Down with capitalism! Now, buy our shirts!

By Michelle Malkin  •  August 25, 2008 12:19 PM

The anti-capitalism protest kicks off in downtown Denver later this afternoon at the Mint, which the radicals will attempt to “levitate.”

Meanwhile, the enemies of profit have been busy…trying to make a few bucks.

Do as they say…

LGM – Once again we go down that slippery slope of relativism? How much is “undue exploitation”, and who says that whatever level you pick is the right level where it crosses the line from “acceptable” into exploitation vs. undue exploitation.

Bush is in the executive branch. Talk to Congress about legislation.

Republicans are responsible for “opening up China” from Nixon to Reagan Bush, Sr. to Bush, Jr.

The idea on building good relations with China is

    1) To reduce tensions. Remember, the success in Vietnam was due in large part to supplies from Russia and China

    2) China, unlike other dying liberal countries, is on the rise and could be a world power, especially if we keep electing far leftists like Barack Obama.

Nixon knew this because he was, at that time, a good statesman. Reagan knew he could utilize China and dilute the Russian influence, and the Bushes? China has an emerging class, and like or not, LGM, trade and jobs give the government revenue for your big-government programs that find the GLBT causes.

As far as republicans having a great relationship with China, as you would have us believe, please explain why they would contribute to the Clintons?

Republicans are business friendly — whether it’s manufacturing in repressive countries, illegal immigration, giveaways to big oil, or stricter rules for credit card debt (

Fair labor is important, LGM, but abolishing the secret ballot and rampant spending of union dues isn’t much better. Don’t forget about the environmental aspects either.

As far as stricter laws for credit card debt, the American people should have thought of that before racking up all those bills. That is NOT anyone’s fault but their own, and the government has to step in when the people aren’t responsible.

Besides, wasn’t it Biden who wanted to make it harder for customers to file bankruptcy protection?

Of course if somebody borrowed the money from YOU, you’d be perfectly ok with them not bothering to pay it back.

For once please, LGM – think about the consequences of what you spout. There are two parties to a credit card transaction – the lender (credit card company) and the borrower (the consumer). The two have a contractual relationship. When one of the two fails in their part of the contract, the other can and should have every means at their disposal to get the other party to perform.

Then why do they say it sucks, but use the system anyway? Why don’t they sell all their possessions (like DVDs and movies) and give the money to the poor?

So, do you want to invade Columbia now, too? That seems to be the solution for promoting “tolerance.” Let’s see in the past year, liberals who oppose the Iraq War want to invade:

    a) Sudan

    b) Pakistan

    c) Myanmar

    d) Columbia???

I would just like to note that 2/4 are our allies for strategic reasons that certain liberals don’t seem to understand (it would be kind of hard for Barack Obama to go after bin-laden in land-locked Afghanistan without support from Pakistan) and, well, we help Columbia fight corruption to the extent that we can.

Of course, if we used the tax money given to Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, GLBT groups and, of course, big government programs for the “needy”, we could lessen the chances that their labor bosses would be shot.

Since the whole aim of your posts seem to blame republicans instead of trying to make a REAL difference, LGM, none of what I suggest will happen, as is custom in the two-party system.
