First, they came for TV stations daring to air an independent ad about Barack Obama and unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers.
Next, they came for GOP donors.
Now, they are shamelessly attacking National Review investigative journalist Stanley Kurtz — one of conservatism’s most thoughtful and penetrating writers on academic and educational affairs. Kurtz has been at the forefront probing Obama’s relationships with left-wing ideologues. It was his public information request and public call for help that led to the University of Illinois – Chicago finally releasing tons of files that shed light on the Obama/Ayers working relationship. The Obama camp is condemning Kurtz in harsher terms than it ever condemned the terrorist Ayers. Kurtz has been attacked now as a “right-wing hatchet man” and “slimy character assassin.”
Here are the Kurtz-smearing talking points the Obama campaign sent to its worshipers.
It was “non-stop.” And: “Surreal, amusing, and chilling.”
As I reported yesterday, Kurtz spent two hours on legendary radio talk show host Milt Rosenberg’s Chicago program on WGN last night detailing his initial findings. The Obama campaign went ballistic — and in typical Chicago mafia-style, smeared Kurtz and tried to shut down the show.

I’m listening to Stanley Kurtz on the Milt Rosenberg Show. Milt announced that in his 30 yrs of doing his show, he’s never had “the firestorm” (as he puts it) on his switchboard as he’s having tonight. His call screener found the root of the flood: An pro-Obama website that claims that Kurtz is trying to smear Obama and that the campaign won’t allow the “swiftboating” that happened to Kerry, so they gave the show info (call-in number, time, etc) and suggested that people flood the switchboard with negative calls. The callers claimed that everything Kurtz is stating is fabricated, so Kurtz then read verbatim from the documents! He read one of the staff presentation agendas where the agenda stated that Obama would welcome the guests with Ayers then briefing them on the update so clearly they were together more than casually (and these docs are just the tip of the iceberg).
In addition, Stanley read an example of what organization received money and which one’s were turned down. In the case he mentioned, $200K was given to an African-American South Side School for a celebration of Juneteenth (see here for explanation, http://www.cinnamonhearts.com/junteenth.htm ) whereas a school program focusing in Algebra expertise was turned down.
As this exploration unfolds it should get very interesting indeed……..

In the last few minutes, two called to scald Milt for having Stanley on without having an Obama rep on to give the counterpoint. Milt explains, repeatedly, that he contacted the Obama campaign (he gave the name of the campaign official his producer spoke with) and the campaign — the HQ of which is about a quarter mile from the studio where the show airs — declined to come on. They were offered the opportunity to have someone there with Stanley for the entire two hours, and they said no.
Another pro-Obama woman called and, after accusing Stanley of slander but of course not citing anything he said that was slanderous, stated, “We want it to stop.” Milt asked what she wanted stopped, and she replied, “It’s just not what we believe as Americans.” Milt tried again, asking what she didn’t believe. She responded that it was someone saying bad things about Barack Obama and, again, we just want it to stop.
Very compelling.
Earth to Obama supporters: no one is claiming guilt by association — though willful association with an admitted terrorist would be worthy of noting in a presidential candidate. Obama and Bill Ayers had a working relationship. Yet, Obama claimed Ayers was just “a guy who lives in my neighborhood,” and has otherwise minimized the relationship. Aside from the fact that Obama is not telling the truth, which itself is important, the details of the relationship are important. If the press was doing its job, we’d have those details already. Finally, the media’s job is being done … by Stanley. He should be saluted, not smeared.

On the issue of being ready for a civil war, I am just saying that if you have never seen one, you probably are going to get a nasty suprise. I am not saying one will not be required if the tyrant obama gets in. In fact if it gets as bad as I fear, I will be right there with you. In fact I know how to be as ruthless as that type of war requires me to be. I am just saying its going to suck and you shouldn’t be cavalier about it.
One can hope the arrest of the ABC producer will be the beginning of the MSM realizing what could happen with Il Duce in the White House. I’ve said it many times before. Obama is very thin-skinned and he believes his own hype. He was raised and mentored by Communists. A guy like that isn’t going to care about your rights.

There is a difference between “dissenting opinions” and outright lies. Who can blame Obama for defending himself. John Kerry did nothing when he got swift boated and look at what happened to him. There are plenty of reasons to not vote for Obama in terms of policy and experience without resorting to these kind of attacks. If anyone listened to Sean Hannity on his radio show a couple of days ago trying to make these arguments to Ted Koppel, Koppel calmly and persuasively shot all of them down and it made Sean sound like a spoiled little brat. Kind of like that guy Kurtz.

I think people are regaining an understanding and appreciation of what our founders did and said.
Our nation’s churches were hotbeds of political discussion from before out nation’s founding until an IRS regulation was passed (in 1957?) that unconstitutionally violated the first amendment and restricted political free speech in churches.

The opposition to the Ayers relationship exposure is a clue to a much deeper fear on the part of the Obama team.
Yes, Obama doesn’t want his true association with Ayers to be publicized. But the reason is in the details of the foundation’s actions, not the association itself.
Obama “embraced” his Black side when he arrived in Chicago and met the likes of Mr Wright (NOT a Rev in my book).
The association with the Black Separatists, who are the epitome of Racism, is the real fear that is driving Obama to stop this information at all costs. If he can’t stop the details from emerging, he knows he will lose the Presidential race!
The “Citizen” army will be none other than the militant wing of the Black Theology movement (Nation of Islam). I’ve seen these people march and turn on command like soldiers, only in suits and ties instead of brown shirts.
Once these documents are fully digested by “stable” individuals, the racism of Obama will be frighteningly apparent!
Of course, the above is strictly my opinion, but I do not see ANY information to discredit it.

Hasen’t anyone question why Obama would associate with Ayers, knowing his history?
Well, once you actually know the reason why Ayers founded the Weather Underground it will be apparent. Ayers bombed our government in relation for racism against blacks.
Add this fact to the teachings of separatist Black Theology (which Obama absorbed for 20 years) and to the activities of the Ayers/Obama school reform programs in Chicago and everything begins to fit together.
BTW, the Nation of Islam movement is based in Chicago and also adheres to the Black Theology movement, only with less restraint. Have any White people EVER read one of their newspapers that they pass out on the street corners of predominately Black populated areas? It is PURE racism. The newspaper instructs its readers to “do whatever it takes” to take from the white man what really belongs to you. I can not emphasize enough that the core theme of this teaching is to take everything from the white man at any cost, and “whatever it takes” to get it.
Obama has embraced this theology and the money appropriations from the Ayers/Obama school reform underscores this.
Our Founding Fathers seem to have given us our marching orders, and very cleaerly stated.

As I’ve pointed out on other blogs and in conversations with friends, we should be very concerned about the fact that the fringe left is ga-ga over Obama, despite the fact that his campaign seeks to portray him as a “peacemaker” ready to bring those with disparate points of view together and work with them to reach a common solution to the nation’s problems.
Don’t be fooled — if the fringe left ever expected Obama to work with conservatives or to compromise on anything, he would have been dumped a long time ago.
The truth is that the fringe left expects an Obama presidency to be the most liberal administration ever, and they are wetting their chops in anticipation of Obama and the congressional Democrats simply bowling over any opposition with a single gigantic socialist juggernaut.
This kind of intimidation campaign against opposing views is only the tip of the iceberg, compared to what the fringe left is dreaming of, if Obama is elected and the Democrats keep their congressional majority.
Count on it.
For the sake of the world, I pray that Stanley and Michelle continue the good work that they are doing and expose more of the fraud that is Obama.

Dude, i have 14 years in and 2 deployments. Trust me IU have seen it to. How many concentration camps have you seen in NYC? How many rape camps? How many mass executions (20 plus at a time). It should be noted, or at least people should be reminded of how many thousands of times we have been made to listen to all the Liberals caterwauling about how President Bush, Republicans and Conservatives in general are and have been fascists, have been keeping Liberals from utilizing their voices, have been intimidating them and so forth, yet for the past 8 years it can be said that if it were true that he and we were doing such a thing, we failed miserably for they have yet to shut up and you can’t throw a rock without hitting an anti-Bush sign or caricature, you cannot go downtown in any city without being accosted on street corners by anti-American thug mobs, and one little search on any given search engine will produce millions of anti-Bush, anti-war, anti-Conservative, anti-Republican non-sensical web sites.
Once again, we see the inherent hypocrisy that the Liberals are coated from head to toe with. We also see the true face of Liberalism which, as we all know, is nothing less than Socialism wrapped up in a smelly, long-haired, unwashed, patchouli soaked wrapper.
It is one thing for them to claim that we threaten to do such things…it is another when we see exactly what will happen should The Golden Calf or, in future years, any number of other Liberals get elected to the Presidency.
It is in this country’s best interest to do all we can to make sure that Liberals never again occupy the Oval Office, and that means we need to actually have true Conservatives running for office and not these RINO’s who are nothing but Liberal Light.
Do not question, do not speak out, just be good little Liberals and nobody gets hurt.
It’s really all very scary. We are truly a nation divided now, & our only choices are to convince those who are wrong to get right, or eventually a civil war could erupt.
Unfortunately humans mainly respond to only two things, Reason, or Force.
So when one side can’t get their reasoning to work, eventually it will come down to force by the other.
In a civilized society such as we’ve had & tried to maintain for many years in this country, REASON & negotiation is the preferred route. Our reasoning used to be based on Judeo-Christian values. Now that those values are being ignored &/or altered by so many, we are seeing a sharp division in the people.
There’s only two things that can happen now. Revival/Moral renewal, or some sort of ugly Rebellion against the forming of communist &/or fascist government..
I’m praying that the people will wake up, & avoid all that. But my faith in that is not good, since 9/11 only happened about 7 years ago. If that didn’t do it, what will it take?

Just finished listening to the broadcast with Stanley Kurtz. It was a great show and well worth the time.
The thing I find funny is the fact that the Obama national campaign headquarters is less than a quarter mile from the studio and nobody from the campaign was available to go on and defend the King’s honor, as they were too busy with the convention. (I’m guessing their eyes were glued to the tv waiting for him to descend from above). This is the same guy with over 300 people “advising” him. If Oblahblah had nothing to hide and this was all smear with no supporting facts, one would think that 299 advisers could cover for the one missing.
The Obamabots were especially comical, each one (almost predictably) reciting the talking points sent out in the urgent email from the campaign. Not even one person could offer a factual defense or directly answer the question posed by the host.
An Obama Presidency would be disasterous!

Endorse or belittle whoever, but if Obama gets in because everyone’s just too principled to vote for McCain against the left, left wing havoc that will be unleashed, next time the troops are called on to flood the phone lines of congress or write this person or that person, I’ll just glance past the info and just… Shrug.

One thing of which we can be sure is that the Director of an organization and the grant writer must communicate a great deal. #1- To make sure the organization is spending the money in accordance with the grant stipulations and #2-To work together to find ways to do things that may make your organization elgible for other grants. There are a whole bunch of other reasons but these two are for sure. You can bet your bippy that these two guys worked hand in glove. It is pure BS to say anything else.

Dude, i have 14 years in and 2 deployments. Trust me IU have seen it to. How many concentration camps have you seen in NYC? How many rape camps? How many mass executions (20 plus at a time). It can get worse.
I detest the word “Dude” – I’m 62 and not a “dude.
How many concentration camps have I seen? Spent any time in the ghetto, son? Virtually the same thing for the vast majority of decent people trapped there by their own criminal elements.
Rape camps? Ever seen a 2 year old raped by mommys “boy friend” and literally split open? I guarantee I’ve seen the results of more rapes than you have.
Mass executions? Been there. Ever seen the results of a drug war? Ever seen entire families – children included – raped, butchered, and finally shot in the head because some member of the extended family dealt in drugs, or worse – ripped off a drug shipment?
Let’s not get into the “I saw more than you did” routine because it’s not helpful. I appreciate your service – please appreciate mine and the hundreds of thousands of other police officers who put on ballistic vests and little else and fight these assholes in the streets so when you are deployed your family isn’t victimized. We’re in this together. We do similar jobs, but in different places. We’re “deployed” for an average of 20 years. In my case, over 30.

I thought about this as I was driving today. Being a Christian means, well, besides the whole gospel thing, that you are to be as Christ-like as possible, as much as possible. That’s where “What Would Jesus Do?” came from. You find yourself in every day situations, ie, the check-out girl at the grocery store gave you too much money back – WWJD? So here’s my point – How can ANYONE who claims to be a Christian believe that Jesus would side with “a woman’s right to choose” over abortion? If you believe that, then you are just lying to yourself. There is one thing that Christians are good at, and that’s knowing when they are lying to themselves – you know, the whole guilt thing. I saw the sonogram of my son at 6 weeks. I saw his heart, and I saw it beating. I think that Jesus knows that my son is more than a “fetus”. I think that pro-choicers know this as well, they just can’t call him what he really is because then, well, you’re killing a human baby! They also must have a cause to champion – “We are for the woman’s rights! We are champions of causes!” This makes them feel better.
Another point that goes right along with this – the Left wants to make the whole abortion issue out to be about crazy right-wing Christian zealots against the rest of the world – “Theocracy!” Question. Do you really have to be a Christian to believe that abortion is wrong, and well, murder? Can you take God out of the equation and make a reasonable argument that, yes, abortion is killing a baby? I really don’t think that it’s so hard, so, here goes: Do you, Mr. non-God-believing-Lefty, believe that killing a 30 year old in cold blood should be a punishable crime? Yes? So, even though you don’t believe in God, you think that murder is wrong. OK, would you, Mr. non-God-believing-Lefty, have a problem if, right in front of you, I gutted a pregnant dog and performed my own quasi-caesarian on her, yanked out one of those puppy “fetuses”, and splattered it with a sledgehammer – right in front of you. I’ve brought this up before and I will again: Obama isn’t running scared. Thugs don’t act like thugs because they’re afraid. They act like thugs because they like it. It gives them a feeling of power and control. When it works, it makes them feel strong and successful.
When it doesn’t work, they get frustrated and angry at the people who aren’t giving in the way they’re supposed to.
As the campaign goes on, the people at the top of the campaign may (or may not) learn their lesson and try to tone things down, while the lower echelons get more and more extreme in their efforts to stifle dissent.
From now through election day, if there is any risk of being in the same room as an Obama supporter, it will be advisable to always have a towel nearby to clean off the spittle when they foam at the mouth. Also, be ready to provide first aid should an Obama campaign worker (easily identifiable by their brown shirts) burst a vessel or suffer a sudden coronary.
We’ll all be standing behind Kurtz. Thank goodness for what he’s doing. The Obama free-speech-shutdown machine won’t succeed. Obama chose these people as his close associates, now he must answer for it.
