Since this Primary began and moreso since Obama’s clinching of the nomination, Alan has goen so far into the tank he’s impossible to listen to, or even watch on the screen. He twists himself into so many contortions to defend the indefensible, I’m surprised he hasn’t needed physical therapy.
Alan Colmes is a complete blithering idiot. Any woman who has had 4 children and is about to have her 5th knows exactly what she is doing and how long she has to get to the hospital based upon how long her labor was with her previous children. In addition, any woman who has had her water break and continues to work until she gets to the hospital is my HERO! Labor pains can get extremely painful in a short period of time.
I quit watching Hannity and Colmes a very long time ago because I really disliked the weak arguments Colmes would always throw out to screw up a discussion. I can’t get over this unhinged stupidity of the left right now about Governor Palin taking a less than perfect fetus to full term and still showing it the love and care she has for her other 4 children. The liberals are really running scarred right now aren’t they?
I really respect Governor Palin’s integrity to put her principles and values to the test by giving birth knowing she would have an increased challenge in raising her 2nd son. We spent yesterday playing with and caring for an 8 ½ month old unplanned child, but being a right to life family we consider every unplanned child a gift from God and such a child will never go unloved and unappreciated.
Alan Colmes you continue to amaze me at how stupid, classless, irresponsible, and unhinged you are along with the rest of the so called liberals on this planet!

Up to this point I respected AC. Unlike most liberals, he gave his view without any faux outrage or indignation, he kept his head, he was a different kind of liberal. As long as people maintain a respectful demeanor and are intellectually honest I respect them. But what is the point of this article? DS is a chromosome abnormality fixed at conception. Nothing to do with pre-natal care.
I still don’t know what to make of Palin. She’s a very attractive person on just about all levels. I was born in Fargo so I don’t even mind her accent! A lot of Dems seem to believe you could have done just as well by picking someone randomly off the street. Is it possible she’s out of her depth? I may be wrong, but Downs Syndrome has no connection with labor. If it did, then there is no reason for all of these women to have amniosynthesis in the middle of the pregnancies to find out if the unborn child has Downs Syndrome (so that the imperfect child will be aborted).
As a mother of two imperfect children, healthy and normal, but human and imperfect, I can tell you that I felt great concern and pain over every major illness and every scrapped knee. So to come out with this awful inuendo is absolutely subhuman. I have no respect for Colmes now. I watched him, listened to his positions with respect. No more.

Supposedly, some obstetrician from abortion supporting Sacramento California stated that a woman should go to the hospital when her water breaks due to chance of infection. I personally witnessed a qualified obstritician send a woman home when it became apparent her labor was going to be a long one. That woman delivered a lovely, healthy girl 24 hours later. I know because that little girl is mine.

I had to stop watching Hannity and Colmes. The reason is because I began to realize that Colmes is little more than a reactionary, bad-mouthing, complaining, negative, talking head.
That is, I never (though I could have missed the one time) have heard him come up with an original idea, plan, or intelligent thought about anything, political or social, on the show.
All I ever heard him do was complain, berate, and ridicule Hannity’s, or the guest’s, ideas and responses to issues and whine about why it won’t work, can’t be done, or isn’t the right way, but at the same time, never coming up with an alternate plan to fill the void of the one that “won’t work”.
I wonder if the man has ever blurted an encouraging or uplifting word. I never realized that one could be a professional Negative. But, in these nasty-liberal times I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.
I wonder what Michele O. thinks about this and how it will help her kids.

Now now my Conservative friends let us have some sympathy for our Liberal cousins suffering from Palin Derangement Syndrome. It is a chronic, incurable, but not serious condition brought on by an overdose of Carbon Credits. One of the early symptoms of this condition is an illusion of adequacy and self importance. Over use of botox is another symptom.
Many who suffer this condition go into the news media, politics or the entertainment industry so someone will think they are important. It is a pitiful situation, just pitiful.
But for we of the Right, as in the Correct, let us all anticipate the day a polar bear skin rug adorns the Oval Office and we have plenty of AMERICAN oil for my gas guzzling, global warming pick-up truck.
I think Hannity should call for an apology. If not, his resignation. I think this is much more disgusting than saying nappy headed hoes.

Regardless. Considering the ‘oiliness factor’, Alan Combes = Chuck Schumer so a Combes post like this about Mrs. Palin and her son is of no surprise to me.

The fact that they cannot restrain themselves in this issue has delivered the White House to McCain. The Southern Dems, the working-class blue collar voters in Penn, Ohio, Michigan, this will drive them over to Commander McCain. They were uncomfortable with the big-eared neophyte even in the primaries, now they find solid reason to reject him in the privacy of the voting booth. If Obama thinks these attacks won’t stick to him, he’s dead wrong. I am certain that the left will not be able to shut their mouths about this because without abortion, they don’t have much to offer as a party.
They already knew the child was DS a long time prior to birth, and had the option to abort, which makes this garbage even more insulting.
It’s fully within Hannity’s, and anyone else’s, authority to let Colmes know how uncouth his line of questioning was, but it’s not for Hannity, or anyone else, to demand an apology for someone else. The dealings for an apology is between Gov. Palin, her husband, and Colmes. If one neighbor speaks ill of another, I won’t go to my neighbor to demand apologies for the another neighbor, but I will tell that person that what they did wasn’t very polite/proper/respectful/etc.
I look at this woman as a rock. She didn’t take a cowards way out. God loves this little child and entrusted (him/her) into the best hands who would shed that love on this young life. People of lesser character (pro-death selfish liberals) would have this child in a trash bin without love or care. I have seen many Down Syndrome people who not only can lead productive lives, but can show love and compassion to others unlike hate filled libs.
Of course libs don’t have to try to figure out names for kids. Nobody names aborted fetuses.

Make no mistake – I don’t care for Colmes (Hannity either, for that matter) – but everything I have read about him from conservatives who know the man off camera says he is a decent man, unlike many from his side. I think people are reading his comment incorrectly. His comment was:
so he is NOT saying the extended labor and working after Palin’s water broke was cause for the Downs – he knew it was a pre-existing condition. His comment that a womans water breaking is “normally cause for immediate examination by a doctor” is, however, correct, and personally I don’t know how she could continue to work, considering her clothes would most likely be a mess. IF it’s a fact that she continued to work after her water broke. Having delivered 5 babies as a cop – I’m familiar with such things.
I think Colmes removed the comment from his website because in retrospect he knew he crossed the line. If he is as decent a man as I’m told he is – that would be expected. Will he make an “on air” apology? I don’t know, but he should.
That’s my two cents – take it as you will.
I prefer my wife and daughters go to a OB/GYN that is a woman because academic knowledge can never replace personal experience. I don’t think Alan Colmes has had that direct experience.

Colmes is only the tip of the Lib iceberg in the “Fair and Balanced” news department at Fox. I’ve been watching their reporting over the weekend and all they do is repeat the DNC/Obama/Moveon.org talking points on Gov. Palin. As far as I can tell most of the the reporters at Fox would have been happy only if McCain had picked a “Pro-Murder”…oops….I meant to say “Pro-Choice”…. VP like Tom Ridge or Joe Lieberman.
Remember … the few times BO actually cast a vote in the senate other than “present” he was only 1 of 100 on an issue … he has never run a business, been a mayor, or been a governor … you know … that one executive person who after all the “legislative” types have offered a proposal has to decide “YES or NO” … BO wouldn’t last 5 minutes in the real world …
