Who compared Obama to Paris Hilton first?
Via a Newsbusters 2005 flashback, D’oh-bama strikes again:
“Andy Warhol said we all get our 15 minutes of fame,” says Barack Obama. “I’ve already had an hour and a half. I mean, I’m so overexposed, I’m making Paris Hilton look like a recluse.”
So, not only is he afraid of himself, he’s sick of himself, too!
Join the club, sweetie.

Priceless!
The scary part is Paris is probably better at what she does (marketing, advertising, promotion, product development) than he is at what he does (which is somewhat vague – I’m still unclear on what a community organizer is, and its been a long time since I’ve seen a US Senator turn an honest buck)
Barack is no Paris.
d-oh, odumbo strikes again!
Except for the fact they are both worthless POS.

His Messiahship be mocked

So I guess the question to Obamination: Panties or Comando?
Paris Hilton sells sexuality; Obama sells hope and change. The latter are abstractions; the former is visceral. Looks like Obama has an uphill battle.
Paris Hilton is a dysfunctional person, which many people who probably want to forget how terrible their lives are find entertaining and amusing while the Obamessiah is an arrogant, obnoxious, know it all that has the potential to plunge this nation into such a dysfunctional state those of us that lived through the Carter years will think of them fondly.
I think it was Rick Soloman. Then he decided on Paris.
The fauxssiah strikes again!
You’re not just overexposed… you’re overrated, too!
Wow! Just love those captured moments in time. Time to bring back MO.
You also make Paris look like a genius every time you speak off script.
ROFLMAO
Ooooooh! Like right_on said, that’s
Hasn’t he had 3 strikes by now?
“The fauxssiah” – now that’s a great bumper sticker! I’d like to put one on O-Force One, right over the word “President” on Obama’s chair.
“That’s Hot”
He said that way back in 2005. In 2008 he’s at least 100 times more overexposed, overrated, and overconfident.
If you can’t figure out the difference, you have no business blogging.
It would make a great bumper sticker!
Obama is gift that keeps pn giving… gaffes that is.
pn=on
Ewwwoooo! TMI.
Mr. Ansell, I hope this doesn’t come under the heading of overexposed.
Ewwwwoooo!
Now, lgm, that’s just downright racist to be pointing out the obvious differences between Obama and Hilton and…*gasp*…sexist too, all in one sentence. Like she can help being a white female.
What happened to your liberal bent of being politically correct and not offending anyone on such grounds?! I am shocked at your behavior.
/sarcasm off
What’s next? Barry Obama seen emerging from a low-riding automobile sans underwear! Indeed, more infamous than Paris Hilton.
Oh, Oh, I think I figured out the difference. When Obama compares himself to an overexposed celebrity like Paris Hilton, he’s speaking as a Democrat. When McCain does it, he’s speaking as a Republican and the rules are different. For example, Obama can inject race into the campaign and remind people that he is black, and that’s OK. But if McCain does it, he is a racist, hatemongering Republican. See, now I get it!
LOL JOhn Holliday, Not that I would want to know, just how the media is fawning all over him. Tingly legs and all.
#20 Barry,
Good stuff! Good fun!
I know, he is the embodiment of what she sits on.
Well, I was thinking ass, but that works too.
It’s easy. One of them stars in videos that are posted all over the internet and show disgusting things and make you want to vomit and the other one had her own reality show.
I think that sums it up.
Is that “A-game?”
HA!! Indeed it is!
I was just kidding!
Oh! I know, 30. I’m just feelin’ giddy this evening.
Hmmm? Maybe it’s from lack of sleep?
In 2004, the day before Obama delivered the keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention, Martin Nesbitt, a close friend, had the following exchange with Obama about his (lightworker) star power:
Can you say NARCISSISTIC? They both make me PUKE!
Man-o-man, this guy makes Komrade Klinton seem modest.
That’ll do it. I prefer that to dragging @$# all day.
Funny thing is, Paris and Britney were in the ad for fractions of a second each, so their appearance only merits a moment or two of thought, the point being Obama is famous without having done very much yet. That’s all there is to it. End of story.
I think it goes without saying that Barack Obama is enamored with himself. He is probably more offended that he has been compared to the passing celebrity of Spears, Hilton and the like. He is one of those long haul celebrities. Don’t ya know?

Actually, that’s very true. She’s been doing it for years!
Who compared Obama to Paris Hilton first?
Hmm. And when the libs got upset at the fox ‘baby momma,’ throwaway graphic tease … and someone not too unlike one of Rush’s EIB Memory Division™ tireless archivists – pulled out the quote of Michelle Obama introducing Barack as her baby’s daddy or what the hell ever all of this was … yes. It’s all fake. It’s all about them. It’s not what they claim it is, such as racism, or all of their other tantrums to that effect. It’s all them. Started by them, whined by them.
snort.

Lemme see here. They’re both head-over-heels in love with themselves. They both think they’re deep, complex, and introspective when in fact they have all the depth of Beevis and Butthead. They both have a greatly over-inflated sense of selfworth.
The only difference I can see is ones a woman and the other is a girlyman.
Dave Turson (#29) quotes:
This sounds like a normal thing for a person to say, if he thought he had a good speech. You have to have self confidence to be the leader of the free world. It takes confidence to make the big decisions.
He was right by the way, showing more predictive power than “Our troops will be welcomed as liberators.” (Rumsfeld), or “Weeks rather than months” (Cheney) or “Relatively easy” (McCain).
Not for Obama. He just checks his itinerary to see who he’s talking to and that guides him in all decisions. If a group on the next day’s schedule is against the decision he made the day before, he’ll change it to please them.
Sure, but in Obama’s case, it’s a matter of arrogance vs. confidence.
He’s arrogant.
If Obama has so much confidence, then why won’t he debate McCain in a townhall format?
Uhhh, ummmm, uhhhh…
Because he doesn’t have that many scripts prepared yet.
The difference as I see it is that Obama was(once again) talking about himself…the others you cited were talking about an issue. Not THEMSELVES. That’s Obama’s favorite topic, HIMSELF.
lgm said:
Yeah, the same predictive power that he showed when he opposed the surge, said he wouldn’t toss his racist pastor under the bus and pledged to peruse public financing…. Among a BILLION other reversals.
I logged on to David Gergen’s web site again to send this latest information to him about who brought up Paris first. After all he thought to make such a comparison as in McCain’s ad was “code” in his ’southern’ upbringing for “uppity.” Time magazine also had this 2005 quote from odumbo. Gergen: truly a moron. And to think presidents use him for a consultant!
Join the club,
sweetieputz. The people I talk with daily, both here in Oklahoma, and from around the country at casinos, respond with the same repulsion of that man: “It’s not a matter of race, but a matter of integrity, policies”
Obama’s history, in 100 days, friends.
You really can’t make this stuff up.
First we’re told that playing Michelle Obama’s game of using the expression “Baby’s Mama/Baby’s Daddy” is now racist and/or inappropriate.
Now, we learn that the same comparison to Paris Hilton that he and libs have been crying foul about…was used by Obama himself in 2005?
These people can’t be taken seriously.
lgm trolled
Ooo, good point. You win a tire pressure gauge, emblazoned with 57 stars.
Ouch. That’s gonna leave a mark.
You all missed the obvious. lgm thinks “Obama is better looking”. Those were his actual words!!!
lgm is a sick, sick troll.
Speaking of sick trools, there are two who just posted before me.
Wow steve, what is your problem (besides the obvious – pendejo envy)?
No, but it means what I want it to mean! Kinda like you wanting Obama to be self-deprecation instead of arrogant.
Your problem is still envy. Get over it.
Soap, really, it’s okay if somebody offers up a differing opinion now and then. I realize you’re a huge MM fan…a groupie really, but she can take a dig every so often. She’s a big girl. The immaturity of this particular thread and others like it deserves to be ridiculed. Maybe you need to “get over it”.
On second thought.
Pendejo
So, why don’t you tell us why you should not be banned for calling Michelle a pendejo?
dakine,
Click the link and tell me this is proper. I was accused of calling women on this blog names. That was untrue. I have defended all women when they come under attack. It is rude. Steve, your fellow troll, just made a verbal assualt. I will confront it. If you feel like that is okay, well… I suppose you are as big a man as Steve there.
Send me the $100 and we will see.
Oh, and Dakine, I am Michelle’s #1 groupie. Ask chap!
Soap, save the “troll” stuff please…it’s weak. If by “pendejo”, Steve meant “idiot”, then he’s right there with you. I think you probably refer to lgm as an “idiot” at least twice a day. Like I said, this is a dumb blog post and deserves to be ridiculed. I’m voting for McCain BTW.

Yo, esé, wassup? Your mama teach you to talk like that?
If you’re conceding that Obama actually equated himself with Paris Hilton in 2005, then why are you getting all potty mouth on my girl MM for highlighting Obama’s hypocrisy this week, in calling others “low road” for doing the same?
Between you and me, I’m getting a little tired of all these rules about what we can and can’t say about Obama’s own words and actions. It ain’t the change I’m looking for, know what I’m sayin’?
Dakine,
I belive you said the problem was in differing opinions. That is fine. I am sure Steve was trying to be as insulting as possible. You do not condemn it – good for you. At least be consistant.
I suppose your are fine with him wanting to pay for my demise too? EH. I’ll take the fools money and he will be disappointed again. Like coming here with his envy. He will gain nada.
Not okay with that soap…totally uncalled for. The rest of it didn’t bother me, although the “pendejo” thing was probably unnecessary.
Appreciate that dakine. I really do. Sorry about comparing you to him then.
We’re good soap. Like I said a while back, I’ve really come to respect you. There’s stuff we don’t agree on, but so what. You seem like a quality guy, and that’s what matters at the end of the day.
The “CELEB” ad should be updated so it reflects Obama’s longstanding claim to be a bigger celebrity than Paris.
I also propose, to settle this matter of contention, we ask the mega-Obama-friendly Access Hollywood, ET, TMZ (or whatever celeb news show he favors) to conduct a web poll. Gotta be fair to Paris, afterall, in this “Obama v. Paris Dueling Claims To Unearned Fame” controversy.
Kathy Hilton really needs to step up to the plate and either apologize to John McCain for unequal treatment, or else equally rebuke Obama’s 2005 reference to her daughter, Paris.
America always forgives and respects those who admit their mistakes, right?
Barack Obamakova
I gave him that name a year and a half ago and I think it still fits quite well.
Anna Kournikova is a tennis player of some talent but without any real wins but she’s arguably the most popular tennis player in the world (at least among men
).
Obama is no different. He is a politician with some talent but without any real wins. He beat perennial loser Alan Keyes after Jack Ryan (thanks to a judge unsealing records that neither he nor his ex-wife Jeri “7 of 9″ Ryan wanted unsealed) dropped out.
Until recently, he would have been comparable to Danica Patrick, but at least she actually won.
Paris Hilton his a bad comparison because she’s only famous for being famous. Kournikova is a professional but isn’t famous for being a good one. She’s famous for being good looking.
Obama is famous for being “clean and articulate” as well as black.
Hence, why I favor Barack Obamakova. Well, that and the fact that I made it up.
I’m sure it’s already been said but Obama was the one making the big deal about his pen-pal relationship with Scarlett Johanson. Am I wrong?

Aww, look! its one of my other favorite verbal punching bags! But so late posting, 1 A.M.? Did your mommie know you were up and on the internet on a school night?
I didn’t think so either.
If you want to end some existance, please feel free to demonstrate for us! Show us how its done!

‘I’M OUT THERE JERRY… AND I’M LOVIN EVERY MINUTE OF IT!’
When the MSM photogs start aiming for crotch shots of Obama, I’ll start to worry…. Oh… nevermind

Sorry – my ‘links’ button is disabled
Dang, sorry I missed all the fun last night.
dakine, soap has you fooled! he is a sick, sick, man….. lmao.
better explain, soap is one of my best buds.
Don’t drag me into this. I have enough problems just dealing with atheling lately.
And you wouldn’t? I mean come on. The guy may be an arugula eating effete prissy latte sipping communist loving dude. But he is a dude. And Scarlett is pretty much my vision of perfection. Or maybe second next to my grand notion of a Marxist utopia where all dissent is squashed and all wealth redistributed.
I’m more of a Megan Fox kinda guy actually
Obama: Fame without Portfolio
Paris Hilton: Fame with Portfolio
Hell…Looks to me, Dems nominated the wrong star.
False self-deprecation is a form of seduction used by politicians to try and make themselves appear to be more like the common man.
Either you’re okay with him having over-confidence and acting as though he’s already President, or you buy this false humility that he’s an ordinary American… Which is it?
I’m not too upset over Steve456’s name-calling, either. To start out with that only shows how weak even he believes his argument is. When challenged, he resorts to wishing Soap were dead. That’s about a 5th grade mentality and it’s more amusing than anything else. Leave a mark? Hardly.
I thought Scarlett was the one making a big deal of it and not Obama? I don’t like the guy, but in this, I thought it was more on her end.
At least you’re on record that Marxism is directly connected to squashing dissent and redistributing wealth.
…although, now that Obama’s childhood mentor has been identified as Frank Marshall Davis there’s a bit of a sobering effect on your sarcasm here.
Personally I thought Scarlett was terrific, until her politics got in the way. She’s just another Hollywood liberal dummy. I prefer my women smarter than that.
LOL chap – sorry!
Truer words were never spoken.
I’ve also heard that Paris’ sex tape was a lot more entertaining than one of Obummer’s endless Hope and Change through endless flipflopping speaches.
Let’s go easy on Paris, okay? She’s going to have to get by on less money if Obummer gets elected.
/sarc off
Her tapes were actually really boring, she’s not all that great…
errr….
Ya know, because a friend of mine watched them….yeah, thats it!
Abstract:
Just the mere thought of her sex tapes is a big EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW for me. Rick Soloman has been through a lot of Hollywood’s bimbos which speaks volumes to what he values in a relationship.
I sorta think of Paris and Obummer in the following way:
Paris is intellecually vacant…….
and Obummer is politically vacant…..
They complete the perfect circle that is celebrity in America.
All of which brings up another thought. Am I the only one who thinks Hilton would do less damage to the country than Obama as President?
Yeah, you didnt miss much…you know, by my friends’ account of it anyway
Agreed. I find them both vapid. I sometimes wonder if Paris wouldnt run things better.
The White House would certainly be decorated, in that case.
Someone should do a little photoshop using the Shroud of Turin and change it to the Shroud of Obama
That would make a nice poster / t-shirt.
twofoot said:

Hmmm….The One is looking for a VP who can compensate for his extreme lack of experience. I think she’d be up for it if he told her about his great connections for nose candy. But is there any way we could get Paris to the top of that ticket?
Paris: I’m totally ready to lead. I’m HOT!!
