Then I’ll look for that correction in the next few days as well.

I hope they don’t leave out their usual, sophomoric expression for our Lord and Saviour – “Jeebus.”

That was in 1973. By 2007, support had risen by 4% and opposition had declined by 2%.

Of course, you fail to mention that prior to this poll, the preceding two years each showed opposition up by +5%, and the trend was towards declining support for Roe.

Isn’t “Roe” herself against Roe v. Wade?

But more to the point, Harris states that the sudden uptick in support may be due to the upcoming election or disapproval with Bush, which could have carried over to the polling results.

    And, of course:

All sample surveys and polls, whether or not they use probability sampling, are subject to multiple sources of error which are most often not possible to quantify or estimate, including sampling error, coverage error, error associated with nonresponse, error associated with question wording and response options, and post-survey weighting and adjustments. Therefore, Harris Interactive avoids the words “margin of error” as they are misleading. All that can be calculated are different possible sampling errors with different probabilities for pure, unweighted, random samples with 100% response rates. These are only theoretical because no published polls come close to this ideal.

Fox aired a documentary in place of O’Reilly tonight which I felt shed some very negative light on Obama. Showed his registration at a Catholic school in Indonesia listing his religion as Islam. It also tied him somewhat to Rezko.

Well, we can all just accept that McCain cheated. KO of MSNBC has spoken. McCain was not in a cone of silence and it would seem that the SS may have used blackberries to keep track of the questions as they were riding over to the church. He pretty much called Pastor Warren a liar, and stated that Andrea Mitchell was the epitome of an objective journalist.

In his own words, “If Tim Russert was the prince of objectivity, Andrea Mitchell is the queen.”

So, give it up already, case closed, Keith has spoken.

The big picture that everyone seems to be missing, is that even after The Golden Calf knew three or more questions, as well as what the gist of the interview was going to be like as far as the types of questions that were to be asked, he STILL blew it. He STILL could not get his answers out in a clear and concise and timely manner.

Thus, when you put The Golden Calf up against McCain, a Senator with not olny experience in the Senate and other levels of politics, but in something that The Golden Calf just can’t obtain in time or at all…LIFE EXPERIENCE…it really does come out into the forefront of the event.

All it ended up doing was highlighting just how horribly under-qualified for the position of Leader of the Free World and Most Powerful Man in the World The Golden Calf truly is.

I don’t think the Liberal’s whining is anything less than their own disappointment, disillusionment and embarrassment for having backed this empty suit in the first place.

It is becoming ever more apparent that The Golden Calf has probably made it as far as he has in his political life purely on his looks and the color of his skin.

You want to call me a racist for that statement, fine. I have been called worse. However, when you have such a large number of people who will come right out and say they are voting for him based solely on the fact that he is black, and “It is far time this country has a Black President”, then what else can anyone say?

He has not been as abrasive in the past as the others that came before him…jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and thus he has gone much farther than his political savy and experience could ever take him. All one has to do is go back four years ago to his speech at the Democratic National Convention, when he was a pure nobody but given a Prime time slot, and listen to what the commentary was to know that this, for all the Left’s threats and denials, truly has become a race for President based soley on the color of one candidate’s skin.

And that…my friends…is an injustice of epic proportions.

This is what happens when Obama doesn’t have the MSM to throw him the underhand lobs. It doesn’t matter what McCain knew or didn’t know. They were asked the same questions and they both gave the same answers they would have given anyway.

Obama’s problem is that he’s funded by the loons on the left and he can’t give a conservative answer to anything although 80% of the country take conservative positions on most issues.

The White House is definitely above Obama’s pay grade.

    LGM,

Just to qualify your poll data, you might want to also disclose this statement, immediately found above your wiki link:

Pro-life activists have disputed whether the Harris poll question is a valid measure of public opinion about Roe’s overall decision, because the question focuses only on the first three months of pregnancy.[39] [40] The Harris poll has tracked public opinion about Roe since 1973:[41]

I wonder what the answers would be if the question was asked a different way?

    My 2 cents.

I think we’re going to see some strict terms coming out of the Obama camp for any future debates between him and McCain.

    Like:
    1. Only Andrea Mitchell (who will be the mediator for all debates) can ask questions.
    2. McCain is not allowed to hear the full question, only the first 3 words.
    3. Obama gets the list of question’s a week in advance.
    4. Only CNN will be allowed to air the debates or comment on them.
    5. No one is allowed to clap for McCain’s answers.
    6. All camera’s will focus either on McCain’s bulging cheek or Obama’s award winning smile.
    7. There will be no question’s about the military or abortion.
    8. And under no circumstances is anyone allowed to reference race in any debate for any reason, unless it’s Obama himself talking about how he doesn’t look like other Presidents.

Please feel free to add to the list…

I gotta say of coarse McCain heard the questions, and so has Obama. Does anyone believe, that either one of them didn’t know they were gonna get a question on abortion,or gay marriage? No the difference comes when you don’t remember what lie you told in the past or who you’re trying to please with a particular answer. It was pretty obvious that John McCain knew the questions and knew the answers where Mr O is still chasing votes.

    adding to MrVibeman’s list:

    9) Only Obama’s allowed to borrow from his wife and answer with, “this conversation’s not helping my children” when he’s stumped, or doesn’t like the question.

    10) Only Obama’s allowed to say, “that’s always been my position” when it totally hasn’t.

    11) Only Obama (and any other Dem for that matter) is allowed to get a free pass from the MSM until it’s flowing over the brim of the blogosphere and can no longer be contained – then, only to be reported as a fraudulent right-wing attack.

    12) Only Obama can go overseas and tell the rest of the world how much america sucks, and still be sooo loved by sooo many here at home (Oops, I’m wrong on that one. There’s Jimmy Carter, Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi, etc).
