Snobama retreats

By Michelle Malkin  •  August 29, 2008 05:12 PM

Now, Snobama is all about congratulating his opponents in his civil, New Politics, HopeNChangey way?

Flip.

Flop.

Too late.

Like they say: You only get one chance to make that first impression.

Nero, you shouldn’t talk about your masculinity or lack thereof. I know you are probably not educated, so, I will give you a little lesson to help you. The screen name that you use was the name of a famous bi-sexual roman ruler. According to history he was pot bellied and smelly and had spots all over his body. The one place that you did get the name right is the fact that Nero killed anyone that he thought was a threat to his power. This sounds just like a liberal to me (think Ron Brown, Vince Foster, Barbara Wise, etc….) but I can’t think of his name.

    to nero,

Making a callous comment regarding another poster’s wife is uncalled for and juvenile at best. I am the first to submit sarcastic remarks due to my smart-a$$ nature, but would never resort to making it personal between your family and I, or between myself and any of the other “dissenting” posters families on this site. There is a difference between tongue-in-cheek and downright uncivil comments. Yours falls to the latter. Were this my site, you would be at best, on final warning. If you are an kind of man, even a Democratic metrosexual type, you will make an apology to bear1909′s wife immediately. Where I come from you disrespect a lady and you get your a$$ whupped.

I agree. That was funny as hell. I bet Dick Cheney would laugh at it, too. Better yet, if he is speaking at the big shin-dig at the Press Club next year, I bet he makes a similar joke. He is not the evil ogre the left portrays him as, and is self-deprecating with his humor.

I don’t want to watch that video again. Obama is
gross enough just on his own but to see him kissing
anyone, including his wife is gross. He’s just gross,
period, to me…whether he is talking, standing still,
    walking, etc.
I don’t hate him. I just abosolutly don’t like him.

Enjoy your time off. I wasn’t able to blog here for a few months when I was teaching. I knew I get on here and stay up way too late. It’s been great catching up. It’s unfortunate that we have so many new trolls though.

I try to ignore the trolls. They only post on here to try to get people all riled up. Like I tell the children that I have worked with who are being bullied…don’t pay any
attention to them and they will just shrivel up and go away. Trolls thrive on attention, they die without it.
I’ve been holding my breath all evening hoping for rain. It didn’t come. Guess
McCain’s choice for VP was enough good luck for today.
Can’t find anything yet on her stance on immigration but am going to hope for the
best. As a little girl I work with said, “Hope makes flowers out of seeds and birdies
out of eggs.” She’s almost a teenager now and I hope that stays with her all of her
    life.

Okay Brooklyn..enough shrews. You’re sounding testy.
There are lip kisses, cheek kisses and air kisses. My
husband’s family (Italians and Bohemians) always kissed on the lips (they are from Chicago) and I had to
get used to people of both sexes that I sometimes had
just met, kissing me on the lips. My family (Scots,
Irish and Cherokee) from the South always kissed on
the cheek or indulged in air kisses with not so favored
friends and relatives. I am touchy feely but I don’t think he has known her long enough for a lip kiss.

He’s extremely annoying and childish, but boy was it nice to read his posts (except the ones about Bear’s wife) and imagine him pacing around, stomping his feet and yelling at his computer. Then his mom came in and told him to keep it down.

I know what you mean navywife. I like to listen to Elton John but detest the guy. It is probably because he doesn’t write his own lyrics, Bernie Taupin does, so they usually have a deep meaning but are not political. Songs like Philidelphia freedom is activist but most folks don’t get it. He is still a great singer/entertainer. One of the best concerts I have ever been to.

Good one Navywife. He really sounded childish sniping at Bear’s wife. I can just see him pounding
on the wall and hear his Mother telling him that if he
has made holes in the wall again he’s going to have to
get a job and pay for the repairs. Then, he makes a
face at her (naturally he’s in his bedroom with the door closed and she can’t see him) and throws some
of the soiled clothes that carpet the floor, around.
That done, he throws himself onto his bed and picks
    up a comic book………

I doubt that Obama will get Biden to quit. At this point point I doubt that doing so would improve his chances of winning. America remembers McGovern replacing Tom Eagleton in 1972. The counter argument is that when facing an electoral disaster the party is liable to pull a “Laughtenberg” and parachute in a sentimental favorite. The only way to do that in this situation would be to discover some crippling emergency that pulls out O or B. It would have to happen in the next week, during the Republican convention and the hurricane. There is no more time before the election now and this will not happen. After this weekend the left wing will have gotten their bearings back and their talking points. They will all say without irony that Palin is a crazy woman who shouldn’t campaign after having a Down’s baby and that she would overturn Roe, which is a sacrament to them. I have seen it happening already.
