OMG, they are rolling thru town in caravans as we speak… you can spot them all, SUVs with Cali license plates, pulling U-Hauls with their GPS’s and Chavez/Obama/Peace stickers plastered all over the windows

They were selling buttons and stuff on the 16th Street Mall this afternoon.

I originally planned to work from home, but my project bumped out a week. That means I’ll be smack in the middle of the convention hotels Mon-Wed. My client is closing at 2pm on Thurs because of the I-25/Invesco mess. In addition to all of the additional security plans. Ugh.

Mason Tvert, the lardbutt doper loudmouth, is behind the pot laws thing in Denver.

Me, I’m glad that I live out east. There’s a Buckley Air Force base (with a large “Deadly Force” zone in it) and a lot of old Army buddies of mine in the National Guard between Denver and me.

And if things do get out of hand, don’t forget that part of CO Army NAtional Guard is the 3/19 Special Forces. Battle hardened from Iraq, got back in this summer wiht zero casualties.

Seen Blackhawks and a few Chinoooks all over the place recently, as well as the usual F-16 patrols for NOTHCOM flying from Buckley (and presumably Ft Carson for the Chinooks).

I and my family are staying way away from Denver until the nutjobs clear out.

One thing to note: the media is buzzy happy, unlike most of the rest of us who’d rahter they whole thing just go away quietly, so factor that in if you visit local news sites.

Another thing: if there turn out to be riots, or huge groups of dope smoking idiots roving at large, that may push CO into the (R) column, as more of the “middle” voters see the Dems for who they are: leftards.
