Tides Foundation official indicted for theft
The Tides Foundation is one of those high-minded, left-wing “social justice” non-profits funded with Soros money and Teresa Heinz Kerry money. You also know Tides as one of the funders of John McCain’s open-borders Reform Institute.
The foundation is in the news again, but you won’t hear the do-gooders saying much about this:
A former official at a San Francisco charity has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges that he stole more than $132,000 over three years, court records show.
Jason Ramon Sanders, 37, of San Francisco, who has served as philanthropic adviser of the Tides Foundation, was named in an indictment handed down Tuesday by the grand jury in San Francisco.
He faces a single count of theft within the special maritime and territorial jurisdiction of the United States, because the charity is located in the Presidio.
The foundation has funded environmental and social justice projects since 1976 and also provides philanthropic advice, according to its Web site.
The indictment accuses Sanders of stealing $132,600 from February 2005 to March 2008…
…Reached by phone, Sanders paused before saying, “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” then hung up.

What? Huh, Hmm, What? I don’t know what you’re talking about…
OK, gotta say it:
“This is not the Tides Foundation I knew”.
sureeeeeeee ya don’t
Explain to me again who are the do-gooders? I can’t seem to locate many.
That money simply floated out on the tide.
Look in his freezer….
LOL… If he worked with a certain Congressman, yup. Look there.
Does anyone on this blog have a simple chart of all these interconnecting foundations and trusts. Please excuse my simple mind but I’m having a hard time keeping up.
I’m shocked, simply shocked. Off to Star Bucks for my latte rio grande…
You know what guys? I have listed myself as a voulenteer to be deployed for a month now and even with them doubling the troops in Afganistan, I have not yet gotten the call. what is going on?

my rant for the day.
Money is green right? So if its green and in SanFran, then a little green lining pockets has gotta be better for the environment….its not plastic. And, we all know what a sin it is in California to possess plastic.
Uh, at least that’s how I interpret how a leftist will justify the loss.
Family man, actually at one time there was a chart out there try googling soros money chart….. if i recall Oreilly had it on his show but not certain.
oreilly-20070423-chart.jpg
Thanks ajmontana
And how far do all these foundation, alliances and trust reach out. The Money trail looks incredibly pervasive.
all the way to the cemetery family man….
heh. shocker.
Sanders later told Bill Moyers that he was, umm, ah, “Putting it in a separate account to ummm, let’s see here…umm, help out Michelle’s kids. Yeah, that’s the ticket.
IT’S GEORGE BUSH’S FAULT!
IT’S THE WAR’S FAULT!
IT’S GLOBAL WARMING’S FAULT!
IT’S …….
OOOHHH NOOO tre is channeling LGM.
It’s got to George Bush’s fault !
soros money http://www.earstohear.net/soros.html
Another reason I refuse to buy, or use, Heinz. I only buy Hunts Ketchup. Not exactly on subject, But I just love every chance I get to dis the Kerry/Heinz royal family.
I thought the left disliked the corruption that comes from private wealth like Soros. What happen to the MSM on this subject?
Auggie Dog #20…Me Too…
Another thanks to Reg.conservative
Quickly! Some body turn on Rush Limbaugh to get lgm out of my head!
Here’s another one for you, Family Man:
Discover the Networks
Didn’t Soros make his billions with this capitalistic threat?
Thank you, CJ. I remember seeing that one a long time ago, but forgot the URL to it. An excellent reference.
lol, family man asked and now with all that BS his head is going to explode.
That is intentional, FamilyMan.
Thanks everyone. Discover the Networks gives me pause. How can anyone follow all these connection?

THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELLS YOU!!!
THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELLS YOU!!!
THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELLS YOU!!!
Did LGM get out of your head yet???
(apologies to the christians out there…)
Yeah. And what about the howl when Bush said that some of these services could be provided by “faith based” organizations. I guess because it had faith in his suggestion. You can’t let a church come between government and the people. Isn’t that true Revs. Sharpton, Jackson, Pfleger and Wright?
bedje, The democrats are okay with governement approved churches. You know, like china.
sonofdy, oops! Sorry! My Bad!
Wrong number perhaps….
Never shocked by theiveing democrats or republicans in “philanthropic” organizations, I have only one pertinent question:
Where the sam hill do I get a degree in “philanthropic adviser?” That’s got to be one cushy job: write a check for Moby Dick, send a money order to Africa, I need a new jag.
Crikey. (Hope Michelle didn’t copyright that word).
bedje, That alright, they will have these wonderfull camps you can got to. The people will help you understand what you need to. The work will help your body get stronger. When you are
releasedI mean go home, you will have the proper mindset and will gladlysnitchrecommend your fellow conservatives for this same great experience!!!Because faith based organizations don’t get that tax benefit that the so-called “foundations” funded by the elite do-gooders looking for a place to dump excess income and get huge write-offs. If you start diverting money to faith based groups, the Hienie/sKerry (he served in Viet Nam you know) and the moveon ogres will lose their tax breaks. We can’t have that.
Besides, those were legitimate foundation expenses used to promote the general welfare and well-bling of the masses. /sarcasm
Thanks Sonofdy! That did it!
And if you ever need a quick reminder of what you learned, the new Brownshir…uh…I mean Civilian National Security Force will be there to help you out.
In the voice of Forrest, Forrest Gump: I am not a smart man, but I can follow a money trail.
HOPE AND CHANGE (obama salute)
Ask not what you can do for your country, Ask what you country can do for you. Hail Obama!!!!
OBAMA for god president, 2016!!!
Guitarplayer, Work?? Did you say work??I don’t understand the concept.
I was quoting sonofdy. He is the one we should blame for introducing such an alien concept.
Whew!! Had me scared there for a minute. I can’t afford to have anything happen to my “subsidized” government income.
You will work in these wonderfull camps. Those forests and cheap running shoes will not make themselves. We progressives learned much from our
chinesseprogressive leaders. All hail OBAMA!!!OBAMA for god president, 2016!!!
Well… as long as it’s for the “Big O”, wha can complain? Anyway, if you do you will be drawn and quartered immediately. After all, this IS for the betterment of the few, the proud, the great one.
wha=who. Back to school for me.

Actually reminds me of my Worthless Nephew #1. I was doing some installing some drywall in my brother’s house, and saw WN#1 standing outside and watching me through the window. Near as I can tell, he’d heard his uncle was going to do this thing called “work”, and wanted to see what that was. But, to be on the safe side, he was going to stand at a safe distance so he would be infected by the urge to, I don’t know, pick up a hammer or something.
OT - I do like Heinz ketchup, too much to switch, but I offset the money paid for the ketchup 2X to the local RTL organization.
was
doing someinstalling someoops.
“would” = “wouldn’t”
seesh.
Why blovate over this. You should be happy if someone stole $100K of Soros money that otherwise would have gone to Commie Socialist anti American charity.
brushman, sounds like Nephew #1 has graduated from the school that sonofdy is talking about. Even sounds like he graduated with honors. Being able to get that close to work and all.
Good point.
Concretebob, you have a way with words. I was cleaning up coffee over the moveon ogres then got to the well-bling. oops again.
Sonofdy, I’m a christian and I’m not offended because it is true. He compels us to be good productive law abiding citizens, nothing wrong with that.
Wasnt Me < < > > >Wasnt Me
FamilyMan, you might also check the Bhuddist Monk Web Site. I think they have some kind of chart too. Also see, Charlie Tree, the tenement in Chinatown, etc.
Do you have so many worthless nephews that you have to number them? You’re not a closet liberal are you. (Just joking).
.
Who are the lawbreakers, the evils ones, again? What’s that? Conservatives? Republicans?
I thought so.[/sarcasm]
Hi!
I thought I had read they, (Kerry’s & the Ketchup’s) were unrelated. Are they the same Heinz ?
Yes, I know its a small point in the scheme of things, but I too practice discrimination in my purchases. Just as I don’t purchase DVDs & CDs that use actors and artists who’ll air anti-Americanism in oversea venues, I wouldn’t buy food/supplies from a company whos majority owner is of Heinz bent.
jtex -
there are 2 nephews and 2 nieces (one of the nieces is ok, even though she goes to a well known left-wing liberal women’s college), so there are WN1, WN2, WN3.
Thanks for asking
SWMBO, thats what happens when you hang out on these extreme right wing blogs.
Sorry about the mess.
Proof positive that even somebody as obtuse as our own Pet Troll can occasionally blindly stumble into the truth.
Way to go, lgm!
That’s ok concretebob, I buy keyboards by the dozen now because I feel soooooo at home here. Extreme right wing bloggers give me a warm fuzzy!
Laughter is certainly the best medicine.
