In most instances, I would agree with you. In this instance though, I would much rather these Birkenstock clad, hemp wearing, tofu eating pieces of debris were caught, tried, and spent considerable time learning the finer points of being Bubba’s shower toy in some federal prison.

I find animals have more conscience & G-d given intelligence than most of the humans with whom I have contact.

It’s a shame that these terrorists are forcing society to think: if you care for animals you are an extremist.

Once I wore a beautiful fur coat to work and had a snotty upstart ask me ‘you’re wearing fur?! I can’t believe you’d wear fur.’ I then asked her ‘do you support abortion?’ She knew she’d have to explain herself, so she just said ‘yes’ and stomped off.

I figured as much, but the original comment did not make this clarification. That is why I chose to question the comment’s underlying meaning and motivation. I try never to assume anything, because it “makes an ass of you and me”.

FBI is now called in. I can’t tell you how it warms my heart to see the Santa Cruz “Police” finally take crime in this town seriously.
And, on all the local newscasts, it is being called by its proper name: “Terrorist Act”, even “attempted murder”, since people were at home when the house was set ablaze.

I found 180 links with only a handfew that were about the attack. I did the same on live search and got more stories on the attack but they were all westcoast papers or internet newsblogs.

Anyone on the eastcoast found any other sources?
