Andrew Sullivan jumps in on Palin’s grandma-gate rumor
Andrew Sullivan, who once gave me a “Malkin Award” for “excitably” asking questions about the Obama-Ayers connection, is chasing down the TRUE FACTS ABOUT TRIG PALIN like Alex Jones shambling after a 9-11 widow holding a chocolate cake.
Ace wrote me to suggest I “never link this {naughty word} again”, which is a request I’ll gladly accommodate. I don’t think I ever have linked him and I’m certainly not going to reward such a gauche display of Ted-Sampley-level rumormongering with a link, even in order to laugh at him.
Anyway: you know what this reminds me of? Those two nights in 2004 when both John Kerry and John Edwards made a point to bring up DICK CHENEY’S GAY DAUGHTER during their respective debates–a gratuitous, pointless, dank, greasy, creepy cheapshot that reveals the Left to lack class as well as discernment.

I guess it’s different because Dick Cheney’s daughter actually was gay, whereas this is a bizarre fantasy. But in both cases: even if this were true, so what? And as I mentioned below, if it were true, it actually makes Palin look saintly in her devotion to family.
The calculated sneering at Dick Cheney’s kid blew up in the Dems’ face. While I don’t wish any more intrusion into the Palins’ family life, I kind of hope the unhinged Left–among whose ranks the oh-so-cultivated Sullivan is now comfortably perched–keep showing this angry, unhinged, bitter snarl to the American public as they indulge their first instinct: going after the candidate’s mentally challenged infant son and high-school aged daughter.
Boors and barbarians. Is there a decent core to the Left–or at least a politically savvy core to the Left–that is willing to take a stand for decency?

Rumor debunked. Said photo was taken in 2006. Palin gave birth in 2008. These goofballs at KOS are actually implying that a teenager was pregnant for two years. Or something like that. I can hardly believe any of the KOS people thought anyone was gullible enough to believe a lame story like that.
If Sarah Palin is so inexperienced and not a credible threat to Obama, why the need for all the attacks on her and on her children?

I am sick of subhuman liberals abusing conservative’s children -labeling children “fair game.” The POS that calls itself Andrew Sullivan, is still fixated and bitter that most people find the marriage of homosexuals repugnant and has since spent the rest of his career trying to hurt decent people. Sullivan apparently thinks that he is ethical and therefore is not bound by rules of decency as a reporter/journalist – but it is clear to me that he has become a bitter, child bashing lump of filth.
This boggles the mind. Hasn’t anybody ever heard of “DNA”? If Trig is Sarah’s child then half of their genes will match. If Trig is Sarah’s grandchild then only a quarter of their genes will match. Should the leftists continue to amp this up into a major controversy, a simple DNA test is all it would take to blow them out of the water. And the consequent PR backlash would result in a landslide Republican victory.
It’s almost enough to make one believe that Rove is behind it all.
If Palin is so terribly inexperienced, and such a joke of a nominee, why is it necessary to slime her with stories like this?
If she’s as incompetent as the left says, the she’ll be exposed as a buffoon on the campaign trail, and this gutter trash isn’t necessary.

Some have speculated it might be caused by AIDS-related dementia. I don’t know how far HIV-AIDS has run it’s course with him, but that’s one explanation I’ve seen pop up now and then.

In a word – No. In my lifetime I’ve watched the Democrat party go from the party of the working man (I heard that when I was a kid) to the party of Marx and Lenin. They are the old Communist Party wrapped up in “hope and change” and they are pretty blatent about it. They are no longer for the working men and women (if they ever were) but are for increased government control over people, production and property. that’s socialism. And they’ll do it all within the frame work of the Constitution. There are enough activist judges to make it so.
The Leftist Democrats can and will use every lie and smear they can come up with because it’s in the Socialist/Marxist playbook. All the old-line Commies, Stalin, Mao all of them endorsed and encouraged the very tactics the democrat party is using right now. The goal is to win at any price. The ends always justify the means.
Do you wonder why the CPUSA endorses every Democrat candidate? Because they are fellow travellers.

Have you noticed that when the rumors first started the daughter was out of school for two months, it is now up to six months (I saw one comment saying eight months)
These people remind me of some of the low class people who asked my wife if our child was mine. This actually happened. What they reveal is their own lack of morality and decent living. I taught the general population, that is, all of the students in that school district. Things got very bad at one point when about 95% of the students were “on something” when they arrived at school. I wonder how many of the democrats are “on something.”
My friend sent me the Kos link accidentally, and then apologized for “offending me”.
I told her the only thing that offended me was that she sent it to anyone at all, because it made her look irrational & small, neither of which I would have ascribed to her previously.
