RNC’s new radio ad: McCain’s a bigger Hispanderer than Obama!

By Michelle Malkin  •  August 22, 2008 02:57 PM

Here is the latest RNC radio ad for John McCain. Message: McCain fought harder for illegal alien shamnesty, so Latinos should vote for him!

Just another reminder, my friends, that the GOP establishment continues to 1) treat Hispanics as a monolithic bloc of open-borders sheep; 2) put p.c. pandering above the rule of law; and 3) thumb its nose at the conservative base in pursuit of votes they’re not going to get anyway.

RNC Launches New Radio Ad: “Commitment v. Rhetoric”

WASHINGTON – The Republican National Committee (RNC) today announced a new Spanish-language radio advertisement, titled “Commitment v. Rhetoric.” As the Democrats prepare for their national convention in Denver, the radio ad will remind voters that Barack Obama has consistently shown a lack of leadership in defending the interests of the Latino community, while John McCain has consistently taken on the difficult issues facing America.

The Spanish-language ad will begin airing on Monday, August 25. It will air statewide in CO, including Denver, Colorado Springs/Pueblo, Aspen, and Fort Collins/Greeley. The ad will also air in Albuquerque and Las Cruces, New Mexico; Las Vegas, Nevada; and El Paso, Texas.

Title: “Commitment V. Rhetoric”

How do you know someone is a friend?

You know because they stand up and defend you when it is hard.

When Hispanics needed a friend in Congress during the immigration debate… Who stood up? Who spoke out?

John McCain.

Senator McCain worked with Republicans and Democrats alike to form immigration legislation.

And while the bill didn’t pass, only McCain demonstrated a real commitment to reforming immigration in a way that honored our laws as well as our immigrants and traditions.

And Barack Obama?

Obama did not stand up. Obama did not speak out. And when the time came for him to do the right thing, he did not.

Obama supported measures designed to insert a deadly “poison pill” to kill the immigration legislation.

If Obama didn’t even have the courage to stand up for immigrants, how can he claim to have the strength to change the way Washington works?

John McCain is ready to lead. Barack Obama is not.

2006: McCain-Kennedy Comprehensive Immigration Reform (sic) bill specified 90 days for the waiting period for a Z visa to accomplish background and health checks for 12 to 30 million applicants – an obvious impossibility.

2007: cynical John McCain changed “90 days” to “one business day”.

24 hours before allowing 12 to 30 million illegal aliens to be granted immediate permanent residency and a pathway to citizenship.

    Perfidy. Treason, even.

Why does The National Council of the Race (la raza in spanish) and the Chamber of Commerce get to negotiate a “Comprehensive Shafting of The American Citizens” behind closed doors? Since when does an organization representing foreign nationals breaking our laws get to rewrite our immigration laws to suit the lawbreakers? Isn’t this akin to allowing NAMBLA to rewrite our laws regarding child predators? Or allowing organized crime syndicates to rewrite racketeering, gambling, prostitution, and extortion laws?

We The People are being told by our representatives that we should sit down and shut up while they invite in the entire world. We The People should get some say in this matter. Another amnesty will set off a stampede like we have never seen before. There is not much time to save our country. All the power and money are on the side of shoving this amnesty down our throats. Please do NOT stay home. You must vote. You do not have to vote for Obama or McAmnesty. There are always other parties and people on the ballot. You could write in whoever you want.

The important votes are for House and Senate seats. Conservatives MUST win seats in the House. The House is where things get done. It was the passage of H.R. 4437, an enforcement bill, in Dec.05 that sparked the illegal alien protest marches and moved this issue to the front burner. It was the Senate that tried to jam amnesty down our throats. The D’s that won seats in ‘06 were conservatives running on enforcement platforms. One of them, Heath Shuler D-NC, introduced the SAVE Act. Call, e-mail, or write your Congressman and urge support of this legislation. Enforcement is what Americans want, not amnesty.

    Amnesty is a losing proposition.

McCain is, and always has been, trying to marginalize the “Ultra-Right”.

Guess who else is intent on “Defeating the Ultra-Right”? I’ve said it many times before, but I’m not going to stop saying it. The Communist Party USA is intent on “Defeating the Ultra-Right“.

The Preamble to the Constitution of the Communist Party USA begins:

The Communist Party USA is the party of and for the U.S. working class, a class which is multiracial, multinational, and unites men and women, young and old, employed and unemployed, organized and unorganized, gay and straight, native-born and immigrant, urban and rural, and composed of workers who perform a large range of physical and mental labor—the vast majority of our society. We are the party of the African American, Mexican American, Puerto Rican, all other Latino American, Native American, Asian American, and all racially and nationally oppressed peoples, as well as women, youth, and all other working people.

The living standards of workers and the natural environment on which life depends are under constant attack due to the drive for maximum profits inherent in capitalism. Our party fights for jobs and economic security, a decent and rising standard of living, peace, justice, equality, a sustainable environment, gay rights, health care, education, affordable housing, the needs of seniors, democracy, and a fulfilling life for everyone, with socialism as our goal. Only through the abolition of the capitalist system and the socialist reorganization of society can exploitation of human beings by others, and the evils of oppression, war, racism, environmental degradation, and poverty be ended. We seek to build a socialist society which puts people and nature before profits.

How different is that from where John McCain wants to take us?

Is Amnesty for 20 million “proletariat” any clue to you?

Is his focus on AGW and “sustainable environment” any clue to you?

Do we really have no choice but to nominate this man as the Republican Party’s nominee?

I have never been a Ron Paul supporter, but I tell you I hope Paul and his supporters will find a way to prevent the “automatic” nomination of John McCain.

(tongue-in-cheek) “Help us Obi Wan Ron Paul, you’re our only hope for a brokered convention.”

I’m telling you, if they do this and are successful in preventing “We’re Screwed ‘08″ we will all owe them a debt of gratitude.

It sometimes is not that Americans won’t do a job, it’s that they don’t WANT to, or HAVE to do a job these days.

Part of the problem is our relative affluence, lack of discipline and welfare. It’s easier for too many Americans to be a bum, abetted by family and/or government these days instead of going out, finding and doing anything where muscle and/or brain is involved in any job and earning a living.

Also, the growth of both legal and illegal immigrants who are not required to learn and use english has its affect on the job market. In many areas of L.A. where latinos are replacing blacks as the dominant minority, black kids who do wnat to work are turned down for jobes in favor of kids who speak spanish.

What? For god’s sakes. Another open borders moron. Why don’t you even try to understand the issue before you open your mouth and prove to the world you are an idiot!!!

This is America, a country made by immigrants.

Here we go with the ridiculous platitudes. By that logic we can not control our immigration policies. Afterall, we have had immigration in the past so we must continue it for eternity. Regardless of any potential negative impacts to the country. So do we continue immigration when there is 500M people here? How about 1B? Check the census numbers for reality before you open your ignorant beak. Finally, ummm, you are ok with illegal entry into the US? What part of ILLEGAL ALIEN are you having trouble understanding?

These people deserve to become LPR and later naturalized US citizens. Most of them are hard working people, who pay their taxes.

Really? I am betting there are 10’s of thousands of illegal aliens victim’s relatives who would vehemently disagree with you. Look up the statistics on the number of people raped/robbed/murdered each year by these “hard working people”. While you are at it, look up the stats on entitlement payments made to these illegal invaders. They are heavy users of food stamps, welfare, education, etc. They deserve nothing. Many are here to take advantage of our compassion and hopsitality. Take take take and give nothing back.

There is NO WAY we can deport 13,000,000 people; I think Bush once said that massive deportation will never happen because it will hurt our economy badly: they are doing many jobs us Americans would never even think of doing.

Do you have anything original that can be shown to be true? Yes, we could deport 13M if we wanted (and it probably more like 30M). And frankly, we should. However, your choice of amensty or immediate deportation is a false dichotomy. Of course, you probably never even researched to find if there was another solution. The preferred solution is a truly comprehensive approach. First, DRY UP THE MAGNETS that draw them here. No welfare, no jobs, no education, no anchor babies, and no hope of citizenship. Guaranteed to stop more invaders from coming if there is no benefit to THEM. Second, embark on a policy of ATTRITION of the illegals already here. Once you eliminate the above magnets and make it difficult to live here illegally. They will go home over time. They found a way to make it here, they can find a way home.

Of course they do the jobs americans won’t do at a the slave wage prices the employers are willing to pay. Of course, those employers know we taxpayers will make up the difference through food stamps and welfare.

Do you even have a simple understanding of what amnesty actually entails? In the 1986 amnesty deabte, congress estimated 1M would be given amensty. In the end, it was 3+M. Later studies showed that an average of between 2-3 addtiaonl immigrants were brought in by those amenstied via chain migration over the following 5 years. So, some estimates have illegals at 30M today. So in 5 years, we can expect 30M amenstied and another 60M-100M additional immigrants brought in through chain migration. How in the world are we going to absorb 100M new citizens in 5 years who don’t speak English and are primarily uneducated and illiterate in thier own language. It would crash the budget. Additionally, we tried amensty in 1986. It was “the last amnesty” we were promised. Well, 20 years later we have 30M illegals here (10X the 1986 level). It did not stop anything. It made the situation worse. It told the world, “get here by any means, stay long enough and we will give you a reward, citizenship”. Another amensty will only encourage more illegal immigration. Not to metion, if amensty is passed, there will be a rush on the border by illegals to take advantage of it. Everytime there is even a hint of amnesty illegal border crossings increase.

History is repleat with civilzations falling as a result of uncontrolled immigration. Rome was inundated by immigrants. American Indians. Even Mexico, when it controlled Texas saw that US immigraiton (aka white) into the territory was shifting the balance of power and took steps to stop the flow. But it was too late and you see the outcome. So why are we repeating all the same mistakes?

So, either you are ignorant of the issue (which should exclude you from voting at all), you are a rabid anti American and would like to see the US crumble under the weight of immigraiton, or you are la raza type who wants to see a hispanic majority in the US regardless of the potential negative impacts to the coutry which you call home (ie a brown racists). So which is it?

McCain came in 4th place in Iowa on January 3rd.
Within three weeks Democrats were calling him the “presumptive nominee”, and within 4 weeks of McCain’s 4th place finish in Iowa, the RNC was putting pressure on Republicans to get behind McCain.

The four candidates who gave the finger to the Values Voter Debate (by choosing not to show up) all conspired to make McCain/Romney the ticket.

Thompson was McCain’s stalking horse in SC and then told us to “fall in line”.

Rudy was McCain’s stalking horse in Florida, where 20% of the Republican primary vote was from Democrat cross-overs.

The media (both MSM and Allahpundit at HotAir) were brutal and unfair to Huckabee. People who believed that McCain was the “Presumptive Nominee” (long before he was) voted for him when they might not have if they hadn’t been repeatedly told a lie.

Huckabee continued to have strong showings in primaries long after he quit the race, but McCain did not even consider him as a VP pick, much the same way Obama never even considered Hillary.

I happen to think that both “presumptive” nominees will be shocked when they do not receive their party’s nomination.
