He did it in a private ceremony. As if it that somehow lessens the damage of forking over another $300 billion for a housing bailout championed by unscrupulous borrower Chris Dodd and socialist Barney Frank. Thanks for nothing, President Bush:

I forgot to add that most of this bill will be overseen by the next administration but don’t be lulled into thinking that McCain is clean on this issue. Phil Gramm’s was instrumental in laying the foundation for this meltdown with his “deregulation” efforts of the 1990s and the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act in 1999.

All you guys planning to stop paying your mortgages or get free oceanfront mansions do realize that you have to be a female minority on welfare with four to six children by various fathers to have a shot at that dream, don’t you? or a democrat congresswoman…either way, if you’re a hardworking patriot with a nuclear family, you’re gonna get tossed onto skid row for even thinking about giving up on your mortgage. We can’t ALL afford to be libtards…SOMEBODY has to pay the bills.

Right about Iraq? In what way?
Do you know that Bush invaded Iraq, even though 16 agencies had clearly noted that Iraq was NOT a danger? Bush lied about WMDs, as noted by Vincent Bugloisi in the congressional hearings here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7abu9a0xtNI
Bush is lucky if he gets away from being prosecuted or impeached.

550 metric tonnes of yellow cake uranium. Contrary to popular belief, Bush did not unilaterally decided to invade Iraq. More here.

I’m not happy with the President as of late. However, lies are lies, and they must be refuted.

No kidding! I will BET he picks a moderate VP just to stick it to conservatives. I don’t like him… everytime he says “my friends” he sounds phony. He sure as hell isn’t my friend or America’s friend, he is Mexico’s friend.

Sigh…..we went and paid off our morgage, ourselves…and we could have had other people pay it for us…now instead of having “extra” money we are expected to help pay morgages for people who were careless…..sigh…..

Is there ANY candidate out there that will minimize government spending and cut back handout programs?

It seems the “small federal government” mindset is gone in Washington.
