Palin attacks counterproductive as well as moronic

By see-dubya  •  August 31, 2008 02:49 PM

I hate to spend any more time or blog real estate on such grabastic buffoons who are digging up–well, making up–crap about Governor Palin, but let me add a comment to the second item Michelle mentioned here.

Basically a loon at Kos believes that Sarah Palin’s fifth child was actually born to Palin’s high school daughter and the Governor’s just covering for her.

It’s just one lone nut blogging at Kos, you might point out. Barely even worth a post. And that’s what I thought until I looked at the results of the poll at the bottom:

These people will believe anything.

But wait–let’s assume for a second that this goofy idea is true. Let’s say for a second that Governor Palin decided to adopt her daughter’s unplanned special-needs child and present him to the world as her own…

That would make her kind of a saint, wouldn’t it?

And wouldn’t it be an interesting contrast to the Democratic candidate, who was willing to abort his hypothetical grandchildren to remove the “burden” of an unplanned pregnancy?

“Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old,” he said. “I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby. I don’t want them punished with an STD at age 16, so it doesn’t make sense to not give them information.”

Noted.

Keep digging, Kossacks. The more you find, or think you find, the better Palin looks.

Oh, speaking of which, here’s one Republican that didn’t approve the Palin pick. But I think he just wanted it for himself…so he could “tell all the bigots to shut up“.

UPDATE, 6:50 PM: A much-missed blogger emeritus, Dave at Garfield Ridge, tips me that the “it’s really her grandson” meme has slipped into the mainstream: well-respected movie critic Jeffrey Wells of Hollywood Elsewhere is touting this little blurt of Kossack venom.

But Wells wants you to know that he runs a high-class operation. He told us so when he… banned all the conservatives from his site yesterday:

And dammit, I haven’t built this site into a respectable Hollywood column over the last four years to provide a forum for thuggish Barack Obama bashers and Sarah Palin back-rubbers.

Whew. I’m glad Wells decided to take the high road.

Mr Kerry described her as a member of the flat Earth caucus,

But all this time I thought she was a pathetic pander to very shotsighted women

Well, better a member of the flat Earth than the flat head caucus, right Mr Kerry?

That man almost convinces me that the strict evolution myth is true. At least, I can believe his parents are apes.

I just don’t undrstand how they convinced gorillas to enjoy brie.

Another good reason for the good folks in N.C. not to re-elect that idiot…

Please do not stick us with that crapweasel. He belongs to SC, not NC.

Sens. Dole & Burr aren’t anything special, but at least they haven’t openly come out in support of amnesty.

If Gram-Nasty doesn’t like the pick, I like it even more!
