There are those who enjoy dressing up in combat fatigues and making claims that are not true. When children do it we call it playing war. When big people do it we call it STOLEN VALOR. Senator Tom Harkins of Iowa is such a thief. Although he did serve in the Air Force and was a pilot he made elaborate claims about service in Viet Nam that were not true. When you see a man wearing Combat Fatigues that did not exist during his war, wearing more medals than some battalions earned and claiming to be some kind of Super Secret Agent Soldier you just might have a phony. He belongs in Massachusetts or Iowa as a Senator.
