Iowahawk gets a warning letter
Har. Master satirist Iowahawk has received one of those nasty warning letters from the brownshirts at Accountable America.
Check it out: Mockery is always the best medicine.
Your letter may be in the mail next week.

I love it!
Ridicule demonstrates how the pen can be mightier than the sword!
GULP!
Cowtipping is a crime????!!!!
Anyone know that the statute of limitations is on that?
Cowtipping is a crime????!!!!
Anyone know that the statute of limitations is on that?
Oh, it’s….never mind, I really know nothing of this type of infraction…nothing I tell you!
This is going too far. The brownshirts terrorized political opponents by killing them. Accountable America terrorizes by sending letters warning them to follow the law.
Please stop comparing anyone you don’t like to Nazis. Not all of them are.
I loved the arrest for cow tipping and marijuana possession, both he and his mother at the same time. Nice touch!
lgm – you cowtipper you!
I almost busted a gut laughing. Iowahawk is funny as hell.
On another topic. While sending nasty letters is newsworthy at MM, the war in Georgia is not. Russia has invaded an ally of the US. As usual, Bush is on the case.
at 1:02 PM, lgm wailed:
lgm, re: “Accountable America terrorizes by sending letters warning them to follow the law”.
Uhhh, using the USPS to threaten, intimidate or even harass is of course a federal offense… thank you for your deposition.
Oh, you mean like the leftwingnuts on the DailyKos and DU calling conservatives “neo-nazis” and other perjorative terms? “Accountable America” needs to be investigated for stalking, and violations of the RICO statute, and Tom Matzzie should be slapped upside his fat head for concocting such a laughable, ridiculous attempt at political blackmail.
LGM, You’ve become a parody, and that’s saying a lot.
You really need to get out more.
Yeah, I also think people went too far in condemning the Nazis for making Jews wear Star-of-David patches on their arms. I mean, what’s the big deal with wearing a little patch?
Now what I’m pointing out here, using the admittedly sophomoric device of sarcasm, is that the Brownshirts didn’t start by killing opponents, and that wasn’t the only thing they did to try to silence opposition. Surely they sent letters admonishing people to follow the law, along with subtle threats about what would happen if they didn’t.
Given the nastiness of discourse found on many political sites, it can be reasonably concluded that there are people who are in favor of killing their political opponents, and who might just do so given the chance. Maybe warning those opponents to “follow the law”, which is really the job of law enforcement and not some “private, non-partisan organization”, is just the first step in a Brownshirtesque escalation of selective vigilantism. For example, how many Democrats received the same letter? My bet’s on a total of about 0, unless it was a mistake.
That was great.
Exactly which ones are the nazis then?
So this letter threatens its recipients which is a violation of the USPS and postal regulations. Furthermore, it has crossed state lines wouldn’t this fall under RICO?
Iowahawk is always good for a laugh. Nothing like using humor and satire to strike back at those that want to take away our freedom of speech. Having contributed to a couple of conservative causes I can’t wait to get my threat letter. I think I will provide a copy to the local FBI office in Boise.
“The brownshirts terrorized political opponents by killing them.”
Not always or even usually. Mostly all it took was a show of force. If I were a Leftist, I wouldn’t want to play this game. The Right in this country may be slower to get off the couch and use these tactics, but once we do, most of us are armed, have military experience or law enforcement backgrounds, and we aren’t cowards who go squemish in the middle of the fight.
So, at your peril, hippies, stoners, people who cry about veal and have “meat is murder” T-shirts in the closet. Bring it on, naked cyclists, moronic college professors, burning man attendees, and other various tattoed freaks. We’ve been practice firing our Bushmasters, AR’s, and Mini’s for decades, and we aren’t scared of the loud noises they make. You people are.
And, of course, this non-profit public interest organization used an anonymous (proxy) service instead of it’s own organization-name-info to register it’s domain.
Proxy registration of domains is not unusual for private individuals who do not want to make their name & other info public knowledge. It is extremely unusual for such a “group” as this one claims to be. Especially one with the handle “Accountable”.

I sent 25 bucks to the RNC. Where’s my letter? Why am I being discriminated against?
I haven’t tipped any cows, but I did put igniters on several to turn all that methane into CO2. That should count for something.
Finally, a confession. Dems = terrorists.

Yes and no, the threats by mail are an offense for sure, but RICO deals with conspiracies, and like sex, conspiracy requires more that one person, now if this individual has an accomplice …
I want my letter! I’m going to make a donation to the RNC so I can get my letter.
lgm and his idealogue buddies all had a fit when Michelle drove past the SCHIP Poster Family’s house – stalking they called it. Now he’s in favor of trolling through people’s backgrounds and threatening them with what they have found.
Now he’s also apparently in favor of us invading Georgia, though he’s been opposed to Iraq.
He’s really not in favor of us defending the Georgians. He just wants a new rallying cry for the left now that the majority believes we are winning the war on terror.
I can see it now, the dems getting up one after another denouncing the quagmire that Bushitler got us into in Georgia.
Oops. This response, based on a classic lgm quote, must have still been in my “cut and paste” option since last Friday.
What I meant to say was, lgm has been a leftist living in NYC for so long now, that he wouldn’t recognize a Nazi if one jumped out and threw him into a pot of boiling water.
AlohaGuy said (#22):
I don’t remember this. Can you provide a link?
What’s sauce for the goose . . .
I didn’t say that. But we should be doing more than this to stop the Russians from invading Georgia. (Do you brave conservatives have the courage to click on this link and see your glorious President doing battle with the axis of evil?)
I don’t normally donate to political parties, but I may just donate to the Repubs to get this letter. Then I can forward it to the law enforcement in my city and state as harassment based solely on my political beliefs. And the fight will begin.
If I ain’t afraid of a bunch of Palestinian terrorists, why the heck would I be afraid of a bunch of feckless political hacks? Why, I ask you?
You know what would stop Russia from invading Georgia, lgm? Big ol’ air strike on Moscow. Yep, you heard it here first, I am advocating starting WWIII with Putin and his thugs over GEORGIA (I don’t even know where that Georgia is on the maps).
P.S. Isn’t this what one calls a “threadjack” in Internets terms?
Get ready for a Nazi takeover, because that’s exactly what will occur if the current crop of fascists get into the White House. The Republic is in serious peril.
Brian, re; “, lgm has been a leftist living in NYC for so long now“,
Boston I thought, please say Boston!
“I didn’t say that. But we should be doing more than this to stop the Russians from invading Georgia”
I though the UN’s FULL TIME JOB was preventing this kind of stuff? Don’t you liberals LOVE the UN? I thought we were supposed to turn our national security interests over to the UN?
What do you want Bush to do? He fights tyranny, you guys scream “Quagmire!!” He talks tough, your side screams “Cowboy!” The world gets the message. America has been neutered by it least productive, and loudest citizens. What can we do now that the world knows that the entire Democrat party of the United States will work tirelessly to undermine our military and Commander in Chief DURING WARTIME!!
Well, this probably means they know about the time I knocked out the electrical power all over campus with a well thrown metal coat hanger during that panty raid when I was at Ole Miss…guess I better write them a check
Davidleerothman,
It is simple, really. We are supposed to do something weak and ineffective, that won’t offend any other country, and has no hope of accomplishing anything…. and then quit it at the fist sign of: a) failure; b) success; c) benefit to GOP
ahh so they fear Iowahawk too, good work Iowa.
Now dmit where is my letter!!!! I have bought the frame and I want to fill it,where is my copy??
Oh! The United Nations/Democrat Party approach!
Well, we are going to implement it in JAN ‘09.
“lgm,”
You would have probably been one of the first to start up one of those “1920’s beerhall brawls” in Munich or Berchtesgaden to beat the living sh*t out of “the opposition” (didn’t matter what stripe of resistance, if not NSDAP, then whammo in the kisser)…
…all while saying, “hey, it’s only a couple of guys havin’ their fun!”
Excuses, excuses. You and your thinking are in the gutter.
Good, nice to know you didn’t think it was stalking. Plenty of people did. (Links are easy to find.)
lgm,if the President sent even a round from a pellet gun downrange to Georgia you and the entire left code pink types would be screaming the usual crapola, impeachment, war criminal, idiot, etc, etc.Sorry, run on sentence. What’s wrong with him looking at a womans buns?Answer that,I won’t question your manhood.
It is also mail fraud for representing itself as non-partisan.
He would have been crouching under a table in the beer hall, and then written a letter to the editor of the Munschener Zeitag the next day, calling the local (pre-nazi) government a bunch of nazis for crushing the putsch.
Threadjack alert…
Misty May has been a fan of Jason Kidd since forever and wore 5 on her jerseys. She then got a tatoo of the number 5 in Roman Numerals on the small of her back which also has her grandmother’s initials in it. They’re “Kidding” around for photographers. Incidentally, she never threw her grandmother under a bus. Now I have to go and see when NBC has more women’s beach volleyball scheduled…
Dammit! I’ve become rather disgusted with the Republican party in recent years. I’m not terribly interested in giving them money, especially with McRINO as their presidential candidate, but I want my letter. I suppose I can make a donation to John Culberson since he’s been involved with the Oil Party and he’s my parents’ representative.
LGM, The Brownshirts were able to do that because one of the first things Hitler did was make certain only Nazis could have guns…the Jews of Germany were disarmed.
The nitwit Tom Mattzie can only act like a snot in this bitter, gun-owning country…I like it that way
LGM now perhaps you understand the difference between a free society and one that is free in name only

lgm, it is well known that male cows are stupider & easier to tip… try a male cow for your first attempt.
A couple of hours ago, I went to the Accountable America site. I wrote a comment on their first thread. I did not use profanity (after all, I’m not a liberal), but was slightly sarcastic. Guess what, they have yet to print any of my comments. Gee, they are such cowards. Of course, I asked for my letter, too. I’ll wait and see. I want my letter. To a conservative, it’s a badge of honor to be threatened by a chicken liberal. What will they do? Hit me with their purse? lol
I and a couple of other posters went to a abc site a few days ago. We were all censored. I made several posts, all straight and clean. One of my censored posts was “Obamba will be the best President since Clinton” yes a referance to clinton was censored (removed in under 60 seconds).
The next nite I stumbled unto another leftie site, I made the same post…..it was censored also.
I recommend posting at left sites to everyone, stay straight and clean, being censored is both educational, revealing, and best of all F U N!
susieq2cute, allrsn & all. Of course they won’t post you, descent is verboten. But if they have sponsors then they get payed by the click… DON’T CLICK!
You are making the mistake of assuming he has one, Doc.

lgm, are you pretending to be Gary Hart today? Here are your links:
1. Firelakedog’s complaint: “Right wing bloggers have been harassing the Frosts, calling their home numerous times to get information about their private lives. Compassionate conservatism indeed.”
2. DailyKos’ complaint: “Seems that the ever-classy Michelle Malkin has been stalking the family.”
3. CBS News’ complaint: “Unsurprisingly, the latest crackpot loony brigade is headed up by the chief crackpot, Michelle Malkin, who has distinguished herself by staking out Graeme’s house and grilling his father’s friends.”
4. The Populistblog.com’s complaint: “Going to someone’s house and place of employment is going over the line, and I’ll tell you this, she’s (Michelle Malkin) going to do that one day to the wrong person, and she’s going to end up getting the tar beat out of her, or possibly worse, in a body bag. Some people don’t like being messed with like that and some, like one’s I know, like the one’s in Southwest Detroit, Wouldn’t think twice about droppin’ a 9MM slug into someone, who they thought was messing with them. She should be a bit more mindful of that. I mean, I know that’s MD (read: Whitey Tighty City) up there and all, But that stuff is dangerous and could get you killed in the wrong part of town.”
[NOTE: Chuck Adkins has since pulled the post but part of it was captured. It included Malkins' phone number, home address and a picture of her house.]
5. Senator Hillary Clinton’s complaint: “I don’t mind them picking on me; they’ve done it for years, but President Bush and the Republicans should lay off Graeme Frost and all the other children who are getting health care because we have decided to do the right thing in America.”
6. And finally, lgm’s complaint:
On October 14th, 2007 at 10:06 am, lgm said:
“If you want an adult discussion of SCHIP, great. Instead, you focus on the Frost family and the cars one of their supposed neighbors says they drive.”
I don’t think there’s much to the “they” part, susie. Even the domain name is just registered for only 1 year – the requried bare minimum before it will expire. That shows Mattzie intends it as nothing more than a quickie front operation.
This looks like a one-”man” scam designed soley to line Tom Matzzie’s pockets with $$$ from whoever could possibly be stupid enough to make a contribution to his laughable game.
Since it’s linked to the “Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee”, dlcc.org , he likely had some dipstick from it whip up his obviously hastily assembled, amateurish webpage.
Yup, since it looks to be just the one proverbial fat guy running things out of his parent’s basement, it is merely “the sound of one chicken flapping his wings”. And we all know how well the chicken gracefully soars once he takes wing!
Good point, but dm how do I entertain myself. LOL
In regards to lgm’s objection to MM previously investigating the financial inappropriateness of the Frost Family’s membership for taxpayer-subsidized health care, while also condoning Accountable America’s threatening letter campaign against donors of conservative causes…

lgm = hypocrite.
What do you suggest, we launch all? I take it you will be at the recuiters office in the morning? Ever have a 7.62 Russian rip through your body and take out a hip? The VA will give you a nice walking cane.
Actually the war in Georgia has been mentioned and blogged here on MM. Look around, check the link.
Personally I have always thought the ‘quicker, faster, cheaper’ war in Iraq was a mistake. If you DO fight you go in big, fast and hard. Just how big a war do you think we would have with Russia? China would move with in days to expand her influence. Iran would move on the Gulf and Europe would mess in their pants.
Let us know how your pre induction physical goes. You going to volunteer for infanrty, armour or artillary?
Sing along lgm. Protect your hip. Worse comes to worse you get a steel casket and your family a flag; in your case I image it would be a white flag. As I said, Protect your hip.
#24 lgm said:
I concede to you that Russia’s invasion of Georgia occurred while President Bush was attending the 2008 Summer Olympic and visiting with many of our fine athletes.
But hey, it’s not like he was conducting troop deployments to Bosnia, while using a 22 year old intern’s face as his personal penis playground under his desk (you know what I’m talking about.)
So please lgm, a little perspective!
It better not be armor. But if it is, I volunteer to run LGM’s physical training regimen. I have the feeling that I would see him puking a lot.
Yeah. Tell that to all your liberal friends.
Propaganda tactics were a big proponent of Nazi/Stalinist/totalitarian regimes. Still is – just look at the Olympic games and the hush-hush of China’s abysmal human rights records.
Brownshirts is exactly the correct term for lefties who employ the tactics of the regimes they love so much – namely any tactic that’s designed to shut down, shut up, or marginalize the opposition without engaging in honest, intellectual debate.
You know this is the finest thread in a long time… it fully exposes the left as the fascists that they are. I have right here in my hand my grandparents “deportation” papers from 1937, just after they were disarmed & just before they were gassed.
Come on lgm, let me show them to you … I am sure you will find the experience educational.
Actually I doubt it, he is the one defending the brownshirts. No amount of evidence or similarities or proven fascist points will ever convince him otherwise. Just mark his name down (if it already wasn’t there) as an enemy of the Constitution (cough, second amendment, cough) and general danger to a free Republic.
So the use of “brownshirts” as a simile is liberal-exclusive?
Whoops. I meant metaphor, not simile.
alaskangrizzly, re: “Actually I doubt it, he is the one defending the brownshirts. “.
Awwww, no biggie… have you ever seen him respond to one of my posts… right, and you never will. Give the devil his due.

It would be interesting to get a psychologist to read this thread. I said brownshirts were worse than someone mailing an angry but harmless letter to a scumbag. The thread turns that into me defending brownshirts. Is is dislexia or ADD or an inability to keep words in order?

Actually, there was another thread started the day before on that very same topic.
Take your meds, little green man
Well Heir Gooodman (AKA: lgm) what would you like us to call you in your smartly pressed uniform?
ROFLMAO! That may have been the best yet. Now, can I can suggest one with the cow-tipping theme in mind?
Priceless.
LGM
They missed out on Norman Hsu, but I guess when give that much more to the democrats, it’s better for the left to let it slide, right LGM?
Uhhhhhh, yeah. What Jim said. Anyone know the statute of limitations?
My, aren’t we (i.e. you) feeling a bit touchy, lgm. What’s the difference it that and what you spew about conservatives, Republicans, etc. on here on a regular basis?
Classic. For forty years the Left have been masters of mockery, derision, slander and ridicule. When they get a little taste of their own medicine, they cry and wet their pants. But for them to go Gestapo is where I draw the line with their crap.
ROFLMAO
Ooooh!…*gasp*…BM…*gasp*…you…*gasp*…have to…*gasp*…warn a…*gasp*…person, before…*gasp*…you do…*gasp*…something…*gasp*…like…*gasp*…that! I…*gasp*…can’t…*gasp*…breeeeeathe…*gasp*!!!

Intimidation is intimidation.
I love Iowahawk. Living in Iowa City can be difficult as it is a very liberal place, but the fact that Iowahawk came from this area makes me very hopeful.
Now have to take my turn with lgm…
First of all, I missed the part where it was shown that the Accountable America idiot was sending a letter “to a scumbag.” How are the recipients scumbags?
Secondly, it is utterly laughable that you can moan over the thread turning into something off topic when you somehow thought a thread about Iowahawk’s satire of the AA letters equalled a thread about Russia and Georgia. You are the king of threadjacking and deflection. Maybe we wouldn’t all be so ready to laugh in your face if you at least tried to stick to discussion of the topic at hand. (I said maybe.)

No. When Lance Armstrong or Michael Jordan play head games with their opponents, that’s part of the game.
Threatening legal action (i.e. within the law) against a conservative lowlife is not the same as threatening to burn his house.
Again with the name-calling. What makes the recipients of these letters scumbags and lowlifes?
Libs know a thing or two about burning someone’s home with whom they don’t agree or like, huh?
On August 10th, 2008 at 9:41 pm, lgm said:

A lib is actually saying that Bush didn’t STEAL the election?
Within the context of dictating to others how and what to think or support, yes, this is intimidation.
And before I forget, despite our political differences, I wish you a rewarding fall semester! I am sure it is no easy thing to deliver college level instruction in mathematics on a daily basis, so my best for the new term.
how bout we call them Digital Brownshirts then LGM, that fair?
“lgm: No. When Lance Armstrong or Michael Jordan play head games with their opponents, that’s part of the game”
And I suppose you have no problem if I visit “day labor” locations so I can hand out flyers telling all those good citizens that they will face jail time if they try and vote and are not found to be qualified.
I mean, I am doing them a favor, after all, just keeping them from breaking the law.
And while I am at it, I suppose I could go to SE DC (with heavily armed police escort, of course), and warn all those good citizens that they would be breaking the law if they voted and were violent convicted felons.
No intimidation there, just trying to keep people honest.
Oh, heck, why don’t I just put flyers on all cars in a parking lot, school, day-care center, etc., and warn every one to make sure they are citizens and have a right to vote, otherwise they will face prosecution.
Yup.
You know, that’s not intimidation at all, just doing my honest duty to keep people out of jail. . . right lgm.
Where’s my letter? They’re going to investigate me and my activities? Feel free, boys! Then we’ll see how you like it when my attorney completes his legal colonoscopy of you and your life.
