    Although I know the choice was brilliant and the only choice before today was McCain, I have to point out that according to our Constitution, States cannot negotiate with foreign powers. If you could clarify Governor Palin’s actions I’m sure she was still magnificent.

Not only was he classy enough to congratulate Obama on Thursday night, he waited until the next day to announce his pick, which as has been noted here completely upstaged Obama and crew. Not to mention that it was heartwarming to note that Friday was McCain’s birthday and the Palins’ 20th wedding anniversary…PERFECT timing all the way around.
