Posters on MM seem very interested in looks.

Yeah, it’s conservatives who put up candidates like Obama and Edwards for their principles 100%, right…cough..cough.

Anyways, I don’t seem MM posters saying how they want to make history by voting for the first “Black” (biracial) president in history, or how cute John Edwards is.

I don’ see them saying “well, we’ve got Barack, all you have is Grandpa at the cheese stand”.

Yeah, liberals sure are for the little guy alright.

Unless, of course, I’ve missed those and you’d like to point them out to me?

I don’t care for the famous types and what they have to say, but Ms. Barr’s rant does make me like that couple more!

Believe me, when people working in Hollywood are ambivalent in stating their politics, it means they lean right.

I really kind of doubt it in this case. Publicly and outwardly, Brad Pitt has been a very vocal supporter of the Democrats, in line with pretty much everyone those two (publicly, at least) associate with. Angelina Jolie has accused Bush of turning the world against the U.S., said that citizens of other countries wonder “why the American people re-elected” Bush in light of his disastrous foreign policies, criticized the war’s impact on displaced Iraqis, and over the last few years has seemed far more concerned about the situation in Darfur and assembling a Josephine Baker-esque family than anything bandied about on this site. I think her statements on voting are pure obfuscation for now. But I highly doubt they plan — with any conviction — to vote Republican.

A fat, ugly, spiteful, malevolent woman spews nasty, malicious insults about a pair of successful, popular, good-looking and seemingly good-hearted people.

What part of this is surprising? Or interesting?

It does however, shed some light on the nature of the liberal soul and the liberal movement. Bar isn’t the only one of her sort.

It might be amusing for people on the right to start holding up Barr as the emblem of liberalism. Something along the lines of “Oh. So you’re one of those Roseann Barr types…“. That ought to get a rise out of them. :-)

    I have heard Roseanne lately..

of all places.. On the old Art Bell show, Coast to Coast.. (George Nories Nores? hosts it now) she called in to plug some Vegas resort (”.. And if you call now, you can get a suite right on the Vegas Strip.” )

listening to her, she was totally walking through the script.. no excitement or anything.. I could almost hear between the lines, ‘this is what I’m reduced too? kill me now’.

Ah yes, Rosanne…the most classless, vulgar woman in Hollywood.

I thought that was Rosie O’Donnell - or is she a woman?

I liked your post, but doesn’t the fact that you know so much about her life conflict with how little you care for her “newsworthy” commentary.

In the 90’s, during “it’s” heyday, it was virtually impossible to NOT know anything about her, as for some ungodly reason, she was constantly in the news. Add to that my years spent in the entertainment industry working in film and television, and I was in touch with what was going on. But I appreciate your attempt to make it seem other than what it was. Didn’t work, but nice try.

Let me see if I can explain it to you in the juvenile form with which your mind seems to work.

It is not that we are into “looks”, so much as it is a bit like looking at a train wreck. You don’t want to look or notice it, but when it is something that horrid, you just can’t help but notice, let alone comment on it, or avert your eyes.

Now, why don’t you take that same thought of yours and toddle off to your troll sites and attempt to clean up your own types before taking on others where you do not belong and are far from being welcome.

Now that you mention it, she has been awfully quiet for some time now. Maybe she finally realized just how irrelevant she really is.

Sorry, I know…but sometimes, you just gotta dream.

Roseanne is similarly a frightened little girl in a tutu for bashing Obama:

Obamunist Roseanne Barr Used to Call Obama an “Empty Suit”

barak obama is an empty suit selling “hope” in lieu of Truth. Oprah Winfrey helped to elect Arnold Swartzenegger. I have no doubt that she voted her purse by doing this, as she is a large land owner in California, and that ilk fears Dems because they do not want to pay their “fair share” of Cali tax. Oprah has given us Swartzenegger and Dr. Phil. If that was not offensive enough to decent thinking people, now she brings us Obama. He has no ideas, no plan and nothing to add other than the cynical pacification of the masses with bedtime stories about hope, while calling Unions “special interest groups” that need to be done away with.
