The fuss over Obama’s brother
Much fun has been had with the story of Barack Obama’s “lost” brother, George Hussein Onyango Obama, who lives in a hut in Kenya.
It is said that Obama should have done more to help his impoverished sibling.
Actually, this may be one of the few times Obama did taxpayers a favor — by not bringing his unemployed brother here to live off the welfare state.

George Hussein Onyango Obama must not have been good for Michelle O’s kids.
He does not have to bring him here to help him. A couple hundred dollars a month would help that brother of his get an education and be a productive person in his own country.

I can’t think of a better illustration of why Obama should have more to be proud of relating to this country. You can argue that just the happenstance of where he grew up gave him the opportunties vs. his half brother’s situation. For all we know, this round headed sibling living in a hut is even smarter than O, just lacking the same chance…

If you have even the tiniest glimmer of hope that Michelle and I might bail you out, forget it. Unfortunately, even though our average rate of giving to charity over the past five years has been a generous 2% of our income (it’s a matter of public record — see our tax returns), the millions of dollars that we bring-in each year are ear-marked for higher purposes – like making certain that Rev. (hate whitey) Wright can live in a palace – but as for helping an impoverished family member, well, that’s just “above our pay grade.” Asta la vista bro.

The one thing that most of the media missed is that almost all of his family who are not in the U.S. live in squalor — on the dole, in hut, I don’t like green eggs and Ham — , and yet Barry has done quite nicely. The issue that make this a relevant story for me is that BO wants *me* to support his half-brother:

As I understand it his “baby” brother is living on about $12.00 a year. So for $12.00 plus postage a year Barry could double his brother’s annual income!
I kind of like what I know of George Obama actually. Likes football, wants to better himself, not afraid to fight back when attacked.. Seems to be cut from a little different cloth then Barry boy. Perhaps because suffering builds character in some.

Rush had a funny line about George’s accomodations. He said that is what BHO wants for all of us. A 6′x 9′ hut with no electricity. How much more green can you get? And all for $1 a month. Sign us all up, except for BHO, Algore and cronies, who will need to keep their mansions in order to have secure areas where they can think of new ways to make our lives better, while keeping us safe from those evil Republicans.

I don’t think making light of a man who is ashamed of his circumstances is very compassionate. Just political. Go after Senator Obama all you want. He’s opened himself up to it. Jimmy Carter and Roger Clinton had all the chances in the world and were still goofy. I’m not sure this guy has had the same luck.

Kenya used to be a model of Africa, as did Uganda, Rhodesia & South Africa. Now that the “rightful owners” have been given absolute sovereignty over these once prosperous lands, they’ve become cesspools of humanity, picking in garbage dumps and robbing what few tourists who still come blind. Nairobi and surrounding areas have some of the biggest slums in the world.
Have you looked closely at this picture?? It reminds me of people I have visited in Mexico. You will see a wall like this and they actually put broken glass in the mortar of the wall It makes them look poor on the outside but behind the wall they have a really nice house with complete modern furnishing electronics etc… I see a house behind this wall. To me it looks like a play for sympathy.

Democrats always say they are concerned about the poor as long as they get to spend other people’s money.
Barry Soetoro is just as much a filthy deceiver as the rest of the Democrats and most of the Republicans as exemplified by his unwillingness to help his own half-brother with a few dollars a month.
Anyone truly concerned about the poor would be willing to give their own family members some help.

If I had Obama’s money, I would have a very guilty conscience if I didn’t help my own brother if he was living in some hut somewhere. Maybe it’s because we were taught that family was important. Unless he refused help, I would make sure he got on his feet, got a skill, and moved forward. The same would be for me, from him. It’s morally correct. Fortunately, only a sister has been down. But, I’ve had good friends who needed help. It’s called compassion.
