dallas7:

The "Nazi" reference is about the character of the German people, which seems to have this flaw that seeks the savior in a political system. The Naziism of 70 years ago is a symptom of a deeper problem.

There are no saviors in politics. Grown ups who live in reality understand that, which is why we see idiotic journalists and libtards swooning over Obama - they are adolescents.

Every people of a nation bears some kind of character flaw. This thread addresses those of the Germans. We could just as easily point out that of Japan's or ourselves.

Here we go with the Nazi card again. Doesn't matter if it's 2000 or 150 years old, if Hitler touched it, it's Nazi from now on until the end of time.

If there were ever a single reason that you would keep you from voting for Obama, the final straw on the camel’s back, this is it.
Thing is, as this campaign wears on, there will be still countless more examples and reasons why nobody in their right mind should even think about voting for The Empty Suit...let alone ever actually do it. This is just one of the many so far.

purplepeep,

Read you MSLSD link. The funniest thing was all the mootbats defending Obama’s behavior.

Since they couldn’t turn it into a campaign promo with pres in tow

lol - yeah, I've come across a few odd excuses. The bottom line is you set the campaign & media gang aside and take some time to say "thank you" - all by yourself, if need be. That is if he really had wanted to, of course.

Since they couldn't turn it into a campaign promo with pres in tow, the Obama campaign bailed. Classless. Exactly what to expect from an Obama administration.

One military official who was working on the Obama visit said because political candidates are prohibited from using military installations as campaign backdrops, Obama’s representatives were told, “he could only bring two or three of his Senate staff member, no campaign officials or workers.” In addition,
“Obama could not bring any media. Only military photographers would be permitted to record Obama’s visit.”

The official said “We didn’t know why” the request to visit the wounded troops was withdrawn. “He (Obama) was more than welcome. We were all ready for him.”

That is both sad and pathetic. If there were ever a single reason that you would keep you from voting for Obama, the final straw on the camel's back, this is it. Even Bill Clinton would at least fake the compassion. And to hear that he went shopping instead? Or was it a trip to the gym? Or both?

I wonder if anyone will go back to Iraq, and interview all the soldiers seen smiling and shaking his hand, and tell them he did this, that the soldiers are nothing more than a PR prop for this poseur, this pretender, this empty shell of a man?

Probably when monkeys fly out of my butt.

Funny, but it accurately portrays how Obummer sees himself.
