Hello,
Some of us are appalled at the use of the 9-11 logo on that web site. The pentagon logo was used for fundraising efforts for the families of 9-11 victims in Arlington County. The logo is copyrighted but the owner can not afford to fight a nameless web site. Shame on them for exploiting a copyrighted image.

Goldwater Knight, I think your scale from Wikipedia is not entirely correct.
Draw a line on a sheet of paper. The scale should run from zero government on the left to absolute government control on the right. (Do not confuse right and left on this scale with politics; we just read from left to right!) The heading should read Government with an arrow pointing left and the word less on it and an arrow pointing to the right and the word more written on it. Underneath that the word Freedom is written with the arrow pointing left as more and the one pointing right as less.
Remember, the amount of your freedom is inversely proportional to the size of the government.
Zero government is anarchy. No rule of law. Total dictatorial government is iron-fisted control and complete regulation of the subjects.
All forms of socialism – communism, national socialism, progressivism, fascism, populism, statism, etc. are all bunched together in the right 3/4 of the scale; total government control. Other forms of government like a monarchy, theocracy, etc. are also in that 3/4. They also demand complete control of the subject.
The U.S. Constitution as written is about 1/3 of the way in from the left. The U.S. Constitution as currently implemented with massive amounts of socialism is about 2/3 of the way to the right.
Fascism is NOT a right-wing or conservative political belief. It is entirely left-wing or liberal. Correctly, fascism is socialism. Mussolini even said he was born a socialist and would die a socialist.
The best way to explain this is to read the book.

Thomas Jefferson knew over 200 years ago that we could/should never have any dealings with Muslims. We were at war with them in his time and he predicted we would be again. Does the Barbary Coast ring any bells?
A former college prof told me he was actually taught about the Barbary Coast (from whence the term “barbarian” stems) and murderous Islamists when he was in school in the ’50s. Seems we can’t be bothered to remember our history. Sad.
Jefferson was amazing. I just finished The Last Patriot, by Brad Thor. Besides a political thriller on Islamofascism and their goals in the U.S., he includes a mini history lesson on Jefferson and Islam. He spells out what’s true and fictionalized at the end. It’s quite an eye opener.
I can’t take much more of this: first, Michelle O is talking on the tv, so I go into the other room to read Michelle M, and then I read about this woman.
