At what point do you pick up arms and make a stand? Taxation without representation is nothing compared to this. The fascist 9th court has to change or we are heading toward a revolution.

tre,

I think this one will certainly be overturned on appeal.

It was appealed. Both the 9th Circuit Appeals Court and the Supreme Court turned down the case.

Isn't the punishment a bit harsh?
Even if he was guilty (which is only in bizarro world), isn't 18 months in prison excessive for 'discharging'?
What about just imposing a fine so they could clean up the "pollutants"

Reminiscent of CA’s ex-governor (who wants to run again) Jerry “The Hippie” Brown’s appointment to the CA Supreme Court of far left activist judge, Rose Bird in the 1980’s. The citizens of CA got rid of her and a couple of her cronies.

Buck up, ID. Do your research and follow our lead. Course it might be a bit more difficult now, 20 years on.

Folks in my part of Idaho are fuming over this gross injustice by a runaway bloated arrogant Federal Government System. If this keeps up we just might have to reopen that little argument a certain block of states had with what they saw as an intrusive Federal Government in the 19th Century over states rights.

Wow. This Lynn Winmill character takes the cake. Does he think he's an Emperor? This fool needs to be impeached and removed from the bench.

The Klinton legacy will be a plague upon us for a long, long time.

Before the jury was dismissed to enter into deliberations at the conclusion of his trial, Judge Lynn Winmill instructed the jury, believe it or not, to disregard every bit of information from 1980 to 2002, including the Corps’ denial of jurisdiction and the mandate from local government for Mr. Moses to maintain the flood channel.
Hopefully that will be enough for a successful appeal. But any U.S. Attorney prosecuting this case would most likely be a Bush Appointee and equally dirty as HerrReichJudge Lynn Winmill.Power is the problem. Fascism run rampant and I could be next, or you. These Federal Agencies do no need to be reformed; they need to be abolished as all they are doing is creating Reich Fuhers all over the damn place.

This is getting scarey. Sounds like federal judge Lynn Winmill is trying to emulate Nancy Pelosi's "Führer" style of leadership by personally running everything in classic meglomaniac style.
