Let the games begin. This just proves what I have thought all along. Obama is in over his head and he knows it. So what does he do? He reaches out for a security blanket in the form of Biden. If Obama was really smart, he would have talked Hillary into being his vice-president. Then he would have had the campaign sewed up for sure. Now look what he’s got. A swelled-head egomaniac shoot-from-the-hip big-mouth narcissist who is going to be a bigger pain-in-the-ass for him than his wife Michelle. Wait a minute! I just described the Clintons in a nutshell. True, but the only difference is that Biden doesn’t bring millions of voters along with him. As far as this overjoyed Republican thinks, Obama made the best choice for his defeat that he could have made. I commend his stupidity. Yes world, there is a God, and God is a Republican.

The Obama media, led by Obama acolyte Andrea Mitchell, will minimize the various Biden scandals. They are already saying that the Neil Kinnock theft was nothing more than borrowing a few words. Actually Biden not only stole Kinnock’s words, Biden stole Kinnock’s biolgraphy. Kinnock talked about his granddad and dad going down under the coal mines and then coming up and playing 6 hours of football. Biden used that line and talked of his own grandpa nad pop working under theground in the mine. Actually there was never a Biden who worked under the ground as a coalminer. The only thing he could come up with was a distant relative of his wife who worked in management for a coal company many years before. And then Biden didn’t even know that Kinnock was talking about soccer, not American football. And Biden’s record at Syracuse Law School was disgraceful. He could have been expelled for plaigirizing. He whined and the Dean let him off with a suspension. And he graduated near the bottom of his class. The McCain campaign should rerun the CSpan video where Biden, back in 1987, starts berating a guy in New Hampshire, saying: “I have a higher IQ than you do” and then Biden brags about how great a student he was at Syracuse Law School. In reality, Biden was a lousy student, barely graduating from Syracuse. I wonder if Andrea Mitchell will mention any of this. Somehow I doubt it.

After Fred Thompson dropped out, I went for Mitt and still think he’d shine on the GOP ticket. His blanket healthcare plan has Taxachusetts in MAJOR financial trouble and Rep. voters from MA have said he changes positions with the wind.

It’s true that Gov. Palin takes an enormously high tax rate from the oil companies, but she had to. Alaska is a huge state with a very small population.
At 656,425 sq. mi. it’s nearly 3 times the size of #2 Texas 268,600 sq.mi. yet has 1/40th of the population, Ak. 663,660 to TX. 22 million.
Building and maintaining infrastructure in a state that large and has such severe wheather conditions Gov. palin had no choice but to charge that high a tax on an industry that still walk away with a nice profit. After all, it was not a deal breaker, and they still want to expand drilling operations.
My point is that Gov Sarah Palin is not a big tax RINO, but a solid pro-life, fiscal conservative.

Let’s look at the options 1) either no one knew on Tuesday (this still makes Biden a liar) because no one knew not even him who it was at that time. That is your premise. If he had said, hey you’re probably wasting your time, no one knows who it is yet and since I have stated I didn’t want the job, it probably isn’t me. Now that would have been a truthful way of stating this. Of course there is option 2) he was told he was not the guy on Tuesday and Obama is so indecisive that he changed his mind on Thursday. This would make Biden not a liar but telling the truth on Tuesday.
Then there is option 3) Biden knew on Tuesday he was the guy; and is such a liar, that the first thing out of his mouth was a lie: I’m not the guy. Because he is just like Obama he can’t think on his feet to tell the truth without divulging the facts.
Dumb and Dumber in ’08 is the dem ticket. But, to call MM a liar is just of the mark.
I think from a political stand point it is a good move for Obama. Biden will bring allot of blue collar white vote as well as seniors. In today’s politics gaffs really don’t mean anything at all unless you’re on the net it just gets tossed under the rug in both parties. Many think that McCain will pick a woman or Romney. I don’t because John is a military fire & brimstone type of guy I cannot see him picking a woman to be his vice at all. John doesn’t strike me as the type of man who would discuss critical situations with a woman I just do not see that in his personality. Mitt would be a good choice for him economically and regional map wise but I do not believe the GOP base will let him do that. Evangelicals will never let a Mormon in the Whitehouse. The power pulling the strings of the GOP base in today’s republican party is evangelical and neoconservative wing of the party. With evangelical being the pro choice end and the neo’s the war end. Their isn’t a conservative end anymore as the party in whole spends as much as the dems if not more to the till of 8.5 trillion deficit.. Conservatives are not part of the republican party anymore we just think we are. I think John will either choose a war guy or an evangelical like Huck or maybe AIPAC’s guy Lieberman. Either way we conservatives will be pushed further out of the party. We either get Neo type fascism or Marxist type fascism. We can be rest assured though that neither party will be limited government.

If Hillary announces to the convention she will not accept a VP nomination – no matter what … well even if she does say that…and delagates still nominate her…it might make for some interesting watching, to say the least.
On the Republican side – McCain also faces the reality of the convention. A McCain-Liebermann ticket would win over a lot of Independent Moderates (who will be the deciding factor in this election) but convention delagates would undoubtedly not allow it. Thus, we’ll probably see “Olympic” Romney as the VP choice -although Duncan Hunter – I think would be a great choice – because of the “California Clout” factor. There’s other choices for McCain – but “conventional wisdom” points to Romney.
