Good news! Chastened SF Mayor proposes new crackdown on dangerous criminals

By see-dubya  •  August 1, 2008 02:34 PM

Gavin Newsom, still reeling from the fallout of the sanctuary-city-illegal-Honduran-crack-dealer
-and-MS13-member-murdering-thug-municipal protection-from-ICE-and-travel-agency scandal, has finally decided to get tough with lawbreakers in San Francisco and confront the crime and chaos that grips his city:

Garbage collectors would inspect San Francisco residents’ trash to make sure pizza crusts aren’t mixed in with chip bags or wine bottles under a proposal by Mayor Gavin Newsom.

And if residents or businesses don’t separate the coffee grounds from the newspapers, they would face fines of up to $1,000 and eventually could have their garbage service stopped.

Whew–I was having trouble sleeping because of my vivid nightmares that somewhere on Nob Hill, some BoBo might be throwing wilted radicchio in the recycling bin instead of on the compost pile.

As I’m fond of saying, you libertarian types might not like social conservatives minding what you do in your bedroom or what you grow in your basement. But the mandate for the Left’s police state extends to every room in your house, and everywhere outside it.

If SF wants to elect and reelect a mayor as fraudulent as Gavin Newsom and watch their city fall apart, that’s their prerogative.

But now Newsom has been caught exporting his deadly policies to other communities, even resulting in the murder of three family members returning home from a picnic. And Newsom refuses to meet with the widow and mother (Danielle Bologna) of those who his asinine policy helped murder?

If I was a member of the Bologna family, I would be saying, “fair game” just about now.

It’s absurd, garbage men have not been properly trained to enforce Federal recycling laws. All this does is divert our local garbage men from performing their much needed jobs of collecting garbage from our streets. Now comes this Mayor who wants to “deputize” our garbage men into Federal agents and do the job and enforce Federal Composting laws that Washington should be doing. All this shows us is that we need Comprehensive Recycling and Composting Reform now!!!

Not much difference between those two.

Now with Obama we have a real danger of a theocracy taking over the US as he falters with the defense of the country thing. I am hoping that the Republicans do not give in to the Evangelicals invading my person and home with their attempts at micromanaging my life. If they do – I give up. Until then I hold back the mild revulsion and vote for McCain come November.

Two days later they pleaded guilty in court before a blind judge, James E. Hannon; the song describes to ironic effect the arresting officer’s frustration at the judge being unable to see the “27 8-by-10 color glossy pictures with the circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one was to be used as evidence against us”. In the end, Guthrie and Robbins were fined $50 and told to pick up their garbage.”
