“She ought to be shot. They gotta be stopped.”

By Michelle Malkin  •  August 14, 2008 03:41 PM

Well, I have a headache after listening to the new rap song, “Kill Bill O’Reilly.” How out of date are the rappers who composed this masterpiece? They saw fit to include me in their broadside despite the fact that I quit the show 10 months ago.

Anyway, if you’re a masochist and want to give yourself a migraine, here you go.

Don’t they have anything better to do? Rides to pimp? Ho’s to diss? Bling to steal?

For the rest of you, I’ve transcribed some of the choice “lyrics:”

REFRAIN

We gotta get ‘em, get ‘em.
We gotta chill ‘em, chill e’m.
We gotta get ‘em, get ‘em.
We gotta kill ‘em, kill ‘em.

Hate dominates like the Celts in the East
Michelle Malkin wants to snitch
Like you tell the police
She ought to be shot
They gotta be stopped

…We gotta shut down Fox News
That’s the way it has to be…

But as we all know, it’s not the left that’s hateful. It’s all on the right. We’re the haters. We’re the ones that murder people. These rappers are merely exercising their free-speech rights and pointing out our hateful ways.

    /sarc

Whenever I hear something like this, I feel worse and worse for my country. When I was young, it was OK to disagree with someone. Now it’s not. It appears that the left can’t stand anybody who doesn’t agree with their philosophy(?). We see it time and time again – I can say anything I want, but if you argue against it, then you are engaging in hate speech.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. The way things are going, I predict a civil war will break out within the next three years that will be worse than anything we’ve ever seen or could possibly imagine. And the core of it will be the intolerance of the politically-correct left and their illegal allies and assorted members of congress.

During the Civil War(War of Northern Aggression, for you south of the Mason-Dixon Line), many officers in the Union army resigned their commission to go fight for what they perceived as a just cause. Ultimately, their cause, what they saw as states’ rights, lost. It was once remarked that the civil war was fought over one word – it changed from “The United States ARE …” to “The United States IS …”

The upcoming conflict will be a fight for individual rights vs. the right of the state to control your thoughts and actions. This will be one fight we cannot afford to lose.

The scary thought is that when this breaks out, our enemies around the world will take the opportunity to not only attack us, but whatever allies we still have left.

Thank God we still have the right to keep and bear arms. Time to stock up, folks, before that right goes away, too.

That’s my humble opinion for today. Waiting for the resident trolls to come in and call me a liar.

    LoL. No, they wouldn’t.

Of course that’s the biggest irony lost on these idiots… they are spewing raw hate themselves…

It’s not lost on them. They’ve been raised in a culture – aided by liberals – who define anything they disagree with as “hate” while anything (up to and including assassination fascinations against our president) are defended as “free speech” and “free expression.”

One need look no further than yesterday’s post where we were blamed for the death of Arkansas Democratic Party Chairman Gwatney.

This is just the natural conclusion of “conservatives spew hate (read: conservatives disagree with liberal ideology) and must be thrown in jail.”

The real irony is that it is the left wing politicians that have advocated for stifling free speech more than any right winger. While a true conservative might not agree with someone’s point of view, they do not believe in censoring them. This applies to all forms of media, and most recently it’s been pushed heavily on video games. Hillary was all about that just a couple of years ago.

Of course, in this case, this is not only a death threat, but a call to arms against specific targets. They are openly conspiring, or premeditating, murder. And come to think of it, the record company, producers, and anyone else involved in releasing and distributing the message all have a hand in it. There is nothing different in this than a message from Osama calling on his followers to kill infidels.

Rap artists getting “involved” in politics usually ends with humorous results (Puffy Comb’s “Vote or DIE!”, Beastie Boys’ “To the 5 Boroughs”). However, there is NOTHING humorous about this.

The way things are going, I predict a civil war will break out within the next three years that will be worse than anything we’ve ever seen or could possibly imagine. And the core of it will be the intolerance of the politically-correct left and their illegal allies and assorted members of congress.

Just for one second imagine if this “song” had been done by a conservative against liberals. The outrage on the left would be deafening.

Understand though that the reason liberals can get away with it and conservatives can’t is because conservatives preach that such things are wrong whereas liberals do not. They can’t. Under a relativistic world view, how can one claim that any behavior is wrong? Conservatives claim that certain things are wrong, which means that when conservatives fail to uphold their own code of right and wrong, then liberals nail them on it. Conservatives can’t really pin anything on liberals because liberals don’t have an absolutist world view. Relativists can shift with the winds of popularity. Conservatives cannot, since they claim absolutes.

“It is interesting to note that the Left, which prides itself on its critical approach to ‘late capitalism’ and is unrelenting and unsparing in its analysis of our other cultural phenomena, has in general given rock music a free ride. Abstracting from the capitalist element in which it flourishs, they regard it as a people’s art, coming from beneath the bourgeoisie’s layers of cultural repression. Its antinomianism and its longing for a world without constraint might seem to be the clarion of the proletarian revolution, and Marxists certainly do see that rock music dissolves the beliefs and morals necessary for liberal society and would approve of it for that alone. But the harmony between the young intellectual Left and rock is probably profounder than that. Herbert Marcuse appealed to university students in the sixties with a combination of Marx and Freud. In Eros and Civilization and One Dimensional Man he promised that the overcoming of capitalism and its false consciousness will result in a society where the greatest satisfactions are sexual, of a sort that the bourgeois moralist Freud called polymorphous and infantile. Rock music touches the same chord in the young. Free sexual expression, anarchism, mining of the irrational unconscious and giving it free rein are what they have in common.”
