Some others commented on the ad earlier in this thread and weren’t very happy. I don’t necessarily have an issue with it. I agree it was very classy and maybe had a little strategy behind it.

Yes, & people like your brother, & those of us who believe in making our own way as long as we are healthy & able bodied, are the kind of people who keep this nation running.

I’m not against helping people who are truly sick, & cannot work, but we all know that welfare programs have been abused to buy votes.

The Democrats have made an art out of using the money of honest people, to buy the votes of the lazy ones..

From what I’ve heard on Fox tonight, there are several Republicans that are apparently going to be with McCain tomorrow when he makes his pick. They understand that to mean that it will be a display of party unity, that they all side with McCain and his VP.

Romney has a flight, but Pawlenty cleared his schedule for tomorrow. I thought they said Huckabee was going to be there, too.

Sounds like it could be anyone. I think I’d prefer Romney over Pawlenty. Pawlenty looks like he doesn’t have any fire in the belly.

The talking heads emote how great it is that a mulatto has been nominated for POTUS, citing it as a symbol of overcoming racism when, in fact, is racism and reverse racism run rampant.
The ironic thing is: Obama is an empty shell, has accomplished nothing and spouts platitudes and promises that, hopefully, he cannot deliver. A caucasian with his lack of credentials would not get a second look.
Too many blacks support him unquestionly because of his race and intimidated liberals support him out of political correctness.
It is mind boggling that presumably rational people cannot recognize a Matxist and perceive him as intelligent, articulate and charismatic, even as he repeatedly stammers out cliches and reveals his ignorance of things large and small.
God, deliver this nation from this disaster.
