Groan: Not another Obama book!
Yes, another book by Barack Obama is on the way.
You’ll never guess the title.
Oh, of course you can.
It’s “Change We Can Believe In”–a recycled collection of talking points and speeches over the past year. Hey, why fool with the insipid formula that has carried him this far?
Here’s the cover now up on Amazon.com– and I know you guys will have fun with it:

Pity the poor trees that were pulped to produce the 300,000 initial print run:
He’s written million-selling books about his early years and the meaning of public life. Now, Sen. Barack Obama, with the help of his campaign staff, has another side to share with readers: policy wonk.
“Change We Can Believe In: Barack Obama’s Plan to Renew America’s Promise” is coming out Sept. 9 as a paperback with an announced first printing of 300,000 copies and a list price of $13.95. Looking ahead to the digital market, the e-book, also $13.95, will go on sale the day before.
“We are proud to have published two best-selling books by Barack Obama and are thrilled to have the opportunity to continue to work with his campaign on such an important and inspiring book at this critical moment in our country,” Crown Publishing Group president Jenny Frost said in a statement.
Apparently, the “wonkish” book will include his botched Philadelphia race speech that got thrown under the bus with Jeremiah Wright and his banal “citizen of the world” Berlin address in which he played the race card…against himself.
File this book in the Unintentional Humor section.
Next to Nancy Pelosi’s tree-waster.

Will his ghost writer be his running mate?
Question:
Will Obama’s book beat Pelosi’s?
Perhaps.
But will it beat Tori Spelling’s?
Who knows.
Obama is continuously weakening his only selling point. He can win as a mystery candidate, but now he’s overexposing himself.
Too much of a bad thing makes America sick.
Waiting for the big O to rewrite the Bible and insert his name.
Normally I think of using paper as employing lumberjacks. With these political books, especially a book of re-cycled speeches in the middle of a campaign, I’m on the side of the trees instead.
Since he hangs with other domestic terrorists, I wonder if BHO received a “get out jail free” card from ELF (earth liberation front)?
When school starts next month,(before the elections) how many teachers will make this mandatory reading.
They are gonna say…that verb agreement is something I just can’t do.
Good thing my kids attend a virtual charter school!
Uhh – Change – uh, that, uh – We – uh – Can – uh, uhhh – Believe In – uh
Yep. Gottuh pick that one up.
This doesn’t surprise me. The only way he can “speak” is with teleprompters and in books. Spontaneous speeches usually end up as disasters. At least, in a book, he can have his 300 advisors go over each word, before it is sent to a publisher. His possible “future bosses”, Pelosi, Reid and Kennedy, get a look too, before it’s approved for release.
I wonder which version of his July 2, 2008 speech he will use, the one with or without his idea of a “civilian national security force” that’s every bit as capable, well-equipped, and well-funded as our military.
Definitely coming down with a bad case of Obama Overload. Maine Yankee’s thought #6, scares me a bunch.
So many words, so little substance.
I am still waiting to hear what change he is going to bring & HOW he is going to do it. (other than more taxes)
More nanny state and more taxes to cover it, babbledabble.
Somehow I’ll bet “bitter and clinging to their guns and religion” and “all 57 states” and……all the others, won’t make it in there.
Look for the TV movie coming out next week. LOL
why spend 14 bucks for this, when a 4 pack roll of sharmin is just a fraction of the cost?
Why all the negative vibes?
Perhaps this book lists his many accomplishments as a U.S. Senator and reveals where we can find the audio of all the things he’s always said no one seems to be able to locate.
I forgot to mention that Jerome Corsi will just have to write another book to debunk this one, his current book Obama Nation is #10 on Amazon, and is a must read. It does a great job of debunking what Obama put in his first two books, and bringing to print what Obama left out entirely.
Of course, my local Borders has a section up at the front “Read this before you Vote” – every anti-Bush book ever written is there, but none of McCain’s books nor this book – Obama Nation- is there. So, occasionally I help them out, and in my browsing I bring a book like this from the bottom shelf of the “politics & government” section up to the front and it finds its way to the “read this before you vote” section.
And besides, looks at those patriotic colors on the book’s cover .. er.. excuse me a minute.
[Morning, Miss. I'll have my eggs sunny side up and well done to about this color on my Blackberry screen].
Where was I?
Yet another of his “I Love Me, I’m So Great, I’m So Important.” vainity projects.
Hey Barack HUSSEIN Obama, perhaps you didn’t hear, but a recent poll I read about said Americans, even ones who support you, say they’re tired of hearing so much about you.
No. No. No. We wants ta hear a lot more from him. He’s gots some ’splainin ta do.
Great.
More dead trees that would have been better put to use as toilet paper.
“Barack Obama’s Plan…with foreward by Barack Obama”
He doesn’t even claim to author his own plan? I guess if it doesn’t sell he can say it’s not the plan he once knew.
It would be a heck of a note to have to throw youself under the bus, like that, huh?
Another book?
Now that’s news that can help Michelle’s kids.
Now, it’s only a matter of time until his followers start referring to his quotes the way a Baptist preacher cites the Bible. “Keep your tires properly inflated and get regular tune ups” (Obama 7:25). “We can’t keep our thermostats set at 72 degrees and drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want” (Obama 4:13). “Ummm, err, uhhh” (Obama 6:19).
I played with the book cover a bit with WinPaint..
left the title blank and the subtitle to speak for itself..
And all his little drone rush out to find out what thier opinions are. And they even pay good money for it. This is actualy a great move for Obama because his mind-slaves actualy pay him to get thier instructions!!!And they fall for it every. single. time.
Wonderful! Another tome about how
the change that can change from the
change of the past to the change of
tomorrow. I’m feeling dizzy.
Toilet paper is also a far better read.
So many of the folks featured in Obama’s last audacious book have gone under the bus, and so many of the stands Obama took therein have been flipped-flopped and discredited, that a new book is necessary. Please throw out the old book; it is no longer operative.
Perhaps Obama should consider publishing his newest ideas in a weekly magazine or daily tabloid format. These latter seem better suited to the change du jour that is Barack’s position on everything.
obama is so hot and pretty,i was for mcain until i saw obama in person,i am definitely buying his book
Bet it comes with syrup on the cover from all the waffles he’s made.
Titles you can end prepositions with.
Yes, that was an attempt at ironical humor. So was using “ironical”.
Okay. I’m hoping you forgot a “/sarcasm off” tag there at the end.
I fixed that book cover for Barack.
Here are the tags Amazon is suggesting for this book. They also say no one has tagged the book yet and invite people to do so. I’m thinking of somw right now, and they’re not Amazon’s suggested
ccampaign (1)

I was drinking coffee when I opened that up – I’ll have to NOT do that again…it can be embarrasing.
I was drinking coffee when I opened that up – I’ll have to NOT do that again…it can be embarrasing.
oopppss – I have no idea how that happened – MONDAYS – you gotta luv ‘em
Most people search for that one topic they really love to write about, for me it is food, for some here it is politics, for Berry it is the demigod he sees every morning when he looks in the mirror.
What’s next? Living Obama on E!?
Misscheryl:
I agree
I agree
Is it friday yet?
May his book be as big a success as Pelosi’s!
Subtitle, How to get rich off of the blind fools who follow you.
I have heard the ‘Citizen of the World’ only one other time..
Watching GI Joe cartoons with Cobra Commander doing his weekly address of terror.. ‘Citizens of the World, you will now witness the terror of. blah blah blah’..
Wow, what a waste of trees.
These trees could be put to better use, like baseball bats for needy children, chairs for needy children, and toilet paper for… well, everyone. I believe my office buys their TP from Lumber Liquidators.
I know the left as a group are big proponents of recycling; but lame speeches, talking points, and hackneyed policies are better left to mulch.
As he’s nothing beyond a cult of personality I can’t even consider voting for him. OK, maybe he has a left-wing agenda, if so he’s largely hiding it for now. Instead, it’s all about him. To use a popular marketing slogan, “it’s all about the O”. People mindlessly gathering around a charismatic leader, that’s third world stuff. Obama is our Castro. Let’s not allow him to take control of the reins of power.
“Citizens of the World”
At about 4:16 in..
sometimes you have to love YouTube..
If the cover is any indication, the only thing written by Obama is the forward. So who is writing all the things Barak claims as his own? Is he really just an
empty suit, puppet, front man for Nancy Pelosi in her bid to become Americas first Prime Minister. Will it be available in a Little Red version for quick reference?
Here’s an idea to boost sales. Don’t sell it at Amazon (or B&N or Borders), but sell it at Tractor Supply Company instead…right next to the waders and hipboots.
After all, Barry needs to reach out to them white folks…. *out*
that’s a great revision Ron.
And Change?
yeah… he’d change a lot… a lot of your money into someone else’s money.
just wondering, how many books did Hitler write?
Someone needs to photoshop “Puff, puff, pass…” as the title.
was this book aouthored by 12 people?
I’m only aware of one, Mein Kampf.
But he sure made a lot of pretty speeches… /sarc
This from someone who claims they want to “save the planet” from humankind’s “excesses” no less. Ha!
“With a Foreword by Barack Obama.” Can that possibly be correct??? My God, what audacity! The Foreword is supposed to be written by someone other than the author. Guess BHO couldn’t find/didn’t trust anyone else to do the job. Geesh. What an ego!
“If you want to know anything about me, read my first two books.”
“If you want to know anything about my policies, read my latest book.”
Extemporaneous speech no longer required.
I wonder what mr. socialist is going to do with the profits from this book.
Another word that comes to mind: vapid
Keep the change, Nobama. Please.
Maybe next is a cook book. He can have all of his “friends” submit recipes.
Hang on. Here’s another revision.
Think about it for a moment. Just how many of the “speeches” in his book are actually HIS words and HIS thoughts. Aren’t most of the “speeches” written by someone else? That can almost be stretched into plagiarism. The BO marketing/merchandising machine marches on.
I’ve been trying to plow through The Audacity of Hope for some time now.
It is one of the worst-written books I have ever read.
Not only does he not write with any emotion or personality whatsoever, he’s entirely uncreative: it’s just a loosely-collected jumble of all the worst of the Democrats’ talking points from over the last seven or eight years. There are a few parts that make a bit of sense, but a broken clock is, after all, right twice a day…
I wonder how many trees Obama is going to have to plant because of this useless book?
Obama has learned the lesson of “Aborgation” well, no doubt it will be used extensively in his new book.
