Caught on live audio: The media sexist insults begin
Received a disturbing tip this morning from a reader in Denver, whose secretary was listening to a live news feed this morning as the media awaited the McCain/Palin announcement. You won’t be surprised by what was said about Gov. Palin and who apparently said it. Expect more of this. A lot more.

My secretary was just listening to channel 7 news on the thedenverchannel.com online.
The news guys had the audio on and did not know it.
They commented that they think McCain and Palin must be sleeping together.
They commented about Sara(h) Palin’s nice ass.
They said a lot of very unseemly things.
This seems like a big deal and they should be called on it. My secretary sent them an e-mail and they immediately cut off the audio…
…For myself, as the father of a little girl who I want recognized for her accomplishments and hard work, it was pretty offensive.
A senior news editor at Denver’s ABC 7 said the feed was a CNN pool feed and that the camera was among a group of news photographers.
I’ve asked for further comment from the station about the feed. If you happened to hear it in your area, let me know.
The Obamedia is going to slip up and show its ugly side more than once between now and November.

Let’s see. From what I’ve read, very intelligent, not afraid to kick the golden goose in the behind when necessary, fiscally very conservative, puts her money/reputation where her beliefs are (a la ANWR), total pro-life stance, mother of five, very photogenic and female. We couldn’t have built a better candidate for Veep.
Let’s hope some of her better qualities get transferred to McCain, force fed if necessary.

It doesn’t compare to the above media comments, but NBC’s Matt Lauer introduced Sarah Palins’s announcement this morning by describing her as a “former Miss Alaska runner-up.”
Other Obama spokespeople are classifying her as a “former mayor of a town of only 6,000,” and ignoring her governorship of the largest territorial State in our Union altogether.
Typical, but duly noted.
I turned on CNN to see how they covered Gov. Palin’s speech. The first reporter said “She stole Hillary’s glass ceiling remark”. Of course, she didn’t steal it!! She quoted Hillary and gave her full credit for it. Good grief! Then this reporter was talking to Wolf Blitzer and mentions that Gov Palin was a scrapper in sports and had a tough nickname. Wolf said, “Oh, little Sarah Palin was tough in high school sports.” LITTLE SARAH PALIN! That sexist, condescending, biased Jerk! I have to stop watching those channels, my blood pressure can’t take it!! They refer to Hillary and Geraldine Ferraro as tough, experienced, great leaders. But Sarah Palin is a conservative. So she is “little Sarah Palin”. I only hope the incredible bias out there will be exposed in all its glory, and very soon. There is already a lot of talk about the terrible journalism in the mainstream media and I hope they get busted but good! Sorry for the rant. I need to go into my rubber room and lie down for a while.

happyscrapper, you have something in common with Bill Clinton, although his “rubber” room is more of a museum, that a place to vent!
No one’s pointed out (and I’ll admit that in her tenure it might not be as big a threat as it once was), but she has led the state that is closest and most vulnerable to some of the strongest military powers in this world. North Korea, Russia, China and others. That’s an interesting proposition for the commander-and-chief of that state’s National Guard.

I am about the same age as Palin, and one of only two women in my engineering class. I have had to fight this type of sexism my entire professional life.
Palin is an accomplished woman who has successfully juggled work, family, marriage. Yet it didn’t take long for the MSM to diminish her as a “beauty queen” (code: “vacuous”) and a mother.
The lack of experience? Please. When Obama was first unveiled, Team Obama pitched this as a “plus”. And she has actual executive experience.
Bipartisanship? Palin has a record of reaching out and listening. I like how she unveiled her savings plan and education platform after listening to 11,000 suggestions from her constituents. She LISTENED. Are you listening, McCain?
And finally, her lack of Ivy League education? Again, another plus. I am so sick of subbing in one spoiled frat boy for another. Palin is a breath of fresh air. We need less ivory tower and aloofness, and more main street common sense. Palin brings that to the table.

My question is this- which of the forward thinking and morally upright leaders of the Left are going to stand up and say enough is enough and call for these reporters’ resignations? Will it be Rev. Sharpton, who so eloquently defended the ladies on the basketball team? Will it be Sen Clinton, who has claimed the gender bias foul so many times? Or maybe his Royalness, Obama the Great will show some class and step in? I won’t be holding my breath.

I’m thrilled about Palin as the VP candidate. I think she’s qualified, talented, and is used to multi-tasking. Best of all, she’s not from an Ivy league school - nor a lawyer! How very refreshing.
The only complimentary remarks about Palin on all the major networks were those from Fox News. With the ratings from those other networks plummeting, I’d think those same two-bit newsmen/women would be looking for other lines of work. Yet, it’s funny watching them abandon THEONE and go to non-stop coverage of McCain/Palin. Fickle little devils!
It was delicious noting how little coverage there was this morning about Obambi’s speech last night. I give him a C+ for effort. McCain/Palin punched a hole in his gasbag this AM though….

On CNN they just had a dem commentator Jennifer Palmieri, Center for American Progress, trying to say how bad Palin was and good things about big “O”, and I swear she looked like she had been crying or was trying not to cry.
A good friend has a sister who is active in pro-life activities. She was going to stay home election day but she’ll be out now to vote for McCain/Palin.

Of course there will be sexual references. Michelle M. herself gets all kinds of gender/sexually-related comments, most probably meant to be complimentary, but nevertheless ending up to be creepy.
This makes the race so much more interesting. We’ll touch (no pun intended) on issues for the first time due to a young attractive woman running for VPOTUS. It’s part of the complexity of being a modern American woman. And don’t say there’s no place for sexual observations. Men will be men. Of course there should be limits though. Those made about Palin by the radio guys are definitely creepy.
All i can say is she is the epitome, in my mind, of the perfect woman. Conservative, Republican, intelligent without being snooty, beautiful in a classical style, devoted wife and mother, outdoorsy, not a priss…just everything I would ever hope to find in a woman, wife, etc.
If that is “creepy” then I apologize, but when you pit her up against ANY of the liberal or Democrat women…sorry, but she stomps all over them and leaves nothing but unshaven arms and legs.
You just KNOW that every magazine in the country is going to be all over her and her family, and I can’t wait to hear what those cackling hens on the talk shows say about her.

And of course there’s a reason for that perception. Consider Hillary Clinton, whose sole reason for having the power she has today is because her erstwhile ‘husband’ repeatedly screwed around on her. Given Hillary Clinton as the example of the powerful woman, it’s logical to assume all women who attain positions of power, have similar backgrounds, or slept their way to the top. This is in no small part, a fear reaction. They don’t understand it, so there’s only one possibility. Sex.
Thing is, Palin, in reality, presents no such attachments. Not only is this a woman who attained her position on her own, and without the soap opera. And to boot, she raised a family, with a special needs kid, while her Hubby was off earning a living. These morons don’t understand it, and can find in their list of possibilities, only one condition for Palin to have been so successful.
Open minded, these Democrats. For possibly the first time in their lives they’re being confronted with a powerful woman who didn’t get her power from a bunch of know-nothings on a sympathy jag. And they simply don’t know how to cope. Or, maybe they just don’t like a powerful woman. Either way, what we’re witness to here is a fear reaction. Anyone who has seen a cornered raccoon, will tell you fear reactions can get pretty nasty.
I suggest to you there’s a lot of women out there who will be able to identify with Palin than did with Hillary Clinton. And that has the Democrats nearly in a full-on panic at this point.
I spent a little time last evening wading through the filth at two of the more popular leftist blog/forums. It was quite an eye opener. The sheer hatred was unbelievable. Some of the comments were beyond sexist…there were graphic sexual remarks that wouldn’t be tolerated for even a moment by any normal human being. Some of the women were freaking out over it and other women were telling them to shut up.
I wish the general public could see the real face of the left. It is ugly beyond imagination. What they’re doing to her is even worse than what they did to Clarence Thomas and Condi Rice.
Since when is being a former beauty queen a dirty word? Oh! Since her name has a Capital R behind it! I know she won’t, for she has too much class, but when Gov. Palin and Senator McCain tear the dems a new one, I wish she’d go on national TV and say, “How’s Little Sarah Palin doing now, Wolf Blitzer?” With her permission, I’d like to work that into a campaign bumper sticker.
