I remember after President Bush gave a State of the Union address, she gave her customary response as Speaker of the House, and all she could do was blink in front of the camera and stammer, “He must be stopped. He simply must be stopped”. That was the mantra of her entire response. No reason why, no details, just “He must be stopped”. It was amazing.

In my one-week visit to the city I saw more random hatred towards Christians prominently displayed on signs, bumper-stickers, flyers and graffiti than I have seen in my entire life seen publically displayed towards minorities, gays, immigrants etc… That is the order of the day that I saw.

I watched Mrs. Bologna on t.v. over the weekend and it was absolutely heart breaking to watch her and to see the faces of her family that were gunned down. As I recall, we have the raging incompetence and insolence of Ms. Pelosi and Mr. Reid because…back in the election of ‘06, assorted Republicans across this land decided to express their disgust and general p***ed off-ness against the Republicans in Washington D.C. (and other selected sites). They did this by going to the polls and casting their votes for candidates other than those running as Republicans. Now, I think we all agree that they were very correct in their various grievances against the Republicans in WDC, for their screwups are and continue to be horrendous and numerous. However, what they accomplished was to give the congress pretty solidly over to the Dems and we are now drinking the results, i.e., San Fran Nan and Dingey Harry (and their fellow incompetents, which also are many). So, really, it seems to me that the result speaks VOLUMES about what some of those same Repubs are about to do to “show those RINOS a thing or two” and not support John McCain. I see Casey Jones at the control of ol’ #9 screaming down the same track to that same horrendous train wreck, which this time could very well give them all three branches of government, which will REALLY put us in a PICKLE of hugemongusgantuan proportions. Or am I remembering somewhat fuzzily, the recent past events? I am open to correction, my fellow posters. I stand (sitting actually) ready to receive your slings and arrows of outrageous rebuke. During the mayoral campaign that elected Gavin Newsome, one of the candidates, Matt Gonzalez was furious about the Republicans being able to vote. He said, “This race is going to be determined by the Republican vote!”
Mostly because, as the typical wack-a-doodle socialist in the race, no intelligent person would vote for him. So he knew the Republican vote would be for Newsome. That rankled him no end, much to my amusement.
However, his statements were broadcast on the evening news. I immediately noticed the typical lack of SF “journalistic” follow through. The reporter didn’t ask the obvious question: “Mr. Gonzalez, are you saying the Republicans shouldn’t be allowed to vote in this election?” Regardless of his answer, the next question should have been, “Don’t you believe in our two-party system?”
That’s the type of “values” that spew from San Francisco.

What is a citizen to do when the government becomes something less than it was intended? When we have a congress that avoids debate, courts that legislate, and executives that steal from their own people?
The first ammendment is tattered and torn. The second was almost decomissioned and I don’t know how close we are to having the others gutted.

During the hotel workers strike in SF a while back, a friend saw and heard this exchange between a hotel patron and a member of the hotel workers union in the picket line.
The picketers were very noisy and the hotel patron leaned out his window at 6:30am and requested they be quiet. He’d put in a long night and wanted to sleep in. The response from the diversity-proud, non-racist, democrat union member? “Shut the f*** up, NI**ER!”
The hotel patron was african-american.
