Obama’s Temple of Doom

By Michelle Malkin  •  August 27, 2008 12:15 PM

Fake Greek columns? Check.

Will he be backlit with his famous glowing halo, too?

Who designed the stage, anyway? The Chinese Olympic ceremony planners?

And will the thousands of worshipers kneel before the temple and raise their hands dutifully in the Magical O?

I hope it doesn’t rain. Hope and Change don’t taste as good when they’re soggy.

So Obama (The Oracle at Denver), now has his temple, constructed in likeness to the ancient Greek temples dedicated to past mythical gods (that is, beings of incompetence, indecisiveness and need for the establishment’s approval.) He has chosen Biden as his Vice President (Senior Priest), and, in time, if the Oracle at Denver is to have a change of address to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., he may also be called to choose new judges for the SOTUS (known as Ephors to some, tyrants to Plato, politically tainted by most Americans.)

Like I said on another thread…Obama would consider that statement redundant.

Nah, Obama doesn’t think he is Caesar. Bill Clinton and George Bush are Caesars (presidents). Obama thinks he is something more than that. He believes he can heal the soul of America. He believes he is greater than just another Caesar.

If Obama were so great, he wouldn’t need any additional props: his ideas and reasoned arguments would move us all. It’s only people who either have nothing to offer or no confidence in their own ideas that have to use outside influences, such as: speaking with a louder voice; introducing race or gender into the equation; using props; accompaniment of music; swearing or using “shocking” language; threats or promises of reward; anything that distracts one from the tenets of his/her policy ideas.
As it stands, despite all of the candy coating of irrelevant influences, he’s nothing but an insecure, incompetent megalomaniac, the product of a generation who values not great ideas or excellence, but superficiality and hedonistic pursuits.

    1. To those who suggest that a swastika adorn the rally: the swastika is a symbol of Buddhism and would therefore be incompatible with Obama’s crescent.

    2. Whether by compulsion or opportunistically, the teenage George Soros acted as a bagman for the Nazis in confiscating a Jewish estate in Budapest. When Martin Peretz, editor-in-chief of the New Republic, called him out on this, Soros replied to the effect that a lot of people did bad things in those days.

I have to wonder if Obama’s Greek Temple will be adorned with that timeless Greek good luck symbol (also a symbol of fertility - the winged male phallus (complete with nuts and bolt).

That symbol adorns much Greek architecture, and was even copied by the Romans. In fact, the “flying package” is said to have been the symbol of a rather famous Roman city - Pompeii. Somehow, the Pompeii connection seems rather fitting for the coronation of The One. I’ll bet if you look really close, it’s somewhere on his Almost President seal….

Hmmm, aside from providing SNL and others plenty of material, this can provide the Laguna Festival of the Arts lots of publicity… Specially if Obambi can stake the poseurs of truth and honesty (Bill & Hill, Joe, Nancy, Harry, Howard, Michelle O, Michael Moore, etc.) on the stage, holding up posies and garlands while kneeling on one knee with the other leg stretched behind, all facing Obambi as he comes riding his chariot from the ten-yard line.

Have them pose for five minutes without moving a muscle, while the curtain rises to a clash of cymbals and drums. What a tableau!

Only problem is having donkeys pull the chariot for added symbolism. That would extend the characters’ pose another fifteen minutes! ;)

I heard on Rush that he’ll arrive on a life-size replica of Air Force One. Doesn’t B Hussein Obama realize that’s the same kind of egotistical idiocy as the using an “updated” presidential seal that pissed off so many?

And the greek temple, or Barackopolis, was built by the same people who build Britney Spears’ sets for her shows. Way to get away from that John McCain ad.

Are Obama’s staff purposely trying to lose? What an idiot. Not fit to lead.
