The Helen Thomas story is unlike, “The Portrait of Dorian Grey.” She has become as physically ugly as she is as a person. The only mitigating factor is that she obviously has a degree of Alzheimer’s and the first thing they lose is manners. But aside from that, she reminds me of what Hitler’s German Shepherd would look like if it were still alive.
The media like her because she is as rude and disrespectful as they would like to be and such an old hag that politicians and gentleman are reluctant to tell her, “Shut your pie hole and sit down, beeatch!” Can you imagine her having a cardiac arrest on camera – which of her media pals would administer mouth to mouth resuscitation – YUCK! can you imagine what her children would look like if she had mated with Yessir Arafat? Not even human – they would look like mole rats.
I hope they bury her in the same grave as Dan Rather.

I lost 28 lbs with ~~Jenny Craig~~ Helen Thomas. It was easy, I taped pitcures of her to my fridge and all of our cabinets that held food. I did not consider the law of unintended consequences though. My wife lost 17 lbs., our sex life was ruined, my dog starved to death and my children were taken away by protective services, while I was charged with neglect of a minor. Not just because of them losing weight, but because they were traumatized to the point their grades dropped, they seemed depressed and their teachers thought they were on drugs. All this from looking at Helen’s mug for two months. I was found guilty and sentanced to one year probation and 40 hours community service.

I think next time I will just order a Bowflex.

She was booed as my university’s commencement speaker in 2003 for her remarks about the war and President Bush.

Thomas was derided by the local paper as, “a poor choice” for the commencement.

BTW, if Helen leaned the other way, she would be unlikely to berate a Republican President at a news conference. She’d likely go after the Democrats, so I stand by my original assertion that you would likely have a different stance as it relates to this thread in that instance.

As much as I appreciate her lethal sarcasm, if Ann Coulter sat in front of Bill Clinton at every press conference and non-stop embarrassed him about Serbian civilian casualties, racist non-action in Rwanda, possible war crimes and the depletion of world respect for the USA due to this and that personal scandal…I’d like to think that I would have the level patriotism which would cause me to say, “hey Ann, buzz off.”

But I concede the difficulty in realizing such a hypothetical, because I don’t think it would ever happen.

Somewhere, there is a picture of helen Thomas in some attic that keeps getting younger and prettier.

Now, why do you think the Left has such fugly types that go around as their mouth pieces, and the Right has such, well let’s face it…incredibly hot and intelligent babes?

That is because hate and anger and all that stuff will eat away at a person’s soul and their looks. Eventually, there is nothing left to them but what HT has ended up looking like.

Hate and anger and racism and dishonesty will ruin a person’s looks just as fast as it ruins their lives. All one has to do is look at that picture that was linked above, study the women pictured there, realize their personalities and what they are like in public, (I can’t get myself to imagine them in private) and you can see exactly what it is I am talking about.

That, and all the dope smoking affs a few thousand miles to them as well.

I’ve said it here before, and at the risk of irritating certain liberals’ sensibilities, I’ll say it again. On September 11, 2001, I walked through a wall of fire and came out on the other end, able to see things more clearly than I was ever able to before.

Your post summed up my feelings exactly. 9-10: I humored the likes of Helen Thomas. 9-11: I realized that humoring the likes of Helen Thomas will be our undoing.

While some of the comments approached the line, I don't feel that any of them crossed it. I think a lot of conservatives take pleasure in the fact that there are several conservative women who are very attractive (Ann Coulter, Michelle, Sarah Pallin, Laura Ingraham, Katherine Ham, etc). The liberal side includes Ms. Thomas, Hillary, Roseanne Barr, etc. Judge for yourself here My opinion is that a lot of the commenters were just enjoying this fact. Maybe a persons appearance does have something to do with karma.

Personally, I have always preferred Will Farrell as Janet
Reno instead of Janet Reno as herself. Now, if we could just find someone to dress up like Helen Thomas
instead of having to look at the real thing! Talk about
Coyote Ugly!!!! (…and not just in looks but in actions,
speech, etc..)
