I read that team Obamba is criticizing Palin’s lack of foreign policy experience….HUH? Can someone shine a light on this? I know that Democrats are very hypocritical, but making a comment like that is just, well, stupid.

You have to explain it to people who went to Private School. First you start small, mayor of a town of 9,000. Get experience, get good at it, people like the job you do, then you become Governor. You get a lot more experience, you get good at it, people like the job you do and then they ask you to run for VP. Some people on the other hand, get out the dead vote, replace algebra in schools with junteenth, then run for President after 140 days of Senate “experience”. Then claim their opponent (ok, she’s only the Veep nominee, heh) is inexperienced.

This is classic Chicago mentality. I grew up in the NW suburbs of Chicago, moved to Ohio in high school, went to law school in Champaign. Illinois is two different states: Chicago and its suburbs and then the rest of the state. The contempt that the former has for the latter is incredible.
I’ll bet some small-town Kool-Aid drinking staffer who’s seeing the writing on the wall finally called the gaffe to their attention. Otherwise, they’d never have thought twice about it.
McCains next ad should play in rural areas and show McCain and Biden talking about how every child should have the chance to pursue any opportunity. Then show Begala and Clayburn’s comments ripping on small town America and how the people who come out of them can’t be VP. My daughter has legs of steel and can beat any hockey/football/soccer player any day. And a lot of the football moms I’ve known never grew out of their cheerleading costumes. In fact, some still wear them (no kidding!).

The liberal pundits on Fox News have really been expressing some sour grapes over Governor Palin’s selection. I know many believe “she who must not be named” was qualified, but she couldn’t even control her own household, butchered her campaign/victory lap through the primary season, and has yet to do anything of note as a Senator.
We have a smart conservative athletic woman that has managed to keep her hubby happy, while raising her good looking kids, and effectively performed in every position she has filled in life. I really like the way she has exposed corruption to include that in her own party and the fact she has taken the time to go to the combat zone meet the troops and even visit them in their hospital beds to check on their welfare instead of looking for a photo-op.
I love the way this bit of news have overshadowed last nights historic speech by the Obamessiah.

It’s interesting. Obama patronizes Hillary – who today head to head with Obama could probably win the nomination – while claiming to be the party that believes in women’s rights. They hoped to gloss it all over, but this move blows all that up. Now women have an actual reason to vote McCain/Palin rather than holding their noses and voting for Obama/Biden.
Last night I thought BO’s speech was pretty boring so I was bummed at the prospect of having to read up on various pundits, bloggers and columnists say how wonderful it was. But then I was rewarded with page after page of liberal bloggers finally come to the realization that you need experience to be President. I’m glad they finally came around on this. Their shortsightedness and ignorance has made my day. If its experience they want- they should get it with McCain. I’ll take SP day in and day out executive experience over BO 134 days in the Senate anyday.
