I think he trained himself to talk in the fashion of ‘Rev. Wright lite”. It makes BS sound real and limits the desire of the listeners to question what is being said. Common with preachers.

I’m sure this is just wishful thinking, but, as I watched parts of the Obama trip and the adoring press coverage I thought, maybe Obama has, “jumped the shark”, with this one.
