Sore loser: Obama and Obamedia accuse McCain of “cheating”

By Michelle Malkin  •  August 18, 2008 12:52 AM

No, really. The Obama camp and its media water-carriers are seriously accusing John McCain of “cheating” in his appearance over the weekend at Rick Warren’s Saddleback church forum because he was in his motorcade when the program started– and then escorted to an empty room without media hook-ups. NBC’s Andrea Mitchell spread the unsubstantiated rumor that somehow McCain heard Obama’s questions while on his drive. The nutroots went, well, nuts. The NYTimes piled on (“Despite Assurances, McCain Wasn’t In a ‘Cone of Silence’“). The McCain camp has protested.

And now we have the spectacle of the Democrat presidential nominee and his press entourage bleating about the “cone of silence” because he didn’t fare as well as his opponent.

Yes, the Obama has just confirmed that it is operating in a cone of abject stupidity. Maybe a little less fun in the sun next time, eh, Barry O?

The event wasn’t even head-to-head. How is the Obama team going to behave should The One wipe out in an official debate this fall? The wah-mbulance will be working overtime.

Oh, and I think we know where the Left is headed again. Remember “Is Bush Wired?”

Predicting a massive run on tin foil from now until November…

***

More:

Warren told CNN Sunday evening, “we flat out asked him” if he heard any of the questions. The McCain campaign “confirmed that McCain did not hear or see any of the broadcast” in the motorcade or after he arrived, Ross said.

When asked if McCain overheard anything, Charlie Black, a McCain adviser who was with him at the time, told CNN: “We were in motorcade until 5:30 p.m. ET; then a holding room in another building with no TV.”

Warren said, “I trust the integrity of both” candidates, and said he “knew they would abide by the rules.” He joked McCain may not have been in the cone of silence, but “he was in the cone of a Secret Service motorcade”.

Scott Ott: Har. How McCain breached the cone.

This Obamination McSwish debate high lights the flaw of the Lincoln Douglas debates of 1858. The Lincoln Douglas debates were totally politically incorrect due to it’s confrontation format. They actually spoke to each other. Hopefully we have learned our lesson here and in the future no risk of speak between Obamination and McSwish will occur and the debate will be conducted in Hip-Hop sign (another change). McSwish is here disadvantaged because his hands are so small.

I watched the forum at my Brother-In-Law’s house and my 13 year old nephew got it right (so proud of him). He said that Obama is trying to be all things to all people.

(full disclosure here: I am NOT a John McCain fan at all)

The impression I got is that Barry was talking around the questions and playing a mental chess game to organize his thoughts on how to best answer the question.. (pandering)

John McCain was able to answer them right out without too much beating around the bush.. and answered more questions as well.

I did come away with a new respect for the man..

    I loved Mitchell’s quote:

    [McCain] seemed so well prepared.

For her, most Democrats and all Liberals, the only way McCain could be so well prepared, is not due to experience, intelligence, or a well-organized campaign staff, but because he must have “cheated.”

It makes sense – Liberals exist only by cheating others. They can’t conceive of someone succeeding on merit.

Oh, and I think we know where the Left is headed again. Remember “Is Bush Wired?”

First thought that came to my mind, Michelle.

See the face of the modern donkey party:

“If we lose an election, you must have cheated; If we lose a debate, you must have cheated.”

Of Napoleon Hill’s “Seven Major Negative Emotions,” (Jealousy, Greed, Fear, Anger, Hatred, Superstition and Revenge) the one on display here is Superstition.

Notice how every time things don’t go the way they want, donkeys immediately dredge up strained, borderline supernatural “explanations” invoking some unseen and nefarious external force or influence? “Bush wore a wire!” “McCain escaped the Cone of Silence!” “Black voters were suppressed in Florida!” Whatever…

The trouble with the major negative emotions — the liberal emotions — is that they usually work together in toxic “cocktails” that produce layered expressions of mental illness.

    For example:

Blend Supersitition with Jealousy and Greed, and the idea of personal responsibility for one’s state of affairs is supplanted by an externally-focused “Oppressor/Victim” mindset: the reason you don’t get everything you want out of life has nothing to do with your choices; it’s because _____________ has cheated you (fill in the blank with “Big Oil,” “Whitey,” “The Man,” “Neocons,” “George Bush,” “The Jews,” “Capitalists,” “Republicans,” “The Religious Right,” or any other politically correct bogeyman du jour).

Mix Superstition with Hatred and Fear and you get Paranoia and its requisite conspirazoid view of the world: Republicans are capable of anything — anything!!

Adding Anger to any of these brews is like spiking a drink with pure alcohol.

And the ultimate state of mind that results from a class-based worldview of liberal heroes vs. conservative villains is Revenge: confiscatory, redistributionist tax schemes, resurrecting the “fairness” doctrine, silencing FOX News, threatening Michelle with physical harm and death, pursuing fanciful criminal indictments against Bush Administration officials even after they’ve left office, nationalizing the oil companies, stripping the secret ballot to force unions on employers through intimidation, and on and on.

The “Seven Major Liberal Emotions” are why, when I claim that liberalism is a mental disorder, it’s not for dramatic effect.

McCain did better because his answers were sincere, not nuanced and blubbering like Obama’s. He answered directly and with conviction, no waffeling. The reason the dems think he cheated is because that is what they would have done if given a chance. They can’t imagine why someone wouldn’t cheat! The word “honor” is not in the liberal vocabulary.

There were many times in the republican debates when McCain was asked a question and you could here Rudy or Mitt giving him clues as to the answers. McCain cannot even find Iraq on a map seriously. I have seen live townhalls where McCain was asked two questions at once and he couldn’t remember the first question if the second one was to long for him to focus on. If I only thought McCain actually believed most of what he said it might make a difference to me. I have been fooled too many times by RINOs. I am just not buying it. Color me 3rd party this year.

As prez you need to sometimes fly by the seat of your pants and not think about everything that comes out of your mouth…

JMc answered easily and quickly.. he wasn’t worried about trying to pander and say what he thought the folks there would want to hear.

If the Obamessiah is trotting out the “McCain’s answers were good because he cheated!”, doesn’t that pretty much shoot holes in the left’s mantra that Obama won this little shindig?

I mean, if Obama felt like he won, he would have belittled McCain’s answers. By complaining that McCain’s answers were so good because he cheated, The One is confirming that McCain had better answers…otherwise, Obama would feel no need to acknowledge McCain’s performance.

Obama lost, and his bellyaching is proof that he knows it.

I actually looked at this idea ahead of time, and I think it is a great idea;” 3.) John McCain actually requested that he and Barack Obama do the forum together on stage at the same time, making these kinds of after-the-fact complaints moot.

Well, looks like the one who is protesting, is the one who actually ADMITS to cheating.

The Hill gang is soooo steamed, and this performance by THE ONE is only going to make them even more frustrated their gal is not the winner. You can just see her up there in her lovely in pink pant suit and giving a much stronger performance and her loyal gang can see it too! We may not hear about the fireworks unless it leaks out via the internet, but there will be warrrhhh at this Convention. I foresee many a Hillary supporter body in the replicated GITMO cages in Denver!

The reason THE ONE, his camp and the MSMLSDs are screaming the victim mantra is because that is all he and they know. It is their foundation. Then when you add to this their opinions that they are the smartest people on the planet, you have a mixture that only produces an ego maniac. The Clintons pulled this off, but THE ONE cannot.

Now we just need to pray McCain does not nuke everything in sight by naming a pro-choice VP! Someone in the McCain camp- take that shotgun out of his hand that is aimed at his foot!
