black Americans,” among them presidential candidate Barack Obama and his wife Michelle.
In a statement to media, Nas, ColorOfChange.org and MoveOn.org announced the petition will be delivered to FOX’s Manhattan offices on July 23 at 2 p.m. ET.
In joining the protest, Nas cites FOX’s portrayal of the Obamas as outsiders, as well as an on-screen graphic referring to Michelle Obama as “Obama’s baby mama” and the confusing of Obama and Osama by a pundit, who joked that they should both be assassinated. In February, Bill O’Reilly talked about a “lynching party” to deal with Michelle Obama.
“FOX poisons the country with racist propaganda and tries to call it news,” Nas said in the statement.
Wait a minute. Portraying the Obamas as outsiders is racist?
Isn’t that how the Obamas want to be portrayed?

Saying “nigger” is not racist, it never has been. The only reason people think it is is because of how the black community reacts when someone says it.
It’s like a kid needing attention. If the kid cries and you give them attention, then any time they want attention, they’ll cry even if nothing is wrong.
The media wants things in neat little boxes. So, they feel a need to censor a word that they claim = racism. Racism is not what you call someone, it is how you treat someone.
Fox is not racist. They have lots of multi-cultural guests on their shows (lots of hot women). Even if they had people on there that used the ‘n-word’ that wouldn’t mean that they were racist (of course it would be bleeped out – though they didn’t see a need to bleep out GD America).
Racism isn’t what you say, it is what you do. If they had all white male panels and guests, then you could call them racist. . . even though they didn’t use the ‘n-word’.

This is all part of the pattern to use race to insulate the Obama campaign. No matter who you are or what your record is, you will be called racist if you question the messiah. I’ve heard of this petition against Fox. A list of particulars would be nice. But that would likely show their charges to be very thin. Blacks can use the N word, but not whites? That only works when blacks see themselves as fundamentally different from whites, you know, as espoused by Sherri and Whoopi on The View. Men and women are different … I accept that. But whites and blacks different? I don’t see that. Hey, I’m as willing as the next guy to entertain some theory of a deeper meaning to racial differences. But let’s hear it then. Don’t be shy.
I don’t know about anyone else but if I don’t know someones name, and they have something written on the back of their shirt, and I need to address them…just saying!
I have a feeling the pages with the 650,000 signatures will supply the washrooms at FoxNews HQ with free toilet paper for months.
I’ve said it before, yet it bears repeating: The easiest and most reliable way to play “Spot-The-Racist” is to look for the people pointing at others and exclaiming, “Racist!”
Racism in America breaks down into three general classes:
1. The surviving old-style “cracker” racists of sausage’s apocryphal telling have largely been driven underground. There aren’t many venues left where people can openly express anti-minority sentiments without being subject to swift, public and vocal condemnation and repudiation.
2. Then there’s the new-style Condescending Racism, a.k.a. “The Soft Bigotry of Low Expectations.” Popular among libs/lefties, because it promotes permanent race-based sub-classes who are led to believe that they must depend on big-government entitlement and wealth-redistribution programs (which also makes said libs/lefties feel mighty good about themselves — and that’s the whole point of the exercise).
3. And then there’s Reverse-Racism practiced by racial minorities. This is arguably a sub-category of Condescending Racism, because a consequence of holding minorities to a separate and lower standard of attitudes, behavior and beliefs — all based on their “victim/oppressed” status — is to encourage them to lash out at society in general, and white people in particular, rather than take responsibility for themselves.
Thus, it’s acceptable for blacks to “vote for the brother” because Reverse-Racism and Condescending Racism say it’s OK; but it’s not-OK for white people to subject the brother and his wife to any kind of scrutiny or to vote against him — because that’s “racist.”
And it’s also perfectly acceptable for blacks to bandy about the N-word, because Reverse-Racism and Condescending Racism say that’s OK, too; it’s also OK for blacks to use race-based epithets against white people under the same standards.
We don’t need any more “dialogues on race.” We’ll bury racism in this country when:
1. Minorities who rely on accusing others of being “racists” finally take responsibility for their lives — instead of falling back on worn-out psychological avoidance mechanisms to rationalize their own self-defeating beliefs and behaviors; and
2. When libs and lefties finally stop encouraging minorities to externalize their home-grown problems, stop rewarding them for the same, and demand that they live by the same personal and social standards as everyone else.

I would also point out 2 other things.
First, the second definition states it can be applied to *any* race. So it could be black, white, or whatever.
Secondly, the word “niggardly”, which is something my grandfather says often, is not a racist term. Unless you just dont care about what stuff really means. He uses the term as it applies to people that fall within its definition
But he’d be called a racist too for using a word properly that he’s used since he was a child.

I think Carlos Mencia said it best in one of his stand up routines. You are not suppose to pronounce the R. If you listen carefully to blacks say it to one another he has a point. If you are white and pronounce the R then you are using it in a racist way.
