Dear Charlie,

Thanks for the generous “donation” to the party’s coffers – but unfortunately we need to send it back to you. You failed to follow the guidelines that are set forth on Page 27, paragraph 4, sub paragraph 22, codicil #2 of Appendix C that states the following:

“Contributions made to the DNC must be submitted, via third person (that is not directly related to the donor, unless it is a “significant other, not their spouse”) to the chairman in a DNC approved “deposit envelope”. The donation must be in approved currency, and in unmarked bills. Deposits must be sent to the PO Box in Vermont, for further dissemination to the party faithful.”

We appreciate you enthusiastic support, and look forward to your participation at the convention in Denver this week.
