Classy leftists scrambling to find pictures of Sarah Palin in a bikini, which will prove…something scandalous

By see-dubya  •  August 30, 2008 02:02 PM

Ace of Spades has been using a great investigative tool for any blogger–Sitemeter. What brings visitors to your site? Right now it’s people searching for pictures of Sarah Palin in a bathing suit. Not just pathetic horndogs, that is…these are liberals who think that finding such shocking evidence of sinful depravity will galvanize social conservatives against her.

Thing is, it’s happened before–to Michelle. Those of you who have followed this site for a while might remember when Gawker came up with some inept photoshops of Michelle in a bikini and ran them, to cheers from Michelle’s critics who believed this proved she was a big stinkin’ hypocrite.

Why? Even if the picture weren’t a fake cobbled together from a private picture of a college student that someone ripped off the web, would that have proven hypocrisy? SHOCKER: CONSERVATIVE COLUMNIST DOES NOT SWIM IN A BURQINI.

Well, they thought–they hoped–that those fake photos of Michelle would somehow undermine her credibility with conservatives.

They don’t know us very well, do they? Even religious conservatives who emphasize modesty aren’t going to be wagging their finger and snarling “SINNER!” at someone who was once in a beauty contest or got her picture taken in a swimsuit. So once again, this is about to fall flat, like Brick Tamlin’s attempt to belittle his opponents’ sartorial taste:

See, the Left keeps on buying its own propaganda. There are a lot of slick hucksters there who tell them what they want to hear about how conservatives think and make decisions. Thomas Frank comes to mind, as does perennial tool George Lakoff.

Hey, it’s necessary to keep the liberal Strike Force! stoked at a fever pitch of seething hatred. That’s where the activism and the money and the silencing of opponents comes from. But then the problem is that they actually believe that this is how conservatives think and feel, and they make strategic mistakes because of it.

And then everybody laughs at them.

UPDATE:
Trollop“, eh? Somebody’s been reading the Dungeon Master’s Guide.

My guess is there will be a few pics of her “single” beauty queen days. But I’m also supposing that after 20 yrs of marriage, 4 or 5 children and 10 or 12 yrs of public life her more recent photos in a bathing suit will be a little more modest.

People that have seen the photos always ask who is that gorgeous woman? It’s my ma, I say and I always get a, wow, in return. What was the most popular attraction at the Olympics, women’s volleyball what else? I’m sure it had nothing to do with women in Bikinis. The trouble with DNSP is that usually the men are the ones wearing Bikinis so this is confusing to them. I hope they get waxed this November, Bikini waxed.

If you want to go to a club or bar and make sexual remarks about women, fine. But this is politics and professional life, and sex has no business there.

To be fair, Brian, you can be sure the Republican campaign would be Googling “Joe Biden” if they didn’t already have enough embarrassing material on him to last for decades. And with Biden being Biden, just the tip of his iceberg of problems rivals Mt.Everest!

All right, it never occurred to me to go looking for pictures of Palin in a bathing suit until now — she’s attractive, but she’s no Carla Bruni (or Mitt Romney for that matter)– but all the links provided here and Ace seem to lead back to Ace. There’s no freaking effort to score such a photo by anyone outside a few weirdos that the Obama campaign and pretty much all the rest of us wish would go away. So get a grip — one post on Craigslist does not a movement make.

And, if pointing out that spending two years as governor of a state about the same population as an average congressional district hardly makes one experienced enough to run the country is sexist, then the entire effort to portray Obama as uppity and inexperienced is, indeed, racist as all hell.

Single standards, people, single standards, please.

(Doesn’t it seem that the whole thing is an effort to set up an elaborate visual joke: “Click here to see Alaskan beauty contest bathing suit competition,” and you click it and there are a bunch of women dressed in mukluks or snowmobile gear or something?)

First of all, I don’t think anyone here is claiming that questioning Palin’s experience is sexist. If you check out some of the left’s blogs(some comments have been posted here) their comments are crude, pathetic and sexist and that’s what they are responding to.
Not to mention the fact that many in the MSM are almost dismissing her because she’s a woman, claiming McCain only chose her for that reason alone.
Second, I’m kind of tired of you implying some/all/most of us are racists. It seems to come up in many of your posts and it’s getting a little old.

Hello?! It is the largest state in the nation AND it borders two foreign countries. This is EXECUTIVE experience, something Obama and Biden–how big is Delaware?–completely lack.

It is so funny how these libs that claim we are “racist” for not voting for a half-white communist because of his communist views. . .then they turn around and disparage a very experienced and popular governor. By their “logic” they are “sexist” for not voting for someone who would be the first woman vice-president.

As for AllahPundit, Charles Krauthammer, and other elite Republicans and faux conservatives who are dissing Sarah Palin, REAL conservatives–Newt, Michelle Malkin, Laura Ingraham, Tammy Bruce, Rush Limbaugh, Debbie Schlussel, etc–think Palin is an AWESOME pick. And she is.

This panicky reaction by the Left proves it.

Palin is the best thing for the conservative movement since Ronald Reagan.

Indeed, NavyWife, and to her good credit the former Edward’s “netroots ooordinater”, left-wing feminist Melissa McEwan, is taking on the left’s sexist attacks on Palin in a series called “Sarah Palin Sexism Watch”.

    Here’s installment # 4

    tgusa,

Here is Delaware. Let’s all bookmark this reference below whenever crazy and unhinged Dems claim Biden is “experienced” and Sarah Palin, the governor (executive experience) of the largest state is “inexperienced.”

Take a look at this massive area that Biden represents. Some “experience”:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Map_of_USA_DE.svg

Compare that to this and notice the foreign policy experience one would naturally have from such a large state bordering two important foreign countries:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Map_of_USA_DE.svg

Anyone claiming Sarah Palin is “inexperienced” is either absolutely nutty or completely disingenuous.
