Tracking down animal-rights terrorism, FBI raids home in Santa Cruz

By see-dubya  •  August 10, 2008 07:18 AM

After the terrifying firebombing attacks on two researchers affiliated with UC Santa Cruz last week, the FBI has jumped in to investigate. And the house they’ve searched is the same one they were looking at after a similar animal-rights attack on another researcher’s home in February.

Get this: they’re college students renting the place. But that’s silly; whoever heard of college students getting involved with violent, radical politics?

The landlord thinks his tenants are clean:

Still, [landlord Frank] Male said the tenants never posed any problems or acted suspicious.

“They all seemed like regular UCSC students to me,” he said, adding that they always paid their rent on time. “They don’t drink alcohol. They don’t smoke pot. Every time I’d go over to the house it was immaculate.

Yeah, there’s something deeply wrong there. Those do not sound like ordinary UCSC students to me.

More in the LA Times, including a defense of animal-rights terror by pro-violence animal rights spokesman Jerry Vlasak.

And the terrorist are just likely to get away with it. There are areas in The Peoples Republic of Kalifornia where is is hard to get a jury to convict a correct terrorist. That would be a case where individual retailation would be called for. An educated individual with a little planning should be able to leave no usuable evidence. Jerry Vlasak needs to worry.

    It does happen.

Special treatment for special people, I guess. How about they just catch them and impose the already prescribed penalty for attempted murder? We don’t need yet another class of “victim”, and we don’t need another proscription on free speech for non-violent demonstrators. Next thing they do will be to use whatever law and/or penalty they dream up for this situation against anti-abortion protestors.

And if you are planning crimes, the last thing you want to do is attract attention like not paying rent, leaving your bong/hooka out or trashing the place.

Nah, Obamessiah will choose himself as VP:

In a brilliant move, which media pundits are describing as audacious, Barack Obama has chosen himself to be his own running mate. “That’s how I roll,” Obama told reporters in a briefly held brief briefing during the intermission of a Bon Jovi concert, after which he dropped the microphone with a loud thump. As he left the stage, members of the press corps ripped off their shirts and threw them toward the stage, while their female colleagues threw their panties, all of them experiencing what can only be described as “minimally disguised orgasms”.

An Obama spokesperson explained the decision as the obvious choice: “Who better understands Obama’s vision of Hope and Change than Obama? I know I don’t.” The rhetorical question had the mainstream journalists shrugging and nodding.

The celebration of unity between Obama and Obama, as well as between the mainstream media and the Democrat Party was interrupted, however, when a divisive McCain supporter asked whether the move was constitutional. She was quickly beaten to the ground by Al Franken in an idealistic attempt to stop the divisiveness, and is currently said to be in serious, but stable condition, at a Bethesda, Maryland hospital.

Feather Weinstein, an intense Obama supporter, was thrilled by the announcement. “Barack understands that we do not need anyone other than Barack,” she gushed. “This is exactly what makes Barack… Barack!” After an awkward giggle she offered, “You can probably tell that I am a little high on Hopium.”

Hillary Clinton commented on the stunning move in a brief telephone interview, saying “I don’t know if he used a Ouija board or called Miss Cleo or whatever, but that bastard stole my idea.” It was followed by the sound of several lamps thrown against the wall and a cat scurrying away, after which the phone went dead.
