The screen name that you use was the name of a famous bi-sexual roman ruler. According to history he was pot bellied and smelly and had spots all over his body. The one place that you did get the name right is the fact that Nero killed anyone that he thought was a threat to his power. This sounds just like a liberal to me (think Ron Brown, Vince Foster, Barbara Wise, etc….) but I can’t think of his name.

I actually watched Campbell Brown(CNN-no bias, no bull….riiiight) earlier and she was just beside herself because she couldn’t get a McCain spokesman to admit Palin didn’t have any experience. I thought she was going to jump through the set. The guy got her good though by saying, “I know you’re probably upset by this, Campbell…” priceless.
Now, if MSNBC would have followed that statement with yours, that would have been fair and balanced.
Of course Obama dosen’t know how to react or what to do.

There are lip kisses, cheek kisses and air kisses. My
husband’s family (Italians and Bohemians) always kissed on the lips (they are from Chicago) and I had to
get used to people of both sexes that I sometimes had
just met, kissing me on the lips. My family (Scots,
Irish and Cherokee) from the South always kissed on
the cheek or indulged in air kisses with not so favored
friends and relatives. I am touchy feely but I don’t think he has known her long enough for a lip kiss.
He’s extremely annoying and childish, but boy was it nice to read his posts (except the ones about Bear’s wife) and imagine him pacing around, stomping his feet and yelling at his computer. Then his mom came in and told him to keep it down.

I know what you mean navywife. I like to listen to Elton John but detest the guy. It is probably because he doesn’t write his own lyrics, Bernie Taupin does, so they usually have a deep meaning but are not political. Songs like Philidelphia freedom is activist but most folks don’t get it. He is still a great singer/entertainer. One of the best concerts I have ever been to.

I doubt that Obama will get Biden to quit. At this point point I doubt that doing so would improve his chances of winning. America remembers McGovern replacing Tom Eagleton in 1972. The counter argument is that when facing an electoral disaster the party is liable to pull a “Laughtenberg” and parachute in a sentimental favorite. The only way to do that in this situation would be to discover some crippling emergency that pulls out O or B. It would have to happen in the next week, during the Republican convention and the hurricane. There is no more time before the election now and this will not happen. After this weekend the left wing will have gotten their bearings back and their talking points. They will all say without irony that Palin is a crazy woman who shouldn’t campaign after having a Down’s baby and that she would overturn Roe, which is a sacrament to them. I have seen it happening already.
