Maybe they can hook up with Kwame.

I’m sure Al Jazeera will be at the Republican convention, too. We just need to see the differences between their coverage of their chums in the democrat party versus their coverage of the people that are pointing out their terrorist ties, jihadism, and their support of fundamentalist islam that treats women like property.

Like Ann Coulter said, “We’ve finally given liberals a war against fundamentalism, and they don’t want to fight it. They would, except it would put them on the same side as the United States.”

Only issue I have with that is this notion that the DNC convention is important.

But yes… if a terrorist wanted to plan an attack, posing as an Al Jazeera photographer would be an easy way in. If the Dems think terrorist must like them cause they hate Pres. Bush… they should think again. They hate ALL of us.

Fixed that one for you, lgm.

Al jazeera for all its faults, is more accurate, and balanced, than Fox.

In what way? In the way that Fox reports that islam treats women as property and Al Jazeera actually does treat them as property?

Why would the democrats, staunch “defenders” of women’s rights, allow any jihadist view during their convention? Doesn’t this prove the democrats are really the hypocrites the intelligent world knows them to be? Of course it does!

So, at what point is Al Jazeera “balanced” where women’s rights are concerned? Maybe when they are doing their balancing act by sucking up to the democrats during the convention and then when they champion islam’s 10th century beliefs to their jihadi viewers.

If a conservative in this country held the same views as islam does toward women, the press would stop at nothing to keep a camera in his face and call him a monster. But the democrats welcome that islamic view with open arms. Otherwise, they would denounce it during their convention. Bet they don’t!

There, fixed it for ya! The chart shown here should help:

    http://perotcharts.com/category/challenges-charts/page/11/

Actually, you may have it half right (liberals with their half truths and doublespeak ). Clinton’s tax increases may have contributed; however, I couldn’t find data with which I could isolate the effect of the tax increase from the increase in government receipts due to the “bubble economics” we experienced during the run-up to y2k (commonly called the “.com bubble”, more accurately described as the: “Y2k scare bubble”). So, we’ll just have to argue opinion without knowing facts.

Amazing! How do you do it, lgm? You continue to confound me with your complete lack of reason, logic, and common sense.

The following is from the American Spectator, a few years back. It was an article about how Ireland went from 17% unemployment to less than 4% in 15 years, by cutting taxes. The reason it took 15 years? Socialism can destroy an economy overnight but it takes decades to recover from socialism. Here’s the excerpt.

…regardless of how high the top rate goes in the U.S., the income tax will not yield revenues amounting to more than 9 to 11 percent of personal income. Taxpayers always find ways to avoid punitive rates: Capital ships offshore. Talent migrates. Accountants become artists. Havens teem.

In the U.S., following two personal income tax rate increases in 1991 and 1995, income tax revenues actually dropped to 8.8 percent of personal income, less than the 10 percent collected in the late 1980s when the top rate was at its lowest: 28 percent.

If the percentage of personal income the government can collect in taxes is essentially invariable, then the only variable the government has to work with is growth. Only growth can reduce deficits and fund programs. And the only way to reliably increase growth is to boost incentives to work and invest by reducing taxes and tax proxies like regulation.

Did you get that lgm? More revenue was collected when the tax rates were lower than when the democrats rasied them. It’s very strange: here is a math teacher (someone that is supposed to be good with numbers) disregarding the facts that the numbers show.

    Amazing!

    Some answers:

    * I’m sure the Economist also will cover the Democratic convention.

To the detriment of their readership, you’re probably right. There is nothing to be learned at Obama’s Denver Revival.

    * MIT and Stanford

Which proves what, that you’re a trust fund naif with no real-world experience? We all guessed as much from your super-lib posts.

    * Fox reported the discovery of WMDs in Iraq every day for a year and never retracted a single claim.

And all that aluminum tubing was intended for what – toothpaste?

    * I’m a big opponent of fuzzy math, both in education and in politics (e.g. Reagan, Bush, Bush, McCain all claim they will balance the budget by cutting taxes while Clinton did balance the budget by raising them)

Again, the Republicans and Dick Morris tied clinton’s hands on the budget and taxes and excess spending; in fact, had clinton not over taxed the U.S. economy during that time, the dot com bubble burst might never have been so dramatic and its affects so severe.

Don’t feel too bad. I mean, for one, you went where Condi was a professor and then provost. And there are plenty of trust fun naifs with no real world experience who’ve made something of themselves.

George W. Bush – Yale (preceded by his time in Andover)

Dick Cheney – Yale (though he did “flunk out”)

Wolfowitz – Cornell and U. Chicago

Doug Feith – Harvard and Georgetwon

    Donald Rumsfeld – Princeton

And each of them, to one extent or another and for whatever time, have made decisions that have changed nations and the world for the better, while simultaneously reasserting America’s dominance and will to remain free and unimpeded. Can the same be said of clinton?

Al jazeera for all its faults, is more accurate, and balanced, than Fox.

Yup. They accurately predict all terrorists attacks and have a camera right there when it happens. Wonder why that is?
