A black Hillary Clinton delegate on Sunday accused state Senate President Emil Jones of calling her an “Uncle Tom.”
Jones — Barack Obama’s political mentor — denied using the racially loaded slur against Chicago political consultant Delmarie Cobb, but two aldermen who said they witnessed the Saturday night exchange back up Cobb’s account.
“Last night, I was called an ‘Uncle Tom’ by Emil Jones in the lobby of the hotel, right in front of [Ald.] Freddrenna Lyle and [Ald.] Leslie Hairston and [Ald.] Latasha Thomas,” said Cobb, a member of Clinton’s Illinois Steering Committee. “I walked over to him and asked him, ‘What did you just call me?’ ”
The embarrassing flap came on the eve of the Democratic National Convention, which will open tonight with a string of Chicago speakers talking about Obama’s life story. Jones is often referred to as Obama’s “political godfather.”

I was wondering about that myself. Has Barack Obama ever held a regular job? As a teenager has he ever labored as a cashier? Or filed invoices? Or served food in a restaurant? What kind of job (if any) did he hold while he attended Harvard?
What is his entire work history?
I’m actually pleased to see America has gotten over the Black person as victim mentality (everyone but Al and Jessie) and that a black person can make a credible run for President. Unfortunately it’s Obama – empty Rookie.
Of course “what he represents” is a grandmother who sent him to an expensive private school – before the unfortunate bus accident – and he has reaped the rewards of an expensive education and probably good study habits. It’s sad that many of the people voting for him don’t see the value of studying and would say it’s “too white”. The irony of course is lost on both Obama and those people.
OK, now on to the fun, making fun of the Rookie, his wife and the dopey vp candidate.

The “One” is not the first black American to run for president…so that’s not new ground…
Perhaps she’s referring to the Democratic backroom boys’ decision to take the “Milli Vanilli” approach to finding a viable presidential nominee: sourcing a lip synching puppet with no real identifiable talent or verifiable track record of time in the trenches spent polishing their craft, but marketing, packaging, branding and hyping him in a fashion deemed “saleable”. Ironically, both MV and BO were/are both marketed principally to the “young” (aka “gullible”):

As far as Michelle Obama and the Democrat Convention goes, I am looking forward to the insanity. Although I don’t think I will challenge my stomach by watching the hoard of Obama speakers and parade of dejected Americans Obama will bring on stage.
Can you image Michelle Obama’s Speach followed by a laid off Auto worker who has no health care and has lost his house because of his inability to pay his mortgage due to the price of gas and his lack of education….etc etc.
Then the flash of thousands of Obama teenagers screaming, “Obama” “Obama” “Obama” like a frenzied crowd in Germany.
That is the scene the MSM will show. The truth will be revealed through the blogs.

Biden was his life preserver, plain & simple.. The problem of course, is who will save biden from his own mouth?

I grew up in very modest surroundings. My parents worked very hard to provide for us. We raised large gardens with the prerequisite canning, had a few hogs for butchering and to sell and a milk cow from which we had fresh milk and raised a freezer beef each fall. I was given the necessities and told if I wanted more, that I would have to earn it. I’ve shoveled $*** & shell-corn, dug fence post holes, threw hay, bush-hogged fields, scraped & painted houses and mowed more lawns than I care to remember (with a push mower and a pair of dull hand clippers). I was taught to learn a trade or to get a degree. I ended up doing both. Welfare or food stamps were not in our vocabulary.
My parents both started taking classes to finish their GEDs while I was in high school. They both went on to take college courses and eventually worked their way up to nice paying jobs and retired moderately comfortable through cautious investments. They never received one free red cent from anyone, including the government. In fact they loaned others in the family money on several occasions when hard times hit. No interest was charged and some never paid it back. I know a little about growing up and earning something for your self. I do not think that Barack or Michelle O. have a damn thing in common with me.
I tried to watch the video to a conference of “Women for Obama” but couldn’t even get past her first 6 words:

Hate to tell you this, but its been my experience living in Memphis, working with New Orleans Katrina evacuees that most of black America hasn’t gotten over the victim mentality.
I see it everyday in the newspapers, and it comes out regularly from my U of M profs that blacks are always victims and to deny that is to deny that white people are people of privledge and that the whole arguement of reverse racism (and etc) is just mean white people conspiring to keep blacks down. Sadly my profs won’t acknowledge the accomplishments of Condilessa Rice, Colin Powell, and Clarence Thomas since they have sold themselves out.
The funny thing is that the next time I hear that “blacks are victims” I am just going to ask-In the last 30 years name one time you were denied the right to vote, go to school or faced attack dogs and fire hoses? It hasn’t happened in my lifetime since 1978.
