Could it be that somebody is on vacation and has the time to sit at the computer to debate with friends?

So count this as post 46 day 2.

McCain is not my favorite pick either, but we can't afford to have Obama in the White House.. He made good on picking a real Conservative in Palin.

It;s time to get behind him. The party must now unite, or we will self destruct our country at the hands of "Mr.O"..

On August 28th, 2008 at 8:24 pm, John Ansell said:

“Bill, the plan is to get enough Republican and Conservatives to bail on John McCain.”

And that will leave you with Obama.

“If enough people jumped ship, McCain would have to ask himself why. Once he figures out that people are not supporting him because of this one issue, he’d be an idiot not to change his amnesty plans.”

OK,

1)He already has changed his position on immigration. He has promised an enforcement first approach with the key provision that:

“Governors of border states will be required to certify that the border is secure.” Before he will bring up “comprehensive immigration reform” again.

 A) That gives pro enforcement people time to get ourselves organized to fight this thing in a meaningful way.

 B) It also gives law enforcement time to continue deporting.

 C) It also gives us a way of further delaying the process by working on border state governors to not sign off until the next step, a sane, tough and smart reform package is ready to go through congress that will allow assets to immigrate but keep out parasites and criminals.

2) We are a couple of months away from the election. The die is cast at this point, what you see is what you are going to get until after November. It is past time to get off the fence, indeed, this is just doing damage to the causes you wish to advance.

I believe he can be made to come around after the election. If I am wrong, I also believe that we can have an effect in congress and by perusing the above strategies if we get organized and push for enforcement. If I am wrong about that as well then we have at least bought ourselves time to let law enforcement get more out in the few places they are actually doing it.

If I am wrong on all of the above, on immigration we will be in the same exact spot that we will be if we elect Obama who will sign open borders legislation as soon as it hits his desk. So on this issue there is nothing to lose and the potential to gain ground regarding immigration.

Then we have all the other issues. The war, drilling, socialism, surrendering our sovereignty that people have died to protect, confiscation of private property, guns, abortion, Our national debt, government spending, on and on and on that Obama is on the far side of wrong on.

Nothing to lose, the possibility of something to gain. It is a no brainier to support McCain as I see it, even on immigration.

How about counting the logs in your eye before you try to cast the mote out of anothers.. go protest an abortion clinic or something... that might make you really feel holy.

There is something seriously wrong here.

I count over 45 comments here by one commentor in the span of 8 hours.

Who in their right mind would be on this blog for a straight 8 hours?

I don't want to single anyone out - because the same appears true for several others.

Do you guys just work for Michelle? - trying to make the number of comments appear higher than what they actually are?

I can understand having maybe 2 or 3 comments per post - but 45?!

As for the subject of Michelle's post - which nobody is really staying on topic with -they have shown the ad - and I for one think it's good - has anybody else seen it?

Bill, the plan is to get enough Republican and Conservatives to bail on John McCain. Hear me out. If enough people jumped ship, McCain would have to ask himself why. Once he figures out that people are not supporting him because of this one issue, he'd be an idiot not to change his amnesty plans. This is his final shot at being POTUS and I don't think that he is that stupid to ruin his chance over Representing those that can't even vote.

As it stands now, he thinks that there are enough Republicans that will support him so he can crawl across the finish line and still have his amnesty. A little dip in the polls and a large number of us sending him emails telling him that he's losing the race over Amnesty, he'll change. Then we will not have to hold his feet to the fire.

Don't know if they are legal or not, just a stupid tragedy.

Juan Hernandez is a man that HATES America... he wants Mexico to once again own this country and he tongues the ear of McAmnesty and whispers promises of Mexican votes.... He wants us Americans to bend over and volunteer for the screwing that Bush, Kennedy, McAmnesy, Ghramnesty and the other evil doers want to do to America.

McAmnesty still has Juan Hernandez working on his campaign. Thought McCain didn’t like lobbyist.

Juan Hernandez is a volunteer, a nobody. He has been used as another straw man like Daddy Yankee, it is sound and fury signifying nothing.

You still haven't answered my question John: What is your plan to stop the genuine amnesty that obama will sign in to law?

Give me a viable plan John and I will follow you to the gates of hell and hold Hernandez while you kick his ass.

I am starting to come to the conclusion though, that there can be no viable plan made for stopping Obama. I am starting to come to the conclusion that the only way of stopping Obama from signing open borders is to stop Obamna.

Show me the way John.

John - A very smart Mike Musculus pointed out to Grant that he argues like a Dem.

No he did not, that was your little theory.

I argue that you behave like a true leftist in that you only will see what you want to see.

"Notice that you say something, he twists it into something you didn’t say (straw man), then argues against what you didn’t say and pretends to make a point."

And I did that where?

No wonder he likes McShame, he’s a D too.

No wonder you want Obama, you are an easily lead half-wit.

"YOU are the one who says McCain can’t get amnesty passed, even though he’ll have the support of Rs and Ds alike… so how in your squirrely mind can b. Hussein?

I have stated that it is going to take work to stop it either way. Not that I think you want to work at it. I believe it is possible to stop in with a McCain presidency and imposable to stop it with an Obama presidency.

"Personally, I believe McShame WILL get it passed, and on his 100 day timetable at that."

So roll over and accept Obama. Make no mistake, there will be an Amnesty in this country if we don't get organized, stop sniping at each other and work to stop it. In your case at least, I do not see that happening.

"The Rs will finally start ACTING like Rs if b. Hussein gets in."

So is that the pipe dream? Losing the election will "cleanse the party"? That was a PR pitch made by the DNC which stuck in the minds of some of you. It was intended to help elect Hillary by keeping the right wing rubes n their tractors on election day. YOU DO NOT GAIN INFLUENCE BY LOSING ELECTIONS. No, they will interpret their defeat as the country wanting a different direction. Defeats leave political party's in a mess and empower the victors. You will be empowering Pelosi, Reid and the other traitors to the country.

"And now, I really am done with you,"

I will try to manage.

"since it’s impossible to have any real debate with you since you keep forgetting your own talking points"

Genius, if I keep forgetting talking points what makes you think I have talking points?

"and insist on putting words in everyone’s mouths."

Right back at you.
"
You’ve got enough McPoints for your ‘green’ onesie, so cash in already."

Well then, Ill send it to you because you are a huge baby.

"How many times does a person have to threaten to switch parties from R to D for you to believe he isn’t really an R??"

You shouldn't repeat lies, unless you want to be regarded as a liar.
