Snobama strikes again

By Michelle Malkin  •  August 29, 2008 02:09 PM

Instead of sneering about Palin as the “former mayor of a town of 9,000,” Team Obama should have taken the high road it always pats itself on the back for traveling.

This is a historic moment. Palin is an extraordinary American woman.

Geraldine Ferraro gets it.

Obama: Clueless.

And, as Lorie Byrd points out, classless.

Especially classless after John McCain’s classy congrats to Obama last night. And dumb. Yeah, that is exactly what they should be doing — dissing not only a woman governor, but an entire small town.

Lot of bitter, clingy people at Camp Obama right now.

I watched the video of this for the first time (had to listen to it live on the radio via Rush). She is a confident woman, and I am not worried how she will do against Biden. I’ve read somewhere that she is just too “plain spoken” to be VP, but that is not a minus it’s a plus and it needs to be pushed how normal she is compared to Obama’s affirmative action Ivy League education.

Over at the Communist News Network, they are displaying rigorous bias by running the above poll — and the people voting are giving Gov. Palin a “C” grade. No conservatives over there. Ok, guys, have your fun. We’ll laugh loudest, and we’ll laugh last.

She is Governor of a state bordered by two foreign countries, and just negotiated a natural gas pipeline deal with one of them?

Although I know the choice was brilliant and the only choice before today was McCain, I have to point out that according to our Constitution, States cannot negotiate with foreign powers. If you could clarify Governor Palin’s actions I’m sure she was still magnificent.

They didn’t think too hard at Obama’s camp. It shows that they want to control so-called “Big Oil” (nationalize) and they keep showing their own failures, as in, economic policies. Excuse me, Obama, last I checked the Constitution, the President doesn’t pass economic policies. The House, with support of the Senate does. Seems you’re attacking Pelosi and Reid again, hoping the ignorant and unwashed believe you.

At CNN, John Roberts has already trashed Sarah Palin. He said that he wondered whether Governor Palin, who has a child with Down’s syndrome, could properly take care of the child given the responsibility of being vice president. What he was really trying to do was telegraph his belief that Governor Palin is a weirdo. Last night after “The Speech”, the CNN panel consisted of David Gergen, the guy who can’t stop bragging that he teaches at Harvard, John Roberts and Carl Bernstein. All three agreed with host Wolf Blitzer that the Obama speech was the greatest thing they had ever heard and that the election is over. John Roberts, perhaps recalling the Saturday Night Live skits about him, quickly added at the end “John McCain is a war hero”. That was his cover your butt moment.

Obama is simply showing what those of us who actually pay attention to today’s politics have known for some time now. The Democrats are the selfish and self-centered ones who want as much power and control over everyone else as they can get. They are willing to do whatever and say whatever they have to to obtain that power and control. They do not care of issues of race, sexism, etc., except as tools to obtain that power and control.
